"She has not been engaged in national issues, does not have a repertoire of historic patterns and, like President Bush, she seems to compensate for her lack of experience with brashness and excessive decisiveness."

"The most that can be said in her defense is that she kept her cool and avoided any brutal gaffes; other than that, she seemed about an inch deep on every issue outside her comfort zone."

"His opportunistic and irresponsible choice of Sarah Palin as his political heir -- the person in whose hands he would leave the country -- is a form of personal treason, a betrayal of all he once stood for. Palin, no matter what her other attributes, is shockingly unprepared to become president."

And those are just the conservatives....

So then you's agree that Obama is SHOCKINGLY unprepared to be PRESIDENT? Oh, that's right, he went to Harvard. Forgot.

"She has not been engaged in national issues, does not have a repertoire of historic patterns..."

I thought you and your little friends were all about CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE...
Tell the truth Corker...you just wanted the change to be Hillary in the Oval Office.

lmao!!

These are CONSERVATIVE writers. I know that chaps your collective asses, but don't blame me for what your ilk, the brighter among them, are forced to admit about McCain and his political pick for VP.

What is even funnier about this is how Libs usually dismiss this guys as neocons. But now they provide words of wisdom.

If you read the articles, every argument regarding Palins lack of experience can be made against Obmama. But yet there is silence from the left regarding his experience which is not much different than Palins.

LMAO.

"His opportunistic and irresponsible choice of Sarah Palin as his political heir -- the person in whose hands he would leave the country -- is a form of personal treason, a betrayal of all he once stood for. Palin, no matter what her other attributes, is shockingly unprepared to become president."
Richard Cohen is not a conservative writer. He is one of the biggest DEM hacks in the press.

More lies from Corky.

Rasmussen shows McCain declining. He's still one point ahead, within margin of error.

In 2002 Cohen was permanently expelled from the American Counseling Association for six violations of its ethics code, which bars members from actions which "seek to meet their personal needs at the expense of clients, those that exploit the trust and dependency of clients, and for soliciting testimonials or promoting products in a deceptive manner."[1][13]

No, definitely conservative.

No, definitely conservative.
Only to an idiot.

According to Brooks, experience can be gained in several ways:

How is prudence acquired? Through experience. The prudent leader possesses a repertoire of events, through personal involvement or the study of history, and can apply those models to current circumstances to judge what is important and what is not, who can be persuaded and who cant, what has worked and what hasnt.

We know Obama is a thinker. He has written two books, and people here have mocked him for his slow, thorough, deliberate thinking and speaking style. Palin, OTOH, is a memorizer and an actor. She studies her lines and then plays the part of a tough, "I never blink" broad. Well, it is political theater, so the unblinking character actor may become VP. I just hope she doesn't study W as her example on how to be president should she become ours one day.

"These are CONSERVATIVE writers. "

Brooks...hahahahahahhahahaha..
.a conservative....hahahahahaha
....come on yer killin me here....now I got a stitch in my side. Good goin'.

It should not be surprising that the Rethugs around here do not recognize well-acknowledged true conservatives who are not flaming anti-intellectuals like themselves.

Of course, it started a while back when anyone who didn't bow and scrape to His Lord Bush was labeled a RINO, until finally Bush himself was tagged as such.

"EVEN RICHARD COHEN HAS HAD ENOUGH.... The Washington Post's Richard Cohen has been one of John McCain's most enthusiastic cheerleaders. At times, it's been downright embarrassing.

In June, Cohen argued that McCain may be a flip-flopper, but we shouldn't question him because he's also a former prisoner of war. In April, Cohen described McCain as an "honorable man who has fudged and ducked and swallowed the truth on occasion," which Cohen described as "understandable." (He didn't say why McCain's mendacity is "understandable," but simply granted absolution.) In July, Cohen said McCain is the superior presidential candidate because he knows McCain better than Obama.

But as of this morning, Cohen's done. Finished. Fed up. Disgusted. Cohen was in the tank for McCain -- we know this because Cohen admits in his column that he was "in the tank for McCain" -- but the scales have been lifted from his eyes.

There's lies and then there's ignorance. Sometimes it's just hard to tell the two apart

"There's lies and then there's ignorance. Sometimes it's just hard to tell the two apart"

Thank God we have you to point it out for us, Corker. I don't know what we'd do without you and the Obamessiah. Looks like we may have to learn though. Not looking too good for The One at the moment. Please tell us we'll still have YOU to lead us.

My comment, most obviously to anyone not too dim to pay attention, was to the moronic cowlicker that called me a liar above.

But in your case, Jest, we all understand your special challenges.

More lies from Corky.

The funny thing is that lies from corky have more truth than the fake truths from cowlicker.

ROTLFMAO at you dumb a**. Your supposed to believe Cohen suddenly returns to the LIB/DEM hack he is. Ha.

What vision did he have to 'convert'?

We know Obama is a thinker. He has written two books, and people here have mocked him for his slow, thorough, deliberate thinking and speaking style
Yes Gal_tuesday and that is why Obama now uses a teleprompter when speaking at a rally in a rodeo areana.

HAHAHA. But he wants to be Pres of the 57 states?

Did I mention anti-intellectual buffoons?

Thought so.

Barack Obama Embellishes His Resume
July 9th, 2005

[by Dan Armstrong]

Dont get me wrong - Im a big fan of Barack Obama, the Illinois freshman senator and hot young Democratic Party star. But after reading his autobiography, I have to say that Barack engages in some serious exaggeration when he describes a job that he held in the mid-1980s. I know because I sat down the hall from him, in the same department, and worked closely with his boss. I cant say I was particularly close to Barack - he was reserved and distant towards all of his co-workers - but I was probably as close to him as anyone. I certainly know what he did there, and it bears only a loose resemblance to what he wrote in his book

electoral-vote.com has McCain ahead 257 to 247, yesterday it was 270 - 268.

BTW this day in 2004 Bush 311 Kerry 223.

Even conservatives understand the hypocrisy of assailing the super-qualified Obama as "not ready" and then turning around and trying to foist off Sarah Palin on an unready nation. herm

Even wealthy Republicans can realize that current Republican policies are bad for their bottom line with so many heavily invested in the stock market - a market that rose 5X in value during Clinton, and which is now just about where it was when he took office almost 8 years ago.

a market that rose 5X in value during Clinton, and which is now just about where it was when BUSH and the GOP got total control almost 8 years ago.

"excessive decisiveness"

we don't need another "decider."

Brooks IS a conservative. Bush, Palin, Delay, et al are "NEO conservatives". They say they're conservative but actually turn out to be the biggest spendthrifts, debt makers, government increasing, warmongering idiots we've ever had in office.

Rasmussen shows McCain declining. He's still one point ahead, within margin of error.

he's dropped 12 gallup points in a week, now down by 2. Needs to put more lipstick on that pig.

On the bright side, he's shut carly Fiona up permanently. If she were a man he wouldn't have, but as a woman, he feels free to do that.

but its not sexism!!!
