"Obviously we must go to war against Russia"

- Sarah (what's a policy?) Palin

Russia is just proving they understand the Bush Doctrine better than Sarah Palin does.

"Russia is just proving they understand the Bush Doctrine better than Sarah Palin does.""

B-b-b-but she can see Russian tundra from Alaskan tunra!

See what the Bush Doctrine has brought us.

Preemptive war without cause is what the legacy of the W will be.

If, after the fact, you cant justify the invasion on the grounds that you based the invasion on you say...'well, we're here, might as well keep on fighting till we dominate completely'.

And now, a very well armed country with massive nuclear arsonal justifies their actions based on the right to preemptively invade.

Thanks for changing the international rules of invasion and occupation W. You have moved the world immusurably nearer to nuclear conflict.

Now there's a legacy for the historians to judge you by. Ya fookun miserable failure.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists currently has the Doomsday Clock set to 5 minutes to midnight (www.thebulletin.org) It hasn't been that close for 24 years (when it stood at 3 minutes).

........Bush and his gang did not foresee that other powers might find adopting the Bush Doctrine to be useful.........

........Russia.....China.....I
ran......India .......who's next ?.......

Russia is really pissed that their offensive weapons might become ineffective through a missile defense system. But Obama would appease them by "banning 'un-proven systems'".

"Russia is really pissed that their offensive weapons might become ineffective through a missile defense system. "

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

suicidal idiot flag

"banning 'un-proven systems'"

Seems to me you'd want to know if a system works before you're relying on it to shoot down a nuke.

dani,

Please tell and show us what the "Bush Doctrine" is.

What's good for the goose....

Of course, it wasn't entirely good for the goose in the first place, but I guess that's beside the point by now.

I'm not Danni, but...

en.wikipedia.org

From the article:

"Later still, it came to include additional elements, including the controversial policy of preventive war, which held that the United States should depose foreign regimes that represented a supposed threat to the security of the United States, even if that threat was not immediate"

I'm generally not a huge fan of the Wiki, but I think that it probably does a pretty good job with that one.

But Bush knows America's the only country in the whole world, how could he possibly have known that there where other major powers on the planet that might want to use their might?

Please tell and show us what the "Bush Doctrine" is.

I know the Right loves to wallow in their proud ignorance, but maybe if you read the newspaper once or twice in the past 7 years you might have heard that phrase before this week.

"See...If the Nuclear Bombs go off. They will make big craters everywhere. And Oil will be easier to get to. Energy Crisis Solved."

"I'm G.W.Bush, and I approve of this Premptive Strike Thingy..."

Retnluvnit PWNED by Dylanfan and wikipedia.

Please try obfuscating again another time, troll.

The Russians have always believed this. So have we Americans. Big deal.

BTW: what kind of clock moves backwards two minutes in 24 years? Silly liberals, and the little games they play. Boo! It's almost midnight!

I hope all of you are registered to vote and will vote Obama, this is the only way the US will survive the next 20 years. We must all help put American back on the right track, the progressive track.

RIR

I am embarassed to have you as a countryman. Wouldn't you like to live in a nice right wing country with the same Constitution, and liberals lived in another country all together. Don't you wish this election was McCain vs Huckabee so that you would know that a conservative was always in power? Wouldn't it be great if the liberal country had to choose between Hillary and Obama, and the outcome wouldn't affect you at all?

You see, that is the country you've been fighting for all your life---liberals just spend money on social programs and they're a bunch of weakling anyway. Wouldn't your country be much better without liberals? They don't have any ideas you want anyway--right?

I doin't think you are an American or understand anything about what America stands for---I believe you feel the same about me and all liberals. Let's stop the bickering and divide the nation in two---we can still be great allies---but we'll all be happy with the government that reflects our position.

Your country would have abortions banned--sound good? No more quibling about guns--sound good? Rich people pay no taxes---sound good? No social programs--privatize social securioty, and all schools would be run by vouchers--sound good? AND--anything else you want politically--sound good? It sounds good to me. So instead of fighting liberal programs over a conservative agenda you klnow is right for America--don't worry about the liberals anymore--the agenda flies right through congress--since it is all conservative.

Give me three good reason that you want liberals in your country--what good are they to you or your country?

I can't give you any reasons I would want conservatives in my country. Their ideas are terrrible and they don't seem to care about anything but themselves.

There are two Americas in reality---we should make it true on paper also.

russia and their iranian buddies

You see, that is the country you've been fighting for all your life---liberals just spend money on social programs and they're a bunch of weakling anyway. Wouldn't your country be much better without liberals?
* * * *

It wouldn't be nearly as funny.

And now we all see exactly why Shrub's Doctrine is so dangerous. I'm surprised a "good ole country boy" like that isn't familiar with "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" but this is a textbook example.

It wouldn't be nearly as funny.

We'd still be doing the same stupid things. You could still laugh, but the best part is---it wouldn't affect YOUR country with the stupid things we would do.

Can't you come out and say America would be better without liberals wanting to change everything? I can certainly say America would be a much better country without conservatives holding us back from the future. I don't understand why you seem to be against this. You haven't given three good reasons that liberals would be beneficial to your country, and I can't think of any good reasons to have people like you as a part of my country. Shouldn't we be sensible and try to get the country we both know is correct? Disolve this country---you can even keep the name for your country if you like. But it should be obvious--there are two Americas and as long as we are tied together, neither one can achieve anything.

So---where's your three reasons?

Why is Russia going on stike? Did they run out of Kvas?

Seriously... we do not need to take them on too.

Seriously... we do not need to take them on too.

Then don't vote for it, idiot.

But first we gotta bomb Iran, and Pakistan, and the Weekly Standard wants us to bomb Syria and lately the DOD thinks China is the new enemy.

Do any of you Cons think there is an element in your party that is out of control?

"Do any of you Cons think there is an element in your party that is out of control?"

Not a chance! The cons are preparing for the End of Days. Palin is salivating at the thought that SHE might be the one to bring it about. Alaska is already declared a 'refuge' for those about to experience the Rapture. I'd laugh if it weren't so damned serious. These people are crazy and they are RUNNING THE GOVERNMENT and now we may end up with someone even CRAZIER in charge.

Thanks Palin you f'ing idiot..

hasn't been a shield to date or anytime in the near future that can guard against sub attack..

I wouldn't feel so smug as I will bet they will be the suppliers of a dozens of terrorist with 10 kiloton devices deployed to america..

putin has it in for us now and our political retards keep poking the bear with a sharp stick.

After Bush put his infamous "Bush doctrine of pre-emptive strikes" into play when he attacked Iraq pre-emptively in 2003 our country no longer has a leg to stand on when another country decides to follow in his footsteps and make pre-emptive strikes part of their own foreign policy.

Bush was the first and only U.S. President to ever attack another country which had not attacked and/or declared war on us first.

Guess the Neocons didn't think their PNAC policy all the way through to the end, did they?

Then we have the ignorant and clueless Mayor from Mooseville going on national television the other night and accusing Russia of being the one who first "attacked without provocation" the province of South Ossettia and confirming the U.S. would side with Georgia in any future war against Russia. In fact McCain said the same thing about backing up Georgia against Russia in his GOP acceptance speech.

Of course Ms. Mukluk's allegation is a lie as it is well-known by everyone it was the leader of Georgia who was the one who first "attacked without provocation" South Ossettia forcing Putin to step in with Russian troops to stop the slaughter of Russian citizens.

Sarah Palin then went on to say that all the Ukraine countries should be allowed to be members of NATO and that indeed the U.S. would back any military action any future members of NATO would take against another non-NATO country.

Can anyone in their right mind really blame Putin for arming himself to the teeth with all these future NATO members lined up on the border of Russia? Putin is a nationalist. He loves his country and will see to it that Russia is protected no matter what it takes.

So what has Bush done to Russia in the past, and what does McCain and the moosekilling Governor of Alaska confirm publicly they will do when it come to dealing with Russia in the future? Use diplomacy to achieve the best results? Nope. They promise to continue to stick a needle in the eye of the Russian bear and then look confused and indignant when the Russian Bear starts to growl.

Not a chance! The cons are preparing for the End of Days. Palin is salivating at the thought that SHE might be the one to bring it about. Alaska is already declared a 'refuge' for those about to experience the Rapture. I'd laugh if it weren't so damned serious. These people are crazy and they are RUNNING THE GOVERNMENT and now we may end up with someone even CRAZIER in charge.

the good thing is they will be taken in the first wave and we independents and libs can piece it back together and effectively banish the remaining rethug fools to eternal expatriation

Russia should let the Bush/Israel/Neo_Con "Rule Book" be their sole decider if they have any hesitant thoughts whatsoever about quickly and "pre-emptively" deploying their nuclear warheads!!!

Buffalo Bob--wouldn't it be easier for you just to move to Cuba?

No, actually, I think Putin is just an evil opposite of W. They are both pre-Russia break-up and they behave that way. Pity, that means when our next Prez comes in, the cold war is back on--

Anyone that thinks the Bush Doctrine is a new thing in American policy has not been studing American history over, at least, the last seventy, or so, years. The US has never been attacked by another country since the English in 1812, (You can't count the attack by a bunch of countryless fanatics on 9-11) All the wars and little battles we have fought have been pre-emtive strike against countries that posed no threat to America or the American people.

So finally the rest of the world wants to play by our rules, or lack of rules as it were. We are the first industrial country to throw out the Geniva Convention. We are the country that has been working the hardest to destroy th UN. We are the country that refuses to accept there is any law that that we can't break whenever it is to our advantage. So welcome to the real "Wild West", where the biggest gun is always right. The problem is, America no longer has the biggest gun. And more and more kids in the playground are getting their own guns. Soon they may decide that it's time to get rid of the "Mad Dog Bully" that doesn't believe in any rules.

Um....Pearl Harbor?

Duh!

I asked you a question. It seems you can't answer. How about a nice case of STFU to go then? I'll put it on your bill under Nazi expenses.

**** Bush was the first and only U.S. President to ever attack another country which had not attacked and/or declared war on us first.

... Posted by CalifChris *******

.....in fairness to Bush.......Viet Nam did not attack us...neither did Granada,Panama......and the Cubans did not attack us in the Bay of Pigs, but our CIA funded an attack on them........

........likewise we have meddled and had our surrogates overthrow democratic governments in Iran and Chile........

......while I agree with much of your posting....in fairness to Bush...we have a long history of warring on, and meddling all over the world......lets fix America before we try saving the world........

........Palin does not seem to understand the concept of Mutually Assured Destruction........

.......that should be a wake-up call to the nation.......

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36

If Palin is a Christian like she says she is, would she live by this concept?

From what I've been taught, those who seek to wage war are rather un-christian.

Oh. Well, your question is stupid. The United States isn't going to sunder itself just because you think conservatives and liberals shouldn't get along. And if you think I'm a Nazi for believing so, that's your prerogative. Just like it's my prerogative to think you're a douchebag.

But just because you're a douchebag doesn't mean we can't be neighbors. But if you're really unhappy here, United can have you anywhere in the world you want to be in about twelve hours' time. Havana, Caracas, Douchebagistan . . .

From what I've been taught, those who seek to wage war are rather un-christian.

With White House Push, U.S. Arms Sales Rise Sharply

www.nytimes.com

The Bush administration is pushing through a broad array of foreign weapons deals as it seeks to rearm Iraq and Afghanistan, contain North Korea and Iran, and solidify ties with onetime Russian allies.

Webmaster's Commentary:
It's the "Iraq Method".

1. Sell weapons to country.
2. Declare war on that country.
3. Smash weapons previously sold to that country.
4. Sell new weapons to that country.

Such a deal!

lol...Russia gets it finally!
