Lynchings: Yes, we do punish criminals harshly, if someone molests my child, they are normally hung, if somone kills my elderly grandmother in her home for her antique "hillbilly" jewelry, a hanging wpould be in order, normally i would not be involved but would smile slightly to see a violent, worthless human oxygen theive relieved of his rights to ever do it again.
