A newly discovered comet, 2008 KV42, may help scientists understand one of the biggest puzzles of our galaxy: Why Halley's Comit orbits backwards. "It's one of the most famous comets known, and we have no dynamic explanation for how it got into its orbit and how it got to be there," said astronomer J.J. Kavelaars.

It's all theory and conjecture.

Zat will tell us. Oh, Zat please appear.

It's that way the same reason every other complicated phenomenon is the way it is.

Cuz god made it that way. See how easy it is to explain everything when you don't have to use logic or reason? Just blame on the whim of some invisible guy. Really frees up your mind from all that hard thinking stuff.

I don't like talk of comets given Obama's probable election...

I sometimes orbit backwards, forwards, and off the walls here in my own galaxy.
You mean to tell me it's not normal?

It was the day LarryMohr turned over.

The gravitational disturbance was enough to completely reverse Halley's orbit.

Sarah Palin orbits McBush backwards too. herm

our lord and saviour Jesus Christ placed Haley's comet in a reverse orbit to test our faith. Accept Jesus or be damned to hell forever.

Coriolis effect.
