I'm paying $3.70 a gallon, too. And I worry that my job can go overseas and leave me hanging. And I worry about teen relatives getting drafted for stupid wars. And I too have voted both sides of the aisle. I voted for Clinton first term because I thought Bush Sr's body language showed him to not be interested in the job for a second term. I always vote for Ted Kennedy, even though I think he sucks as a human, because he brings home the bacon and he firmly believes what he believes and does not waffle.

What I'm waiting for are some concrete national solutions from anyone -- Bush, McCain, Obama, Pelosi, Biden, Palin, Reid -- all I hear are generalities or pandering or outright stasis.
