I wouldn't say she needs to be Vice President. From what I've seen of her so far she seems like a good choice. She seems to have united the base behind McCain, that's good for him. She brought in a ton of money recently. McCain needed to shake up the race, and he certainly did that... according to Zogby, Obama got no bounce from his convention.

As far as who I would prefer running the country I would have to go with Biden because he's more prepped for the job on day 1, but she wouldn't have to step in as President anytime soon...
