Hurricane net is up on 14.325 MHz.

Not wishing anything upon the folks in New Orleans but if their city gets destroyed again I hope the Feds dont waste money rebuilding it unless it's on higher ground. Much higher ground.

Try 75 meters at this time of day.

You're going to get wet, Zat.

Ya'll need the rain?

"You're going to get wet, Zat."

Not very.
I have family in the cattle business in North Texas who will get some welcome rain.

Has Gus been downgraded to a cat 3 ? Or is it still a cat 4?
I'll go see what CNN and the other cable channels are saying.

Chris check out the scientific discussion on wunderground.com.

This morning they discribing how the storm was diminished more over Cuba than expected, interesting stuff.

It's still a 3 Chris, but the last visible satellite photo (23:45 UTC) shows what looks like the eye reforming.

Okay, will do. Just got in the door but will be sure and read it a little later on
just as soon as I get a chance. Thanks.

New Orleans is fucked. It's just a matter of time before the whole place is under water. If I owned any property there I'd be looking for a sucker to take it off my hands ASAP.

Cat 3 or Cat 4 ... either way it's going to have a ton of rain and a big storm surge.

Look at the NOAA storm surge probabilites chart.
Safe to say flooded again considering Katrina's
maximum surge was east of NO and this is dead
center.

GOD DOESN`T LIKE MAYOR NAGIN.........

Now we have Hurricane Hanna.

Now we have Tropical Storm Ike.

And there's more to come!
