They need to both go bankrupt and then die without health insurance. Then be buried in a paupers grave or cremated and ashes spread in a landfill..That would be ironic.

"I'm not sure I like that darkie running for president, Harry."

"That's NOT the issue Louise. He's just as good and as qualified as Gore and Kerry were, no matter wha....Whoa. Damn, now that I think of it, I don't like that darkie either."

I wonder how Harry and Louise like the Republicans' health care plan proposal --
crawl on your hands and knees to some local churches and charities and beg them for money to pay your medical bills.

That's the current Republicans' "faith-based" version of health care for Americans with no health insurance.

Don't know what their plan is if you don't belong to a church. Guess then they'll suggest you just get sick and die.

Harry and Louise need to apologize to America and finally tell America that insurance company profits and CEO salaries prevent millions of Americans from getting the care they need. If there were a God any church those filthy CEOs went inside would immediately fall down or burst into flames. Hopefully when they finally do die they will receive their just desserts.

Atta Girl Danni!!!!!

That is the Danni we all know and love.

Don't know what their plan is if you don't belong to a church

what is the plan IF you belong to a church?

tell us.

Harry and Louise didn't die from lack of health care?

Danni,

Please show me the correlation between the profits of insurance companies, the salaries of their CEO's and the inabiliy of some people aquiring health insurance because of these monies.

Having the goverment in charge of healthcare scares the hell out of me. They can't run the programs they have now properly, what makes us think they will do a better job with healthcare.
Also, the potential for fraud is just astronomical. Look at the fraud today in the healthcare system and multiply that by ?? who knows.
I think it will bankrupt the country.

We have to think of a better was of getting everyone healthcare, I have no clue as to how to do it, I wish I did.

It is self-evident. It would be illogical to think that they don't so why don't you show me how health care costs are reduced by insurance company profits and CEO salaries in the millions.

We have to think of a better was of getting everyone healthcare.

Yep, just like for the past fifty years....while every "civilized" country has something better than we have.

how many billions to the pharms spend on advertising a year? it's about the drugs - once everybody's safely on them it'll all be better. we're almost there!

I did not think so.

I did not think so....what?

"Da Gummint" remains the universal boogeyman for simpletons. Da Gummint is you and me, working on your and my behalf. People who bitch about government programs being improperly run never mention the appalling costs of the greed in private, for-profit, programs.

"... the potential for fraud is... astronomical. Look at the fraud in the healthcare system and multiply that by ?? who knows. I think it will bankrupt the country."

The country will never be more bankrupted than it is today. It cannot be. The "potential" for fraud is astronomically bigger in private HMOs.

Ret, I suggest you listen to O'Bama for some REAL ideas. herm

Sometimes. Usually on the behalf of some corporation or other special interest.

The left will get a shot at some type of national health care when they approach the debate in an honest way. The shouldn't deny that it will mean more money out of peoples wallets. They shouldn't deny that service will drop. They should make the argument that these things are necessary to ensure everyone gets a basic level of care. That if you lose your job, you won't after choose between your life and your families financial future.

Instead it's the pie in the sky stuff. We'll provide health care for everyone, with better service all with the profits of the HMO's. No one will be impacted except those evil corporate people.

Interesting question isn't it? Why do the same lefties who complain that our government is owned lock stock and barrel by our large corporations want this same governemnt to take over one of the largest portions of our economy currently being run by very powerful corporations?

do they expect a different result that what they currently get from our govt.
