"...In order to find out whats really going on in Georgia, you have to read the international press on the internet."...Russia is accusing the heavy CIA presence in Georgia of stirring up trouble and providing arms for the So. Ossetia conflict against Russia. Russian newspaper Prada reports this conflict is just like the runup to the war in Kosovo and similar to tactics taken in Iraq.

from the article:

...The things that were happening in Kosovo, the things that were happening in Iraq we are now following the same path. further the situation unfolds, the more the world will understand that Georgia would never be able to do all this without America. ...Ossetian defense officials used to make statements about imminent aggression from Georgia, but the latter denied everything, whereas the US Department of State released no comments on the matter.

In essence, they have prepared the force, which destroys everything in South Ossetia, attacks civilians and hospitals. They are responsible for this. The world community will learn about it,-- Vasilyev told Pravda.

Hmm, ask yourself -- with the elections right around the corner -- who really needs a war right now. Bush and the Republican party keep pushing John McCain as the only person who as president would be able to handle a war and national security. Do you mean to tell me our CIA which has a heavy presence in Georgia did not see this conflict brewing? Where was Bush before things got this far?

Well, it's August. Just about the time a new war needed to be moved from the back burner and out to front and center on our tv news every night. Just like clockwork.

"Where was Bush?"

Indeed. WHere has he been?

Exactly. Where has Bush been? The U.S. has heavy CIA presence in Georgia. You mean to tell me they never advised Bush of a massive military build-up in Russia all aimed at invading Georgia? Bush wanted it to reach this point. War is very, very good for the Republicans in an election year.

Neocon Republicans love to use the "rally round the flag, boys" tactic to get their base hopped up to vote for another "war" president. This time the Neocons need a conflict to get McCain in office.

No one is more pro-America than I am. But I am also no fool either. NO WAY could Bush have not known this conflict and tension were building up but he chose to do nothing. Sort of like he did nothing in August of 2001 when he had the dire warning about an eminent attack on the U.S. by terrorists in the near future yet he sat out at his ranch and did nothing.
