Good. I was going to post this. Glad you did, Nullifidian. Someone ought to post a list of McCain's old positions versus his new ones, and compare that to what Obama's been saying all along.

I guess nobody's going to need McCain anymore! He should just retire.

In a related story John McCain admitted the he got tingle up his leg during Obama's Berlin speech.

Can't wait for the debates.

Yav, ask and you shall receive. Looks like one more can be added to the list, time tables bad/timetable good.

Holy crap. McBullshit is losing it.

Just another flip flop to add to the list of hundreds.

But I thought that Obama did not have any experience to have a good working foreign policy.

Glad to see Bush, McCain and Co coming around to Obama's position.

Last year anyone calling for a timetable was a "Defeatocrat".

What will the right wing do now for insults?

But... But.... But... If we don't fight the "Terrorists " over there in Iraq... They will follow us home and attack us here !!

Come on Republicans !!! We need some more fear hype mongering bullshit like you have given us for the last 5 years !!

Nice cut and paste to push an agenda but shoddy reporting which is par...

full quote...

MCCAIN: He said it's a pretty good timetable based on conditions on the ground. I think it's a pretty good timetable, as we should -- or horizons for withdrawal. But they have to be based on conditions on the ground.

Why doesn't the Mother Fucker say it the way it really is.. "We need to make sure the Oil we just spent a Trillion dollars fighting for is secured"...everything else is BULLSHIT !!!

Fucking appeasing surrender monkey!

Oh wait, he's a Republican.

Another Glorious Victory for the Bestest Commander-in-Chief in history.

I think the Rightys should just wait. By next week he'll be saying we need a surge and the week after, he'll be telling us about this guy named saddam having WMD and being a threat to the US of A.

"But they have to be based on conditions on the ground."
Translation. "Obama is making me look like an idiot. I can't admit he's right and I'm wrong again. Maliki is a big jerk, too."

Because that's not the way it is. That is what people that write misleading headlines like this want you to think.

Your doing a good job of drinking it up.

Last year? You mean before the surge, which Osama has endorsed as a good, effective idea?

Nice job there of selective memory, Mr. Surrendercrat.

Poor Johnnyboy-taunts Obama into going to iraq and gets his ass kicked because of it, as Obama rocks the world. He should just be grateful Obama chose not to go with him, because then he'd have really looked pathetic when maliki supported Obama when John went carpet shopping.

But it is nice to see that even Mcsame admits that, just as he was totally wrong in the run up to the war, he is totally wrong about how it ends. And in fairness, 16 months is pretty close to 48 months to McSame- a really really short part of his life.

"Last year anyone calling for a timetable was a "Defeatocrat".

That still holds true. Might as well take out full page ads in the papers over there saying "U.S. leaving on (such and such a date) so sit tight and cause no trouble till they are gone". Yep, that is a real intelligent battle plan they have. Go get 'em General Reid and Commander Pelosi!

But since the military have done so well it is pretty much over, they can start pulling out. And yes it will take about a year and a half. So when Obama says he will pull the troops remember it is going to happen anyway, with or without Obama.

He was the ONLY one saying it until the Iraqis and the WH, and now McCain fell in line.

Until they know we're leaving they won't get the necessary political goals met. 12 months after the initial '6 month' surge was supposed to be over they have yet to achieve it.

You have to let go of the training wheels for someone to learn how to ride a bike.

McIdiot!

what a waste this man is. i didn't think the right could choose a bigger idiot that boy dunder but lo and behold: along comes mr. poopypants.

Don't stand behind McSame. You'll get run over by the back pedal.

Don't stand behind McSame. You'll get run over by the back pedal.

don't stand anywhere near a GOPper. You'll get chewed up in the spin.

I don't think McCain has an original thought in his head.

But Saddam does have WMDS and we reallllly MUST take him out. He clearly is a threat to the USA. Where do I sign up?

Signed: Another Ignorant Republican Hick in the Ozarks.

In other news, John McCain took a bite from a sausage roll at Gerty's Sausage Haus. Aids rushed forwards with Kleenex as grease ran down his chin. Quoting the Maverick; "Yummy Yum Yum. Those Muslims sure don't know what they're missing..."

So now that you have thoroughly convinced yourself that we are not in Iraq for the Oil...ask yourself one more simple question.

Why is the Bush Administration currently building the largest US embassy in the recorded history of planet earth at a cost approaching $1 Bullion dollars in Iraq which will ultimately employ 3000 permanent US State department employees.

Why in the Hell would we do this if we're coming home as soon as the Iraqis can stand on their own?

Wake up and smell the roses pal...I assure you we're not building a Billion dollar embassy in a dry oil hole country like Afganistan.

That is what people that write misleading headlines like this want you to think.

Your doing a good job of drinking it up.

Could it be because they were quoting McCain verbatim? Duh

HOT DAMN!

I know you're all about lapping McSames balls, but now you even sound like him.

Your two paragraphs from above completely contradict one another. I didn't know it was possible to FLIP FLOP in the same post.

Nice work.
