*** Study: Tobacco Could Help Treat Cancer ***

......sounds like big tobacco is donating to the Republicans again......

This is all fine till the EPA releases a doctored study that finds second-hand tobacco cancer treatment kills 50,000 innocent bystanders a year. Then we'll need some more quality tobacco legislation to protect us from ourselves.

But Pot is still illegal....

That's pretty interesting. Is tobacco the ONLY thing it can grow in? That's a great first step, it's even more clever then the retroviral attack.

I'm always wary of anything medical involving addictive substances, as usually it's actually referring to a study that proves nothing and is only to put forth some lobby's interests... but this seems like legit progress. I'd still like to know why _only_ tobacco can be used this way, or if it's just another sly wink and nudge thing. I'm not so naive to think that only potheads will obfuscate to march forward their agenda.

I've posted their info in past months... Targacept is a local company which is finding medicinal uses for nicotine. It's an offshoot of RJ Reynolds, oddly enough.
