Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Sen. Barack Obama arrived Saturday in Afghanistan, which one week ago suffered the deadliest attack on U.S. troops in three years. "As should have been apparent to President Bush and Sen. (John) McCain, the central front in the war on terror is not Iraq, and it never was," Obama said before the trip. Part of his new strategy will be "taking the fight to al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

Pakistan...

But didn't our good allies and welfare recipients in the Pakistani government tell Lil Bush to "not bother looking in Pakistan, just ignore that six foot guy hooked up to a dialysis machine, he only LOOKS like Osama Bin Forgotten."

Maybe Lil Bush should send them another few billion as it is clear the current bribes are not enough.

This story causes me to recall some of the "wishes" expressed by the left when Bush visited. Does anyone remember?

Can he stay there?

I remember that my fervent wish was that he would return safely, without incident...

... and then be impeached and driven from office in disgrace for butt raping America for 7 1/2 years, hounded from country to country, unable to find refuge, and that he would die a very old man from natural causes, knowing that he was still despised and his name spoken in derision right up until the end.

But that was just me. *sigh*

Obama is still exhibiting some 'youth and inexperience'. And he is trying to RHETORIC his way into the White House.

McCain is a bit charisma challenged, but doing a little better with those funny jokes.

McCain, loosen up a bit....

Obama, get more gravitas....

CNN reporting that Al Maliki has endorsed Obama's timetable for US withdrawal.

That's gonna frost some GOP Berries.

I put a link to the Der Spiegel interview with al-Maliki on the back page.

It's about time Osama got a photo op with soldiers on the ground.

Why so late with this? Who's running Dumbo's campaign? Hillary! had her photo op a couple years ago.

Vernon-
President Obama. I like the sound of that.

Takeitez-
"Rhetoric" is a noun. Let's keep it that way.

That's gonna frost some GOP Berries.

I can't speak for any Republicans -- coz I'm not a member of that club -- but I think most Americans are glad that there is finally a glimmer of light. I think most Americans hope and pray for stability in Iraq..
.
You are a bigot and want to lump together all people who disagree with you. Sorry, clown, but there's more to it than your simple mind can comprehend.

President Obama. I like the sound of that.

Good for you. Enjoy your fantasy. I think McCain will eek out a win. That's not a wish but an educated assessment.

That said, they both suck; Osama may be a good president 20 years from now. I'm kinda thankful that I'm moving to Asia in a few weeks and won't have to pick between two pathetic candidates.

I guess I could get an absentee ballot ... do Democrats suppress all absentee ballots, or just those from military members?

...rhetoric...

I like the sound of it that way, but thanks.

It's a noun, and as conservatives we really should set some standards and live by them, don't you think?

I just mentioned this on the nooner because I didn't see this story. I saw Obama today, in Kabul. It was pretty neat.

Andy-
what happened?

Betel: I was on the roof fucking with an antenna and I saw a Chinook land then 2 blackhawks and I rushed off the roof to meet him, but he was gone before I could shake his hand. He was on only base for a few minutes before he left. I did see him from like 20 feet away though. Pretty cool experience. Not gonna vote for the guy but it was awesome that he came.

"on only" = "only on" It's been a long day.

I can't speak for any Republicans -- coz I'm not a member of that club...

FF for Vermin!

Spermin Vermin

Holy Shizzy!!!! Two FF's in a row for Vermin!!

You're on a roll dog!

An expensive Photo Op at the taxpayers' expense.

An expensive Photo Op at the taxpayers' expense.

McCain made it an issue. McCain made campaigning overseas legitimate with his 3 trips. McCain made the box and stepped in it. McCain threw the challenge down, and Obama turned it into a winning situation.

McCain's judgement is not what we need in the WH.

We need someone that can turn adverse situations to America's opportunities.

"An expensive Photo Op at the taxpayers' expense."

Who paid for McCain's trip to the market in Baghdad? You know, the time he lied about Petraeus being able to drive around town in an unarmored Humvee. Or was Jurassic John just confused?
