Girls Scout Pot Farm?

Busted?

S'rsly?

ROTFL MSAO!

Do they have a new motto now?

"Be Prepared ...to get totally wasted!"

Spud shouldn't be surprised at the Girl Scout/Marijuana connection in hindsight.

Spud has gotta admit it does make Spud's near addiction to them cookies make a lot more sense.

^_^

Be Well.

isn't it a pity

isn't it a shame

how we break eachothers hearts

and cause eachother pain

Pain is necessary.

Wow Nutcase,

Very impressive.

Here's one for you.

Let it roll across the floor
Through the hall and out the door
To the fountain of perpetual mirth
Let it roll for all it's worth

The Boy Scouts aren't anything to write home about either.

Uh huh. You've obviously never watched The Black Stallion. It was pretty amazing to watch what an effete boy could do with a jacknife while being rescued to a deserted island by a horse.

Or...

You got sick on some Girlscout cookies but your twin mammaries preclude you from bashing girls so you take your frustration out on boys.

Hell, my son's cub scout leader's son, who was also a scout leader, was arrested for selling pot from his home. He was actually a great guy, the kids liked him.

They were getting free dope; course they liked him.

Sing around the camp-fire ...And pass me the bong.

Here in Zion the scouts are controlled by the Mormons. I was in scouts early on. Our scout master was arrested for molesting his children. The Bishop of the church tried to sweep it under the rug. The mother finally went to the police.

Nedless to say I never recieved my Eagle.

My father taught me everything I know about life and the great outdoors. I sould put my outdoor skills up against any of those Mo Mo Eagle Scouts any day.

sould=would

Nothing like eating a couple of brownies when you are stoned.

Tuesday 68,000 plants were discoveed in the national forest near my house.

Now THAT'S funny 08.

I wonder if someone earned a badge for this

I think you're letting your slip show there, Auntie.

But you are right.

In the end, not much better than Mexican brick I'd guess.

_2112_ It would be interesting to see how we stack up, I am better outdoors than most eagle scouts are, but I was in a troop that actualy enjoyed hiking so we spent alot more time outdoors than alot of troops do.

My troops was molestation free but hardly squeeky clean, I smoked my first cigarete on a camping trip, my first joint on a camping trip, I learned how to jack coke machines with taped dollar bills (doesn't work on any machine newer than 2000) learned more about shoplifting than I really need to know and towards the end there learned how to jack cars.

Oh yeah the boy scout education was well rounded.

Tao,

Wow, I'm glad I got out when I did, although I managed to experience the first two items you mentioned anyway. Never shoplifted of jacked a car though.

Outdoor growing in Indiana = STRESS

I find it rather relaxing. Gardening is a great hobby. It doesn't require all your mental capacity leaving time to reflect and think about life, love, or all the trimming that lay ahead.

It is a lot of work though, epically if you have to hump in the water by hand every three days. That's the key though. The pigs fly creek beds and swamps because most growers are too lazy to carry water far from the source. Don't be that stupid.

It's odd they even got caught this time of year. The plants won't flower for another 5 weeks. Everything is the forest is green, and cannabis blends in well and looks like any ole bush for now. I'll bet these dudes got narced.

5,000 plants well fed = 1/4 pound per plant minimum. That's half a ton of smoke! You know how long it would take two Mexicans to trim that much dope? Me either. My fingers hurt just thinking about it.

Girl Scout cookies just don't have the profit that they did in the past. It is good for a gardening patch. You can learn to roll the perfect number. They say it will never be done, try-try-try! This camp and troop of Girls can get higher faster than virtually any other pack.

People, look for the good in everything.

If the Girl Scouts wanted a sure-fire fundraiser, they'd dump the cookies and start selling hash brownies.

Oh, and those looking for a fun book to read, I recommend "Budding Prospects" by T.C. Boyle.

Get high on life. It works for me.

"Too bad all you lazy pot smokers will never realize your full potential in life, at least not until you quit smoking grass."

Chill dude. You're harshing our buzz.

Too bad all you lazy pot smokers will never realize your full potential in life

While that is true for many people I can name several stoners that are doing quite well one was on the cover of Forbes a couple years back. It's a persons lvl of personal motivation that matters not the weed.

never realize your full potential in life

Yeah, like Thomas Jefferson? Ben Franklin had the largest cannabis plantation in America. George Washington encouraged everyone to grow "Indian hemp".

Growing and smoking cannabis is an American tradition. It was here long before your clan made the trek over. Who the fuck are you to come here and tell me what I should grow on my land? You let me worry about my potential and Ill let you worry about yours. Deal?

Our ancestors have cultivated cannabis for thousands of years. Before W.R. Hurst and Dupont it was the most prescribed medication on Earth. We all are the descendants of stoners. Even you lil fella.

It's an SRR because anyone who's gay-ass fucking handle is "Republican4ever" is a stupid as a shithouse log.

No, not as much as some of you lefties need civility.

By the way, let me ask all you dope smokers a question. Would you proudly admit to your parents that you're a pothead? Why or why not?

Most of ourt parents were raised on the REPUBLICAN propaganda that pot is evil, a killer weed. Similar in effect to heroine, cocaine etc.

It's nothing of the sort. Like a lot of other things in life, if you're high ALL the time-it'll damage your short term memory.
A gateway drug? Doubtful-at best.
Addictive? No way-at least not chemically.
PSYCHOLOGICALLY? Only way possible-is if you're genetically prone to addictions in the first place-in which case-you could get addicted to LITERALLY anything.
Try again, sparky....

Fuck off cunt.

Retarded4Ever, that is. You piece of fucking shit. Come to California and I'll wrap you in a blanket and toss you off the Santa Monica pier and let the sharks have at it.

You're pathetic.

I'll answer your questions after you reconcile your "lazy, under-achieving pothead" theory with our Founding Fathers, and the countless writers, philosophers, scientists, and artists who use cannabis in its' many forms on a daily basis. Hell, I might even be nice about it, maybe.

Growing and smoking cannibus is an old American tradition? You are not even close. It was very lpw to zero use as a smoke but then as today makes top quality rope when stripped and called "Hemp". Not "Grass".

Republican4ever

So I guess the multi millionare pot head who has started two business and made the cover of Forbes was not a response worthy of your time?

Interesting since you made a broad sweeping statement all it takes is one to bring your whole argument to it's knees, I know the one yet you ignore it?

You are not even close.

"Cannabis hemp was legal tender (money) in most of the Americas from 1631 until the early 1800s. Why? To encourage American farmers to grow more."
-Clark, V.S., History of Manufacture in the United States, McGraw Hill, NY 1929, Pg. 34.

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew cannabis on their plantations. Jefferson,3 while envoy to France, went to great expense, and even considerable risk to himself and his secret agents, to procure particularly good hempseeds smuggled illegally into Turkey from China

The body of literature (i.e., archaeology, anthropology, philology, economy, history) pertaining to hemp is in general agreement that, at the very least:

From more than 1,000 years before the time of Christ until 1883 A.D., cannabis hemp, indeed, marijuana was our planets largest agricultural crop and most important industry, involving thousands of products and enterprises; producing the overall majority of Earths fiber, fabric, lighting oil, paper, incense and medicines. In addition, it was a primary source of essential food oil and protein for humans and animals.

According to virtually every anthropologist and university in the world, marijuana was also used in most of our religions and cults as one of the seven or so most widely used mood-, mind-or pain-altering drugs when taken as psychotropic, psychedelic (mind-manifesting or -expanding) sacraments.

Almost without exception, these sacred (drug) experiences inspired our superstitions, amulets, talismans, religions, prayers, and language codes. (See Chapter10 on Religions and Magic.--)

"When Hemp Saved George Bush's Life

One more example of the importance of hemp: Five years after cannabis hemp was outlawed in 1937, it was promptly reintroduced for the World War II effort in 1942.

So, when the young pilot, George Bush, baled out of his burning airplane after a battle over the Pacific, little did he know:

- Parts of his aircraft engine were lubricated with cannabis hempseed oil;

- 100 percent of his life-saving parachute webbing was made from U.S. grown cannabis hemp;

- Virtually all the rigging and ropes of the ship that pulled him in were made of cannabis hemp.

- The fire hoses on the ship (as were those in the schools he had attended) were woven from cannabis hemp; and,

- Finally, as young George Bush stood safely on the deck, his shoes' durable stitching was of cannabis hemp, as it is in all good leather and military shoes to this day.

Yet Bush has spent a good deal of his career eradicating the cannabis plant and enforcing laws to make certain that no one will learn this information - possibly including himself. . ."

Splitting your bad joke into two posts makes it that much more excruciating.

Although the full cans of coke in a laundry bag may be an option!

Damn dude, you're brutal.

Rocks it is, but no hitting in the face.

p.s.
or nuts

For the record r8rh8r, my comments have never directly insulted anyone. Thanks for posting some of my previous comments to prove it. Even the "Danni Drivel" comment was not directed at Danni, but at the poster who coined the phrase.

And, if you want to believe that smoking weed is or was ever mainstream, then I could care less. It isn't popular culture, nor has it ever been. Hopefully one day, for your sake, you will wake-up and smell the coffee.

Oh and to this gem

Would you proudly admit to your parents that you're a pothead? Why or why not?

Not only admit it but I bought my dad a vaporizor so he could see if it would help his ALS. (some help early on none now)

It isn't popular culture, nor has it ever been.

70 million Americans smoke pot. After 30 years of "eradication" cannabis is the largest cash crop in the country. More money is spent on pot than corn and wheat combined.

You're not paying attention, and that isn't surprising in the least.

I'm in my 40s and my parents know I smoke pot. My dad sort of shakes his head and smiles and says be careful or something. My mom always talks like she might be interested in trying it some day (but that's as far as it goes).

I don't smoke it often - maybe a few times a year - but I still enjoy it. It's relaxing. Just like I enjoy a good cocktail. What's the difference? Who gives a good shit, really?

Some people who smoke reefer are lazy, no-count losers, it's true. So are some people who don't smoke reefer.

Republican4Ever, I'm glad you "get high on life." More power to ya. But you're no more virtuous than me just because you don't smoke pot. You might want to give that rant a rest.

Anytime, anyplace in San Diego or L.A. Come on, you fat Republitards, put your pussies where your assholes are...

Jomama,

I'd have you crying like the little bitch that you are within seconds.

Some people should not smoke pot, drink alcohol or even caffeinated beverages. Those that do so in moderation usually suffer no ill side effects from their usage. Those that tend to abuse intoxicants are those that shouldn't imbibe in the first place, but their (or your) sobriety is none of my affair and I'll thank you to return the favor.

Prohibition doesn't work. It never will. It only serves to create criminal enterprises that count on it's continued prohibition. Cigarettes kill close to half a million Americans a year. How many died directly because of marijuana use? And yet, the pungent little plant remains on Schedule 1--while tobacco sales flourishes because it feeds the coffers of the US Treasury with taxes and tariffs. I think I read somewhere that the majority of all top leaf tobacco grown in the United States is exported. You're smoking the swag from the bottom of the plant sprinkled generously with all sorts of yummy additives to keep you addicted. Addicted just like a heroin user.

Legalize marijuana. Place the same taxation and restrictions that are placed on alcohol and sell it in the same manner. What have we to lose? And please save the whole "gateway" argument for some rube that might buy it.

Sure jeffy, be sure and bring your baby sister so I'll have someplace to stuff my other fist.

I don't have a baby-sister, Jomama. I guess I will just have to butt-fuck your baby sister instead.

Mommy cut you off, huh, tough-guy? Or did she miss with the Cleveland steamer and get shit on your pizza again?

Jomama,

Psssst.....I've donkey-punched every female you care about.

are you girls gonna kiss?

Dutch,

"Legalize marijuana. Place the same taxation and restrictions that are placed on alcohol and sell it in the same manner. What have we to lose? And please save the whole "gateway" argument for some rube that might buy it."

I agree with you. Pot isn't really much of a gateway drug.

However, why use any drugs at all?

Why not keep your head clear and avoid the problems that come with drug use? They mostly harm your body/your life and take a lot of your money.

If you just don't start, you'll never feel like you're missing out on something and you might end up doing other things instead.

You're missing the point. If tobacco kills over 400,000 Americans a year, why is marijuana still on Schedule 1? I'm not advocating legalizing any other substance on that list, but your attempt to equate its usage to more potent intoxicants tells me that you are incapable of telling the difference despite your uninformed protestations otherwise.

I'm on record here, but to answer your Just Say No questions...
I smoke marijuana occasionally (because I like it)
I drink high-end whiskey occasionally (because I like it)
I play the guitar (because I seem to have some aptitude for it)
I am content. I've been drug free for almost 30 years now with no relapses. Not all of us get the Disney movie life.

It's not for everyone. Some are incapable of knowing when their drug of choice, whether it's pot, booze, money, fame, sex, heroin, whatever...owns them. I was fortunate to get my wakeup call watching someone I loved get lost in her addiction. I made it out the other side. She didn't. Let it go.

That was a pretty good post, Dutcher.

I'm a married father that (occasionally) smokes pot with his parents, aunt, and uncle (a high chool principal).

I've smoked pot with my parents.

Take that, "counter-culture".

But why is that criminalized behavior?

With you on this one, pinche. Pot use should not be a crime.

I've smoked pot with my parents.

A lot have, including me. I no longer smoke it, but my choice in that matter should not be forced upon anyone else.

I don't smoke it anymore, either.

It makes me paranoid now.

Something in me changed---and I no longer enjoy the experience.

But old fuckers who raised me still do.

Very accomplished people with advanced degrees and high levels of stature in their communities.

There needs to be a national organization for the reformation of marijuana law.

I don't smoke it anymore, either.

It makes me paranoid now.

Something in me changed---and I no longer enjoy the experience.

Ditto. Also, it was increasingly difficult to find marijuana that wasn't cut with something else.

Haven't smoked it in years, but it's a total joke that this is a prison worthy offense. Imagine, we have pot smokers in prison forever for their "third strike". They're taking a limited space that should be reserved for murderers, rapists, and pedophiles.

Imagine, we have pot smokers in prison forever for their "third strike"

Really?

Life for smoking pot?

Wow.

I need to write a letter to the editor about that--because that's fucking bullshit.

You're good with Google.

Can you find me some reference material that confirms instances of people spending the rest of their lives in prison for smoking a little weed?

We need to put a stop to this bullshit.

Imagine, we have pot smokers in prison forever for their "third strike"

Not in Ann Arbor.

The fine for being caught with a joint in public is less than a parking ticket - as it should be.

Also, the city police turn the other way every year during "Hash Bash". They have begun to crack down a bit on the "Naked Mile" though. Fucking liberals!

Dude, where do you think we used to go to get high?

Hash bash was fun. I think.

Mao- as long as the pot charge is a felony, it counts in the "3 strikes" law.

I have a real hard time with the notion that smoking pot is felonious.

Mao-

ERIC SCHLOSSER

It's a pretty large number, in the sense that, certainly, in the federal system, about one out of every six federal inmates is in federal prison for marijuana.

www.pbs.org

This was back in '97.

I have a real hard time with the notion that smoking pot is felonious.

Posted by JeffJ

so does Willie Nelson

www.youtube.com

Jeff- it's based on the amounts of marijuana you have when busted.

It's even crazier for acid. They have mandatory sentencing based on weight. The kid that used cardboard for acid got fucked by the system. Hard.

Let me go look for his name, see if dogpile can pick it up.

I believe it may be "MEIRL GILBERT NEAL" But he's not the only one that got fucked by this rule. He may not even be the kid I read about years ago...but it's the same story.

Personally, I could see pot being legalized.

However, that being said, there is something I would like to see happen.

I want to see more DUI testing by the police.

If they pull you over for any reason, "here blow in this".

I don't like the idea of people on the road under the influence. Not NEARLY enough is done to stop this, as far as I'm concerned.

And employers have the right to randomly test for drugs. If you come up positive, they should let you retest.

Sure, let drugs be legal but I want to see serious cracking down on people out in public high and being the wheel.
