This set off the already flabbergasted delegates. His first major gaff was during the US National Anthem when he stood with one hand over his heart and the other held his dick. Coments were to the affect,"Nothing new for Shrubbie">

George W. Bush went to Vegas on a presidential agenda. He took a break and walked over to a vending machine. He put a quarter in it and out popped a soda. He was so fascinated and excited, he kept putting in quarters and getting more sodas. His assistant tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Mr.President,it is time to go." Bush looked up in extreme shock and said,"Can't you see I'm winning?"

HI-LARIOUS!

Go GW!

Wow...he truly is retarded.

He's not retarded... we are.

He's done everything he intended to do since day one and we've allowed ourselves to buy into his lies about it because we couldn't accept what it truly meant for us otherwise.

cognitive dissonance... its a sonofabitch!

Fucking cunt.

Not WE sir. I voted for Kerry and Gore and if there was anything more I could have done to stop rain man from getting elected and re-elected, I would have done that also.

That's the Larry "Pontius Pilate" Mohr argument. At least he wrote his congressman.

But to ease your conscience a bit.... I was using the royal "we."

I never voted for Bush either.

If the shoe doesn't fit....

No, I understand what ya meant. It still blows me away how many still defend this moron.

"Kerry and Gore"

Now that is cracking a joke!

"His first major gaff was during the US National Anthem when he stood with one hand over his heart"

YEAH!

As if the National Song is equivalent to a "Pledge of Allegiance" ---- and the President of the USA is so Stupid he doesnt know the difference! Fuck thats EMBARRASSING!

I cant express in words how much I Hate People This Ignorant! He is a Polluter of Intelligence!

PAR FOR THE COURSE.

Bush Skank

A little joking around from George W. and the Old European Solialist leaders get uptight. If you stuck a pin up their asscheeks you couldn't pull it out with a tractor. George was just having fun with some libs like I do on DR.

Bush isn't blogging, and its not a party... his job is of critical importance not just to us, but to the world... we'd be better of if the punchlines just came from you and not him. But good of you to out yourself as a troll first and foremost. We thought you were actually expecting us to take you seriously.

Come on... that's pretty fucking funny...

Their assholes are so thight, you could slice washers off of them.

Thos ass-wipe G8 leaders are idiots if they were "flabergasted".

China and India are far worse than the good ole USA in pollution.

GW was playing into the LIE that these people (and DR libs need to believe in that the USA is BAD when in fact the OPPOSITE is true.

FACT!

He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

Pretty fly for a white guy.

Can you actually say that you are not polluting the environment? I didn't think so. Those that don't believe that man can have an impact on the environment are beyond stupid. Want proof? Take a gander at LA on a smoggy day, or worse: beijing.

My answer to boy dunder? Fuck you and your polluting country, hope your grandkids die of advanced asthma.

W is so sick of his job. He's so ready to quit and just spend his time riding bikes and lifting weights and cutting brush - stuff that requires not the least bit of thought. I'm glad this little incident happened - now I will quit worrying about whether he is planning a coup.

JAMES DEAN is an asshole!

But that's why its funny... those douchebags looking all shocked cuz he cracked a joke about all the whining the world does about us and our pollution... fuck them... I think this is hysterical.

Can you actually say that you are not polluting the environment? I didn't think so.

Posted by panchovilla

Everything polutes the enviroment stupid. The real question is, are we harming the environment?

The co2 we exhale as a polutant is taken in by plants and used, they exhale o2 as a polutant which we need.

NOW, the exhaust of a volcano is bad shit but we don't know how to stop that. Then again, it may be good for something.

I think this is hysterical.

But... you're Rob_The_A_Hole, lol... you're supposed to think its funny.

That doesn't actually make it funny. Ha Ha.

A) You're a buzzkill
B) We didn't kill a million people, or anywhere close to that number... muslims killed each other in Iraq and Afghanistan... If I woke up tomorrow and the Governor of Jersey and his government were gone, I wouldn't start killing every protestant I saw simply because they translated the Bible a little differently, like the Muslims in Iraq did... but then again, I'm not a Muslim, so this post was obvious.

Speaking of something you might think is funny, baby is backsliding on the sleep training. shit.

No dude, I'd never laugh at that... I got my ass kicked by her last night, and I have to drive to Central NY in 3 hours... SHIT, indeed.

I couldn't imagine anyone doing a worse job than Bush.

But this doesn't bother me. He made a joke and room full of stiffs were "shocked". Big deal.

I just wish Bush had the balls to give the finger to you stupid fucktards who think CO2 is a pollutant, yeah he may be stupid but not as stupid as you.

"""Everything polutes the enviroment stupid. The real question is, are we harming the environment? """

That's no longer a question, "stupid". Are you "cocktailing" early today?

At this point, Bush reminds me of a Senior in High School, who has already been accepted to college and doesn't give a shit about the last few months of school.

Pat Robertson, IF he believes in Global Warming is simply a Christian who is WRONG on this subject.

How can you fault Bush for calling these silly conferences what they are? A chance for government big-wigs to fly in on their giant jumbo jets, get ferried to the convention hall in stretch limos, then congratulate each other on how we're all a' doin' to save the environment from everyone else besides them. The fact that it gets the Redneckvilles of the world foaming at the mouth only makes it that much better.

I notice that those with the lowest IQs are the loudest deniers of Global Warming. Not surprisingly the majority also cheered on Bush in his Iraqi adventure. They probably are still cheering for that "great Bush economy" too. Mostly I choose to ignore their posts because they aren't really thoughts but just repititions of talking points they have heard on Rush's show or Sean's.
I think their choice of political position is made with the same resentment that made them hate all the smart kids in school.

When Bush turns over the keys to the big house to Obama at the inauguration I expect him to moon the country on national TV or at least flip us a bird as he strolls off the stage.

the_nether:

I guess it totally escapes your simple mind that Climate changes occur naturally AND by influence of mankind. The possibility of multiple simultaneous effects on a single system is just too much for you to process, huh?

To discount one cause for the exclusivity of another is truly ignorant and childish. A zillion things all come together to influence a system as complex as climate. So we fix (or should fix) those things we DO have control over.

Actually Donnerboy, there's no need for me to do anything. For a generation, people like you have said "no" to new coal plants, "no" to new drilling, "no" to nuclear, "no" to new electric plants, "no" to new pipelines, "no" to new transmission lines. Now, poor and middle-class people are being squeezed out of paying for the energy they need. You'll get your lower carbon emissions--not that it'll matter--by forcing poor people to give up their cars and vacations and plane rides and trucks and minivans and heating oil and air conditioning on hot days.

See? You did some good after all. And I hate traffic. Imagine how much better it'll be when the enviros have forced everyone off the roads who can't afford $7 gasoline.

Wow. I guess I'm an environmentalist too!

The problem as I see it is that we have a POTUS that seems bent on destroying America's standing, esteem and reputation. No matter your opinion on global warming this guy needs a shock collar with some bright aide in the wings to deliver a jolt if he even gives the appearance of misspeaking. That's assuming you could find a bright aide in this adminstration.

* * * *

Nope. Were we to completely implement the Kyoto Protocol, it would reduce worldwide temperature in 2100 by one tenth of a degree, at a total cost in the tens of trillions of dollars.

I'm not a gambler, but that sounds like a stupid bet to me. Environmentalists have always bemoaned that the US doesn't have soaring energy prices, like the much-more cosmopolitan Europeans. Well, now, we have them. Which will result in falling energy use by the poor and the middle class, and falling carbon emissions and all that jazz. So--you got what you've always wanted. People like you shouldn't complain about $4 gasoline, but should celebrate it, instead.

"Nah...just a wack job."

Ah, a wack job when he strays from the party line but imminently quotable when he parrots said line...classy you folks are.

That treaty was useless. The biggest polluters in the world were excused. Bush refusing to sign that piece of crap was like one of those two times a day a broken clock has the correct time.

HC,

It is depressing. If one of these yahoos and I'll include Obama in this, would step up and make that a national priority it would restore us to prominence in a very short time. Lot's a well paying American jobs, no oil imports. Then we could let other countries worry about Osama bin Missin' and terrorists.

Hey, a country with 5% of the world's population shouldn't be contributing 25% of the pollution.

We put a man on the moon in less than 10 years from scratch. We should be able to come up with alternative energy that's non polluting.

But, with secret Energy Policy meetings, and oilmen in the WH what should we expect?

If I recall correctly, one of Bush's first acts was to refuse to sign the Kyoto Treaty.

"In January 1992, while at a formal dinner in Japan, then president George Bush became ill, vomiting on the Prime Minister of Japan, Kiichi Miyazawa, then fainting."

Actually one of his first "acts" was to throw up on the Prime Minister of Japan symbolizing America's intentions to the whole world.

Instead, this administration has 'scrubbed' every report that indicated we're having problems with the atmosphere due to man made causes.

"Some plan would have been a welcome development."

Of course. As is true of every president during my lifetime and probably before (I don't know how long people have been talking about this but it has to be at least 30-40 years).

"Instead, this administration has 'scrubbed' every report that indicated we're having problems with the atmosphere due to man made causes."

A legitmate criticism. I'm not trying to defend the job these jagovs have done. They've screwed us in much bigger ways than having poor environmental policy. I'm just not going to use Kyoto as an excuse to bash them.

Carter tried. The right derided him. Reagan took the solar panels off the White House.

It's not like someone didn't try.

PS We only imported 30% of our oil from foreign sources when Carter took office. He TRIED to eliminate the need for foreign oil. They laughed at him. They built the Trans-Alaskan pipeline - saying it would eliminate our need to import that 30%. No sooner was it built than supertankers leaving Valdez were making right turns to Asia with that oil.

Sausage Stuffer Boy,

You're correct, Bush didn't grab Merkel's tit. The arrogant jackass placed both hands on the shoulder of a foreign leader and began to massage her. She recoiled in horror. Pretty much defines sexual harrassment.

All that aside, you should be bound with guitar strings, smeared with bacon grease and fed to Michael Vicks dogs for your continued vocal support of this national embarrassment.

You're correct, Bush didn't grab Merkel's tit.
-----------------------

^^^At least admits that he is a liar!^^^

FACT

By the way, it's largely a myth that we pump Alaska oil for the Asian market. Less than 4% of Alaskan oil EVER made it to Asia. Since 2000, only one single tanker. So do yourselves a favor and quit using a talking point that isn't true. Unless, of course, it's to promote an agenda of radical environmentalism. In which case, party on.

I need to check their success in resolving the US problems and how it got screwed up afterwards.

We still don't get any sort of market advantage. It's coming to us at the same market speculative driven price that we're paying for Saudi oil

Welcome to the commodities market. You think you get a break on your Wheaties, just because most of the corn is raised in Iowa? Because if the Swiss offer a higher price on a thousand bushels of corn, it's headed to Zurich.

It's funny how so many of the arguments you lefties recycle vis a vis Alaskan oil is what I hear when I travel overseas. Venezuelans, Saudis, even Europeans are upset as to how much of THEIR crude heads to the US, just because we enjoy a 50-bp price differential because the crude is benchmarked in dollars. And the "advantage" you enjoy is the same advantage you'll enjoy when the Chinese and the Cubans start drilling in the Gulf of Mexico: more supply will help bring down the price, all over the world.

But it shouldn't matter. You libs like high oil prices. Cleaner for the environment, puts more people onto trains and buses, saves the world from global warming, etc.

"lib" also just luv to hear the right (which always seems to get it wrong) tell them what they like.

Uh oh. I must be mistaken. Do you prefer cheaper gasoline, Donnerboy? Is that what you want?

What part of a REAL ENERGY POLICY do you not understand RiR?

Or are you really that dense?

I'd love a real energy policy. New nuke plants, new solar, new wind, and new offshore and Alaska drilling. I'd love to see enormous incentives to move most of our transportation system to the electrical grid.

Unfortunately, that ain't cheap. And it also ain't feasible with the current batch of enviros that petition and lobby every time you want to build new energy production. California and the Atlantic Seaboard groan right now--today--under the loads of air conditioners and computer servers, with rolling blackouts becoming more common. What would happen were LA to move twenty thousand transit buses to electrical power, without being able to build new plants?

Still--do you want cheaper gasoline? or not? Because although I'm only 40 years old, I've gotten a handle on how some of this works. If you have scarcity, the price goes up. If you have a surplus, prices go down. So if you want cheaper gas, you need to get more of it. How do you propose to do that?

boing => BE DOING

LOL!

so do you really think the only way to cheaper gasoline is MORE Drilling?

How naive can you be? And what the hell is your fixation with destroying ANWR?

What the fuck kind of Koolaid does Rush feed you Dittoheads anyway?

As an example of one way to "create" more gasoline without DRILLING in ANWR.

If we had increased our CAFE standards in 2005

The Center for Auto Safety has estimated that increasing CAFE standards for cars and light trucks by 60 percent (45 mpg for cars and 35 mpg for light trucks) by 2005 would result in a savings of three million barrels of oil each day, reduce hydrocarbon emissions by 500,000 tons, cut 140 million tons in greenhouse gas emissions each year, and, on average, save new car purchasers $3,000 in fuel costs over the life of the car. Public Citizen estimates that since 1975 the CAFE standards have saved consumers more than $30 billion annually.

Unfortunately the Bush Administration made sure this did not happen.

T. Bones Pickens is releasing his plan for energy, he says we have more dollars going overseas for oil than what the Irag war costs. This transfer on money is hurting us and he wants to find a way to end that. He was a major oil man so I am interested in what he says. Aren't you?
(leave right & left out of it, as he will)

ONNA

Add the $800,000,000,000 (billion) a year in trade deficits going to China, %700,000,000,000 (billion) a year for oil, the hundreds of billions in interest payments to our creditors, the Iraq War, etc and you're talking about a huge amount of money leaving every year.

so do you really think the only way to cheaper gasoline is MORE Drilling?

Nope. Your douchebaggery is getting the better of you again. There are a lot of ways to cheaper oil. Such as moving transportation onto the electrical grid. Such as more coal and natural gas. I don't have a "fixation" with destroying ANWR, inasmuch as I think a couple of derricks and facilities the size of a small elementary school to recover resources the size of Iowa could possibly "destroy" anything.

I do find it amusing, though, how ANWR--where NOBODY goes--is sacrosanct. But enviros just love the idea of taking tens of thousands of acres in the Nevada and California deserts and paving them over with solar panels. And of taking hundreds of thousands of acres up and down the Midwest and covering them with giant, 300-foot-tall windmills. Suits me, though. I don't understand the Earth First! crowd, but I'll call their bluff on the solar and wind, and say go ahead.

Not that I care, really. We have high oil and gas prices because we deserve them. And I can afford it at twice the price, without impacting the way I live one bit. Wonder how true that is of the millions of Obama voters that will be sending him to the White House.

Bush is really presidential, aint he?

Has he gone to any big summit/conference in the last 8 years where he hasn't made a jack-ass out of him self?

Has he gone anywhere without being a jackass?

What an embarrassing jerk!

This IDIOT should never have made it into the White House, and everyone I know from Europe thinks that Dubya is a dimwit. (Even the few European conservatives I know, who see the USA as a tough principled player setting a tough tone in contrast to Euro softness, think Dubya isn't so smart.)

Bush "ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter." He then punched the air while grinning widely".

Afterwards Bush was heard saying "Everything is different, but the same... things are more moderner than before... bigger, and yet smaller... it's computers... San Dimas High School football rules."
