It's easy - these guys are unlawful combatants captured on the battlefield in foreign countries fighting against the United States. I would've executed them on the battlefield as quickly as I could've extracted every last bit of information out of them. If they want a trial then all they should do is admit that they committed acts of terrorism against the US and take their medicine.
