Howard Wolfson, longtime strategist for Hillary Clinton, has joined up with Fox News. He describes his new employer's coverage of the primary season as "comprehensive, fair and even-handed". Uh-huh.

During the primary, the Obamasoft Network was even more blatantly biased than the Faux News Network, what with tingles running down Tweety's legs and D'ohbermann's bend over and spread moves.

Wolfson joins PBS' Juan Williams and perennial Dem Bob Bechel, giving a bit more "fairness" than we saw on the MS No Balls Corp channel.

It was often humorous, btw, watching both msnbc and cnn hedge and hedge and hedge before calling Dem contests that Clinton won, while Faux News, having no dog in that fight, beat them to the call almost every time.

Which is why both Lanny Davis and Wolfson noted their comparative "fairness".

Corky... wot was yer screen-name over at "Hillary is 44"?

C'mon, it's all over now ...you can tell us.

Be Well.

When did you become such a flaming Dethputz?

Never even visited that site, btw, since attempted personal ridicule in lieu of substantive argument is all you have these days.

Just toddle on off calling your opponents cunts and whores, and posting really lame photobucket pics. It's become more your "style".

Wow, Bitter much?

She lost, Corky.

It's over.

Let it go.

G08ama!

Be Well.

Wow, Stutter much?

I post a couple of times aimed at the thread topic and all I get back is ad hominem drivel.

He won. Now he's asking you, er, telling you, to bend over and spread 'em while he moves stage right.

Enjoy your "stall" position, oh Half-Baked One.

"all I get back is ad hominem drivel."

What's good for the goose....

And furthermore .... (laughs ass off! which is a funny concept in itself) ....

I remember as if it were yesterday, or the day before, that right after the first debate, Obambi released those "Bush-lite" and "untrustworthy" negative attacks, as I recall some of the very first of the campaign, which gave some people, specifically TR and you, the freedom to express yourselves in your own entirely imitable way, by calling a good Dem, Hillary Clinton, a cunt and a whore, and regurgitating 90's Rethug propaganda in a way that would have made Ken Starr proud.

So, to recap;

A. Fuck you, Buddy.

B.You guys are the reason I tuned Obama up so badly, albeit substantively, instead of in your ad hominem style. I saved that for those who decided attacking me would be fun.

C. Fuck you, Buddy. (as that cannot be said enough.)

D. I would bet that I have given more to Obama's campaign for President than you have.

btw, if Obama had held his current flipped positions on FISA and trade and guns and public financing in the primaries, he wouldn't be the nominee.

Clinton was at least more honest about her somewhat more centrist positions than was Obama, and liars often win.

Corky: Fuck you, Buddy

Spud: I'm not yer buddy, Guy!

Corky: I'm not yer guy, Friend.

Spud: I'm not yer friend, Buddy.

/With all apologies to South Park.

I would bet that I have given more to Obama's campaign for President than you have.

Technically, Spud can't contribute to Obama's campaign at all so if you gave him even a penny then yer doing better than Spud there.

btw, if Obama had held his current flipped positions on FISA and trade and guns and public financing in the primaries, he wouldn't be the nominee.

Not true.

First off, nobody gives a flying fuck about his position on public financing. That one was a no-brainer. He's never been anti-trade and now he wants to include progressive language and enviromental safeguards into already existing policies so wot's to dislike there?

Guns? The right have tried to back Barack into a corner vis a vis his stand on the Constitutionality of the Gun Bans in DC and Chicago. He's stated that the second ammendment "means something" beyond support fer state militias rights which means individual gun owners rights. Spud thinks his support fer the ludicrous gun bans has to evolve.

FISA? That really is his first big break with the left since he started campaigning.

Despite the fact that that he rightfully opposes retroactive immunity to the telcoms and insists that he's gonna "monitor" the program as POTUS, the fact that he's signed off on the legislation in order to fight the "soft on terror" meme spilling out of the GOPher camp is disconcerting to lefties such as Spud.

Given the legitimate threats we face, providing effective intelligence collection tools with appropriate safeguards is too important to delay. So I support the compromise, but do so with a firm pledge that as president, I will carefully monitor the program

Not enuff to make one think able Hillary's viability however.

Spud would much rather trust Obama to keep an eye on the situation than Hillary due to the fact that she is, by far, the more corporately beholden and untrustable candidate of the two.

Here it is expressed mathematically...

Obama > Hillary > Chia Pet > McCain > Bush.

If Hillary had won the nod she woulda had a much harder time inspiring the large voter turnouts and enthusiasm that Obama brings to the table.

Also, ...considering the fact that the vast majority of yer posts were slams at Obama rather than pro-Hillary pieces yer really the last motherfucker who should be whining about yer candidate being called names.

calling a good Dem, Hillary Clinton, a cunt

O Rly?

Don't think so.

Be Well.

- she is, by far, the more corporately beholden and untrustable (sic) candidate of the two.

You never learn, do you? Or do you really think taking money from lobbyists wives and lawyers is better than taking it from lobbyists?

Your poorly reasoned and wholly unsubstantiated caricature of Hillary as a corporate whore, or as something other than center-Left, is about as delusional as, oh, say, a talking potato.

-Also, ...considering the fact that the vast majority of yer posts were slams at Obama rather than pro-Hillary pieces yer really the last motherfucker who should be whining about yer candidate being called names.

When the Wee Tater grows into a Big Spud, it may well realize the difference between posting substantive articles from accepted sources, or offering criticism like calling him a cynical opportunist, as I did, with calling the other candidate whore or cunt, which I never did, and which you did ad nauseum. Much like you now attack one of the few half-way decent Repubilcans of the last quarter century.

Don't even try it, Spudley. There is a Google.

btw, if I were still speaking to your over-buttered, sour-cream covered ass, I would tell you that Jonathan Turley just dissed Obama on TV for his capitulation on eavesdropping, something that civil libertarians everywhere have every right to castigate him for.

But I'm not, so see A. and C.

i have a feeling she'z going to make a comeback - once she can keep nobama's plane in the air long enough...just sayin'...

Just tuning in to my daily dose of humor from you all... so funny to see each of you STILL burning the other at the stake!!!

ROFLMAO!!!!

Yes, Wolfson will be a nice, clear-thinking addition to ensure things remain "Fair and Balanced"...

Sorry that you all are so ticked off that you still can't see straight... no pun intended!

HILARIOUS!

Let's all just join hands and have a couple rounds of Kumbaya.

Life is too short to get worked up over politics.

More fake new in the USA! Censorship sucks!

Don't ever believe that the Clintons have given up. Obama better watch his back. Obama has only one good characteristic as far as I'm concerned, He's not a Clinton. But that is enogh.

I'd post, but this thread looks like a lovers' quarrel between Corky and DeathTurd.

Also, ...considering the fact that the vast majority of yer posts were slams at Obama rather than pro-Hillary pieces yer really the last motherfucker who should be whining about yer candidate being called names.

Oh snap!

Will there be s'mores?

Spud luffs s'mores.

On Topic?

Howard Wolfson (Blitzer's illegitimate luff-chile) is gonna step up to the plate over the Murdoch owned and Ailes operated Faux News in the same heady tradition as that of other liberal sacrificial goats, most notably Alan Colmes. In case you never heard of him before he's the guy who gets to cut to the commercials over at the HANNITY & colmes Programme (but only if he's been good)!

Looks forward to debating Rove does he?

We shall see.

Be Well.

Can someone explain to me why so many of these posts have blatant misspellings? I'm not sure if they're meant to be onomatopoeic of a certain dialect, but it's annoying.

Think of how it looks to people from other countries reading our news threads. Yeah, some of us still try to represent our Country in a positive fashion.

DIVIDED WE WILL FALL...

You libs are too funny. "Faux" news is so bad, yet they're beating the pants off of their competitors everyday. They must be doing something right, eh?

""Faux" news is so bad, yet they're beating the pants off of their competitors everyday"

Provided they don't count NBC, ABC, & CBS as their "competitors".

Apples and oranges, Danforth, and you know it.

"Apples and oranges"

Only when it's convenient to your point.

I have many times spoken up in defense of Alan Colmes, the most prominent Democrat on Fox News. I think there's some value in being willing to speak to the other side. Colmes gets a bad rap.

If Wolfson represents a strong Democratic viewpoint on Fox and doesn't buy into the BS that he has to moderate his views to please his producers, I have no problem with him working for the network.

Provided they don't count NBC, ABC, & CBS as their "competitors".

Don't forget Comedy Central and MTV

After being kicked out of first place by CNN in the first quarter, Fox News Channel climbed back to No. 1 in the second.

But that win is dampened by gains by both CNN and MSNBC. Each was up substantially in primetime ratings over first-quarter 2007, while Fox News slid.

Through March, April and May, FNC averaged 344,000 primetime viewers in the news-friendly 25-54 demographic, but it slipped 2 percent from the 352,000 it averaged in the year-earlier period.

Over those same months, CNN averaged 297,000 25-54s, up 22 percent from a year earlier. MSNBC saw even stronger growth, up 46 percent, from 185,000 to 271,000."

No, only when it's convenient to yours! You are trying to compare over-the-air networks to cable. How ridiculous.

"You are trying to compare over-the-air networks to cable. How ridiculous."

Well, then let's do all apples:

What percentage of American households get Fox?

Are the Fox News viewers comparable at that percentage?

-Colmes gets a bad rap.

He needs all the help he can get over there, and Wolfson should prove to be the smartest of the bunch, including Juan Williams and Bob Bechel.

He is someone with the wherewithal to stand up to Rove.

Who cares, the guy is only out to make a buck considering he took a big gamble on the wrong cow, oops, I mean horse.

All kidding aside, the other cable news networks are swimming with Democrat talking heads, maybe Wolfy can go toe to toe with MC Rove and teach him a thing or two.

I like Alan Colmes he's much better than Hannity.

I think Fox chose Colmes simply because he is creepy looking.

He SURE is!

FACT!

Fox covers what the liberal media gloss over or ignore --- that is why it appears as biased in the eyes of liberals and those brainwashed by them . Otherwise Fox has been fair in most of its coverage.

I trust Fucs News (and Corky) about as far as I can throw them.

IMO Fox was only "fair" to Clinton for one reason... the same reason that Rush Limbaugh had his legions of Dittos voted for Hillary in the primaries when they could.

And it had nothing to do with getting her elected.

They are both AFRAID of Obama and have no idea how to deal with him.
