Liz Sidoti: John McCain trails Democrat Barack Obama in polls, organization and money while trying to succeed a deeply unpopular fellow Republican in a year that favors Democrats. McCain also doesn't seem to have a coherent message let alone much of a strategy despite securing the nomination three months earlier than Obama.

Campaign burnout.

McCain?

Is that a new dessert from McDonalds?

Busy watching "Dancing at the Blue Iguana" no time for comment, sorry.

The article says McCain needs a theme if he's going to beat Obama.

Damn, that's a tough one. I'm trying but I can't think of a single thing.

No but Obama's Chicken for Breakfast is at McDonalds!

McCain has been smart to avoid over-campaigning whilst Hillary! and Osama were tearing each other apart.

Part of a political campaign is timing -- most people don't pay attention until at least September. This story comes up in every election year but pundits pretend it's a new idea because it's easy to write, and they can sound serious and important with no effort

ELECT NADER

As usual, the polls are being deliberately skewed by the left-wing media to create a false impression that the voters love Obama. Sure, he's a likeable guy, but when the time comes, I believe the American people will be smart enough not to elect a rookie to be our Commander in Chief.

You voted for Dubya TWICE did You not?? It seems You voted for a rookie to be Commander In Chief.

Larry

looks like the republican rookie is the boss of the republican experience

so the experience likes the republican rookies "good ideas"

nice try

LARRY

And a cowardly AWOL rookie at that ~ who took off at a dead run and hid behind his daddy's skirts for months until he could get cashiered out of the Texas Air National Guard.

Anybody who voted for THAT coke-head shouldn't be knocking Barack Obama.

Ain't that the truth. Hell the Republicans lost all right to criticise someones lack of experience. They voted for the most unqualified piece of shit in Our History.

Larry

Carter was the most unqualified.

McSame's theme-steal it from the Beatles
Lt. McSamesame's Losin' Votes Club Band

It was forty years ago today.
Johnny went to hanoi to say
He was a war crimnal
Now Dubya's his bestest pal

"Commander in Chief" experience can only be found in ex-Presidents. That being said, some people are more qualified than others to hold that position. Say what you want about Bush, but at least he had TANG experience and State of Texas governing experience. McCain served in the Navy and he has years of Senatorial experience. Other than being a junior Senator, what experience does Obama have?

On a side note, I heard about the following incident on the radio the other day. Not sure which network, but sixty-six service men were interviewed by a news reporter and asked for which candidate they would vote. Sixty said McCain, three said Obama, and three said Hillary. Can you guess which soldiers were shown in the report? Only the six that were going to vote for either Hillary or Obama. Can you say journalistic malpractice?

Say what you want about Bush, but at least he had TANG experience

we saw that on 9-11 when he cut and ran to Cornhole Nebraska. I'm not sure his experience going AWOl served America well-the results show up in the failures in Iraq and afghanistan.

As for McSame's experience-his delusional comments about the Iraq war being short, cheap, we'd be greeted as liberators and the shia and sunnis would be having kumbaya festivals show he was as clueless as Bush. His needing Joementum by his side wherever he speaks telling him what to say only indicates he's losing it.
we really don't need another four years of dumb-fuck Republicans losing wars, especially since "maverick" McSame wants Cheney in his Cabinet.

The article says McCain needs a theme if he's going to beat Obama.

Well, he's not gonna beat Obama in any event but Spud has come up with a theme fer ole Captain Flapcakes.

Be Well.

Actually, McSame has a pretty good stratergy. Be on both sides of every issue, depending on your audience. hard to nail jello to the wall.

CAN McCAIN WIN????

CAN McCAIN WIN????

depends on how many of his friends, the Colombians and Mexicans he can import before November.

**** Other than being a junior Senator, what experience does Obama have?

Are you the dumber of the BL2 twins?

Here you have it folks, an Obama voter. Hmmm, let me guess, you're in to that "Hope and Change" without worrying about "facts" such as the reason Obama didn't vote for the quagmire of Iraq? You know, that whole "You can't vote if you're not a Senator" thingy?

With retards like you voting Obama may actually have a chance.

Obama is like Carter, he means well but in a crisis couln't find his arse with both hands. He would be under his desk crying trying to call Rev. Wright.

Chair,
Skizz didn't say Obama voted for or against. He/she said he was too smart to vote for it.

Huuge difference. But don't "worry about the facts", if they don't support your fantasy that all Obama supporters are stupid. While some are (there are many Obamacans), most are everyday folk tired of the republican Bushit.

And as far as a McCain theme, anyone who doesn't think it will be terrorists, terrorists, terrorists, hasn't learned much.

Sure Tiger. If that helps you get through the day. Logic would say that the tard didn't know that Obama wasn't a Senator.

The reality is we'd never know if he would or wouldn't have. How convenient.
