I just finished watching the C-Span coverage of the committee investigation and all I can say is if that twerp attorney who represented Dumsfeld is any indication of the DOD attorneys, we are in such BIG trouble! This guy made Gonzalez look like an IBM memory bank! The only thing that surprised me is that he could recall his own name! "It happened 6 years ago" was his standard whine. Well, "it" was discussion of the torture of prisoners by AMERICA. You'd think the subject alone would have kept his attention and stuck in whatever passes for his brain! THIS is the calibre of legal minds our government relied on???? SHAMEFUL!

Something I wish the Kool-Aid drinkers around here would keep in mind is the SERE tactics that were approved for use against our prisoners were actually used to instruct our military personnel to endure and resist ILLEGAL TORTURE TACTICS that would be used on THEM by an enemy that would not abide by such warfare restrictions as the Geneva Conventions! SERE used those tactics as demonstrations of what EVIL people might do to our servicemen and women! And THOSE are the tactics our government approved for AMERICANS to use!!!! We became the enemy!
