we can never "win" in Afghanistan as long as the enemy can attack, then flee for their safe havens in Pakistan. We should have cleared them out 5 years ago..Anybody that thinks otherwise is nuts.

You might be surprised to know that most Taliban do not cross the border into and out of Pak. They are fine inside Afghanistan as they were never removed because 99% of them disguised themselves as civilians.

See recent afghan jailbreak. Those guys didn't come across no border. LOL

Sad fact is nobody can kill the Taliban unless they start killing afghan civilians by the tens of thousands. Forget the Pak border.... that is just a trickle compared to the "hidden element".
