Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Goldman Sachs has given more money to Obama then any other member of both the House or Senate. Goldman Sachs has made huge profits in both the oil and sub-prime melt down crisis. Speculative commodity investments could make up 60% of oil prices today and Goldman Sach is the major player, making windfall profits, while are gas prices rise.

Why does Obama single out Exxon like a criminal in this crisis when it may be his #1 contributor (Goldman Sachs) that could be the real blame. Perhaps the nearly $700,000 Goldman Sachs has given Obama has blinded his perception of the facts.

Nothing you can say can get through to Obamorons. They never looked at the facts. Obama also voted for Bush's energy bill. What do they care as long as precious won the nomination? If you are hoping for an intelligent retort from them, you have to wait another hundred years ...

Changegirl your right about these Obama supporters they see glitz and are blind to facts. All you hear is how great a speaker Obama is like it is the only qualification you need to be President.

Whoo-hoo!!!

Lamegirl's back!

What's shakin', biatch?

Uh-oh...lame girl and shitonamerika are teaming up...all hell's gonna break loose....

Dave why don't you go to an Obama rally while us adults talk about the real issues.

Obama also voted for Bush's energy bill.

* * * *

I actually didn't know that--had to go to Google to double-check.

Well, since I haven't heard Obama apologize for it, it must mean he stands by his vote. Which is funny, since now he's calling for a windfall profits tax on the very companies his vote once benefitted.

Go figure. Obama just can't seem to stay true to his friends.

"...us adults..."

FF fer shitonamerika.

Goldman Sach is the major player, making windfall profits, while are (sic) gas prices rise

Yes, Goldman Sachs is a major contributor to the Obama Campaign.

All politicians are corporate whores to one degree or another or they wouldn't be allowed to run.

No angels in this campaign. That's a fact.

That sed, when you compare the two contenders fer POTUS side by side it becomes increasingly obvious that McCain by pursuing a third term fer BushCo's policies would be an economic nghtmare fer America's economy which is already dangerously destabilised thanx to "Borrow and Spend" Bush who never met a tax cut fer the wealthy that he didn't luff.

ReportonAmerica is merely another astroturfing Obama-hater who (much like Changegirl) is out to sow seeds of dissent while downplaying the serious lack of character or sound policy in their candidate.

Y'all make it sound like McCain is totally innocent of having any corporate campaign contributors himself.

Not true.

An examination of campaign contributions by individuals from the oil and gas industry by the Center for Responsive Politics reveals that of the current candidates, McCain has been the largest recipient of their largesse. So far, they have given him more than $404,000 for his presidential campaign. This figure is significantly higher than their contributions to Clinton ($309,363) and Obama ($222,309). In fact, nearly 70 percent of the industry's donations in the 2008 White House race have gone to McCain and other Republicans.

Hence the open ended commitment in Iraq.

Nice try, Rip On America.

Be Well.

If you are hoping for an intelligent retort from them, you have to wait another hundred years ...

Wait until McCain sez it's safe to pull out of Iraq?

That's too long!

Spud wants to retort now.

Here's an idle thought ...when is Changegirl gonna stop pretending to be a Hill Shill and show her true colors as a Operation Chaos bloghack fer the GOPhers?

Be Well.

Go figure. Obama just can't seem to stay true to his friends.

"They weren't who I thought they were".

Signed,

Obama

You Obama supporters need to get some new slogans. Bash Bush, Mccain is the third term, Tax breaks for the rich, etc, etc, etc.

The topic at hand is that Obama wants to make "Big Oil" the anti-christ, and never says anything about his benifactor Goldman Sachs which is the real demon, raising oil prices, and making windfall profits, thru corporate loopholes he never tried to close.

Despite a 2006 Senate report that identified these loopholes, that allows Goldman sach to make windfall profits, Obama never attacks GS and instead plans to put a windfall profit tax on the oil companies. Why has he never proposed legislation to stop Goldman Sachs from making windfall profits or inflating our oil prices thru speculation? Why was Goldman Sach allowed to profit from the credit crisis when Obama was in the Senate?

Obama is not for change he is for corruption with his assorted cast of characters that surround him, Obama will be the Hugo Chavez of the U.S.

Cherchez l'argent.

pouvoir de l'argent (Power of Money)

Obama's friends at Goldman Sachs are tanking the economy by spiking oil prices.

Is this to help him get elected or are they just greedy and the giving him the contributions are to keep him quiet while the rest of us suffer?

Either way Obama is as corrupt as anyone in Washington. He's bought and paid for like the rest of the politicians there.

Bee Swell

Funny as hell.
It was BUSH's bill, but lets rip on Barak cause Bush is a lame duck. Lets pretend we havn't been kissin W's ass and 'Ooo and Ahhhhing' at every
stupid policy he and his criminal cabal came up with for the last 7.5 years.

OH YEAH, That will be your winner in the GE.

Play that, why doncha. Cant wait to watch that dog hunt.

Ir REPORTONAMERICA a regular Drudge poster or just another one of these shills for McCain???
I don't think new posters should be allowed to put up threads until they have posted here for a while.

Actually, Goldman Sachs is a top 5 contributor to all 3 of the candidates.

$474,428 to Obama
$426,100 to Clinton
$104,950 to McCain

www.opensecrets.org

But Guess who their golden boy is, who get's more money from Goldman Sach then any other Senator or Representative on the hill? OBAMA

How about another connection to the mortgage/finance industry his buddy Countrywide Financial co-founder Angelo Mozilo.

His buddy made sure Obama gets a sweet deal on a loan. Must be nice to have friends in high places with power and influence while Obama get's joe six-pack to think he is for the little guy.

Oh and who does he get to work on his VP search?
"former Fannie Mae CEO Jim Johnson has accepted Obama's request to begin a screening and selection process for the No. 2 spot."

This is not Change Obama.

Neither Mccain or Obama will serve our country any good. We need a man or woman that will bring us back to our consitutional roots and downsize government to serve the people at the local level.

You Obama supporters need to get some new slogans. Bash Bush, Mccain is the third term, Tax breaks for the rich, etc, etc, etc.

If they weren't true-we wouldn't be saying them.
You may not like it-since it shows up your side of the aisle for the charlatans they are-but-if you don't like that-don't bitch at US for what the people YOU vote for do. Vote for someone else!
