Yes the "glass ceiling" still exists and needs to be broken down. And men still make more money than women in many jobs. But many of those jobs which pay more are jobs women physically are unable to do so the men who work in them should get more money. I do not believe in affirmative action anymore. It has served its usefullness. And the only one who uses the antiquated term "feminazis" is the pompous idiot Rush Limbaugh.

I got an email today from NOW asking me if I wanted to send a thank you note to Hillary, which I did. You could either send the note they had written or add your own. I added my own and thanked Hillary for supporting Obama today. I told her Democrats needed her help and the help of her supporters in November and wished her good luck in her future endeavors. And, yes, she did run an historic campaign, one that will pave the way for future generations of women, who will benefit from her perseverance and who can learn from her mistakes.

Her campaign was messy, and it made some fatal tactical errors. But nobody who sent her a donation could accuse her of not giving them their money's worth.

Her personally? No.

Hillary was a hard campaigner.

She gave it everything she had and nobody can accuse her of shirking or giving up cos the going got tough.

That sed, she wasn't really getting any bang fer her buck with the insane amounts of money she was paying to her top staffers and managers, people like Mark Penn and Patti Solis Davis et al.

They also made some serious miscalculations along the way.

The "Hillary Shreds" vid aka "The Band" was so out of touch it was excruciatingly painful to watch.

Mind numbingly so, in fact.

End of day, the people wanted change and in Hillary people saw the status quo.

There's never been any doubt in Spud's mind that a woman can be at least as effective a leader as a man if not more so.

America is long over-due fer a woman POTUS.

Anyone who hasn't noticed the real gains Hill has made fer future lady pols with her hard fought high intensity campaign is an individual who simply hasn't been paying attention.

There may have not every been a woman as president but I doubt if this were a Black woman running, you nags would not be at all upset cause you are racist nags.

She dominated most of the contests since everyone said she should bow out and still had to bow out because it wasn't enough - proving those who told her to quit earlier right.

She didn't "win" anything. She just made sure the other guy has no shot so that the spot will be up for grabs again in four years.

Hillary will not be the Democratic candidate for president in 2012. Write it down and get back to me in 4 years.

It goes to show that the White House does not belong to the Clintons or the Bushes. I declare the end of these two clans never to hold the Presidency again. Ever.
