Depending on how you interpret some tax codes, truck drivers passing through town are tax cheats. True, Franken should have filed the taxes, but with 1099s sent to the taxpayer and the feds but not the state (unless taxes are withheld), it's easier to overlook. That is a complete misunderstanding of the American political system. If a voter wants to see an agenda fulfilled then voting for the Party is the only real way to make that happen. An individual's adherance to the platform of the party should be one of the most critical considerations when nominating. People who say "I vote for the person, not the party" massage their own egos but inadvernently hinder their own chances of seeing their own agenda furthered. Individuals don't pass legislation, elect leaders, form majorities.

The free flow of information allows Americans to learn about the views of all candidates and vote for the one whose views most closely represent their own.
