I said yesterday with regard to Hillary conceding: I'll believe it when I see it. I still haven't seen it, and that doesn't surprise. It is all about her and her ego. She can't take no for an answer. She has been looking forward to being the first female president for years. That would have fulfilled her political ambitions and made up for everything she went through during her husband's administration. If she doesn't get to be VP, she will have to go back to being a senator from NY, which for most people would be rewarding enough, and President's wife, which she has mixed feelings about to say the least.

Guess this Hillary/Obama tug of war is not over yet.

That's standard operating procedure, Chris. tHey refer to McCain as the "presumptive nominee", too, since it's not official until the convention.

Gal- I just posted this very same thought on the "Clinton throws in the towel" thread.

Just like you I said I will believe it when I see it. Let's just hope what she throws in really is a towel and NOT the kitchen sink....again!
