President Bush broke his promise to the country by refusing to fire aide Karl Rove for leaking a CIA agent's identity, said Scott McClellan, the president's chief spokesman for almost three years. "I think the president should have stood by the word that we said, which was that if you were involved in this in any way, then you would no longer be in this administration. And Karl was involved in it," McClellan said.

And Charlie McCarthy should have fired Edgar Bergen.

I wish one of the pundits would ask McClellan about the rectangular shaped thing hidden under Bush's coat jacket back during the first debate with Gore (I think).

Nope. Kerry.

Ok, but still I would like to know what it was from someone who should definitely know.

Danni,
Yeah me too. We all know what it was, just would love, love, love to "discover" what we knew all along.
I've never been a guy to brag about my intellect, but, to my dying day, I will console myself that I and many others like me immediately knew that W and his propaganda catapolting cabal were spewing B.S. From the start.
That alone makes us smarter than every righty who ever posted.

For those who didnt see this bill of goods for what it was...you cant say we didnt tell you.

And the Bozo fired his tailor to splain everything.

Too stupidfunny for words.

Yo, me pundit, that was his dildo !

And Bush is living proof that losing debates doesn't mean squat.

Well, this is certainly true when you get your ass handed to you, but the supposedly "liberal media" calls it a draw. After watching Gore make Bush look silly in 2000, then waking up to read in the papers that the debate was a draw, I knew the fix was in.

damn. I THOUGHT McClellan AND Rove WERE LOVERS...

"And Charlie McCarthy should have fired Edgar Bergen."

Okay, Zatoichi- who's going to clean all this Diet Coke and snot off my monitor?

"Bush is a child of privilege, indifferent to human suffering, energized by a deep cruel streak, dangerously affected by religious delusions, contemptuous of ideas and intellectuals, disdainful of international law, still at large and dangerous as he plans an unjustifiable assault on Iran. Instead of depicting the Iraq War as an act of criminal aggression McClellan does the administration a big favor by merely terming it a "strategic blunder.""

Gary Leupp @ Counterpunch

At least Reagan had the foresight to know Rove was a douchebag and promptly fired his ass for leaking information.

Scott, we concur.

"I've never been a guy to brag about my intellect, but, to my dying day, I will console myself that I and many others like me immediately knew that W and his propaganda catapulting cabal were spewing B.S. From the start."

you and i along with some others.
i saw this writing on the wall from miles away and couldn't figure out why no one else could see it, let alone read it.
smart?
intuitive?
i take no solace in either.

all the best

refusing to fire aide Karl Rove for leaking a CIA agent's identity,

I didn'tknow Rove did that. I thought that was done by Powel and his buddy Dick. Wasn't this all thrashed over and over a while back?

On February 12, 2007, Bob Woodward testified that "former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage disclosed the identity of a C.I.A. agent to him in June 2003, but that I. Lewis Libby Jr. said nothing about the agent when Mr. Woodward talked to him two weeks later,"

Yes Mr.McClellan tell us now what the Righteous should do!

Just like McClellan "should have" been a patriot! Just like he "should have" come forward years ago and gone public with info on the Bush Govt's treasonous corruption!
But the only "should have" that ever entered McClellan's lizard brain was the thought theat he "should have" made some big money out of that heinous corruption, just like Bush/Cheney and their corporate accomplices have! Watch out McClellan your life ain't worth a plug nickel now to your fellow and revengeful White House snakes!

The righties are all tweaked because he exposed their bullshit.

They lend credence to his allegations by not refuting them and instead calling him a traitor.

"President Bush broke his promise to the country by......"

This could be a game.

Example: President Bush broke his promise to the country by taking his oath of office.

'I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.'

That rectangular-shaped thing Bush hid under his shirt for Kerry's debate has all the makings of a mystery that will last decades.

That there hasn't been resolution of this issue after four years may bespeak how significant that strange artifact was.

I've heard two theories:

1) It was a communication device Bush used to cheat with during the debates.

2) It was a medical instrument intended to mitigate some symptoms of a recent stroke.

'W' should have submitted Rove's dismissal along with his own resignation...he has brought this nation nothing but embarrassment and lack of credibility on the international front, as well as on the domestic issues... it only goes to show that any 'bubblehead' from lineage as his has to show no intelligence nor compassion for the electorate to get to the oval.. it also goes to show a large part of the electorate are not too concerned about their vote for President.. and, we have another group coming behind him who will show their own lack of intelligence and vote for Obama..

As to the rectangular-shaped object under his shirt for the debate, it was probably his 'candy' box, which he needed to get up the nerve to show..!!

They ALL should be at The Hague for War Crimes and instead of My earlier thought on Punishment being life without parole I'd make these SOB's go to Iraq and fix the mess that they made personally. No Secret Service protection no US Military protection. I would hand each one of these assholes a Hammer and shovel and say get busy.

Larry Mohr

Amen...Mohr...but, you have to realize that all of these 'chicken shits' never had to really worry about war anyway...does not affect them and they certainly do not care about anyone else... it's all about 'collaterl damage' to them... they all make OBL look like a rookie priest...

McClellan thinks GWB should have fired Rove? Geez, who does McClellan believe actually is in charge over there? GWB? Hahahahahahaha. GWB always has been just a puppet controlled by the right.

Libs love traitors.

Bush should have fired McClellan sooner. He was and is a WHIMP!

Bush should have fired McClellan sooner. He was and is a WHIMP!

No kidding. He got the shit kicked out of him by a pretzel.

Libs love traitors.

Ollie North and G. Gordon Liddy are Libs? Funny how all the big traitor sell-outs show up on the right.

I would hand each one of these assholes a Hammer and shovel and say get busy.

Jawohl! Tie them together with a big rope, fly them to just outside the Green Zone, and then cut the rope.
