More than 31,000 scientists across the U.S. including more than 9,000 Ph.D.s in fields such as atmospheric science, climatology, Earth science, environment and dozens of other specialties have signed a petition rejecting "global warming," the assumption that the human production of greenhouse gases is damaging Earth's climate.
"There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate," the petition states. "Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth."

Both Boxer and World Nut Daily need to clarify their definition of "scientist". How many scientists who specialize in climatology of one sort or another agree that the causes of climate change having nothing to do with human actions? Not very many, I would guess.

When somebody gets round to analyzing World Nut Daily's 31,000 scientists how many are going to be dentists, psychiatrists or undergraduates? What disclipines were all those Ph. D.'s earned in? Are they working scientists?

World Nut Daily is a propaganda outlet for right wing extremists. The Republican Party looks moderate and even the Bushies look not too bad when you compare them to those nutjobs.

The Majority of climatologists who are working for a living also do not believe the global warming hype. The majority of meteorologists also do not believe in the hype. They can't predict the weather next week much less next year or the next decade. Many climatologists have already lost their jobs only because politicians disagreed with them. Do a little research of your own for a change. Stop listening to the left wing talking points and stop taking them as facts.

all of you should read the latest krauthammer. he tells it the way I have wanted to express and he starts off like this.

that speaks for me on this issue. you just CANT see a cover from newsweek that declares the debate is over. and krauthammer uses a good example to talk about this.
