Former President Bill Clinton said Saturday that a victory by his wife in next month's Democratic primary in Montana could force party leaders to reassess her bid for the presidential nomination. "She can still be nominated. Don't let anybody kid you," Clinton said as the crowd of several hundred cheered. "All these superdelegates that have said they're for this one or that one or the other, they can all flip."

Lighten up Bill, there are young women available outside of the WH.

Of course Hillary can win but it appears that Obama's lead is not going to be overtaken. I believe that either one would make a better President than McCain.

The next President will be a Democrat, an they will have to really to do something about the Economy because Fox News and the Fox Business Channel will all of a sudden after January 20, 2008, find other reasons for the decline of the Economy other than 9/11.

Barack "The Magic Negro" Hussein Obama Bin Laden would beg to differ...

McSame's Crowd: Cancelled due to lack of interest.

Bill's Crowd: Couple o' hundred.

Obama's Crowd: 50,000!

Do the math, retards!

Like what? Perhaps lowering our taxes (or at least, not raising them) to stimulate the economy may be a good start. What do you suggest, Celisary?

I believe if a Democrat wins the White House, with their propensity for raising taxes, the economy will tank.

- because it's doing so well now with Bush at the helm. Blind, deaf, and dumb.

Actually I like the idea of lowering taxes for companies that invest in America and increase the number of jobs. When you consider that a self-employed person starts out paying 15+% in FICA and Medicare from dollar one, and that only raises the cost of their product or service, and or lowers the rate of pay for their employees, we need a different schedule for income taxes.

Probably the dumbest thing is to tax US companies that are involved in public works projects as that only raises the cost of the contract, or limits the work that gets done.

I NO LONGER WANT HER. STEP DOWN GRACEFULLY HILLARY.

Repube 4 ever,
Do any of you rightwingers remember that the Dems balanced the fucking budget ...are you all 10 years old and cant remember that that horrible Bill Clinton had a balanced budget.

Howd your fuckin guy do?

Repub presnit, repub congress, repub SCOTUS, and your guys screwed the pooch on everything.

We saw how you do it, and yer not that good.

Snark, just wait. If you want to see bad, then elect a Democrat. Can you say Jimmy Carter? He was the last Democrat President with a Democrat majority in Congress. And look now, the Democrats once again control Congress, and our economy is already declining.

"(Jimmy Carter) was the last Democrat President with a Democrat majority in Congress."

Wrong.

"And look now, the Democrats once again control Congress, and our economy is already declining."

Guess what, R4E: They weren't called Congressvilles, they were called Hoovervilles. A President, especially one with a filibuster-proof minority and a veto pen, deserves the nod, good or bad. It wasn't the Dems who increased the debt burden 50% in one administration. That would be the Republicans.

Alright, Danforth, you got me on that one. I overlooked Clinton's Democrat majority in Congress. Even so, it was only during the first two years of his administration.

We can grow out of our debt burden, but we must have a robust economy to do so.

"Even so..."

Even so, you were wrong.

"We can grow out of our debt burden..."

Can you find one respected economist who agrees with you? I can't.

REPUBLICIAN4EVER....In my State there are 35,000 new forclosed homes, regular gas is selling at the average for $4. a gallon an you think that the policies of the Republican Party needs to continue???? You are even more fucking stupid than I even taught....

This Recession is being driven by the cost of Fuel, back in 1978 Jimmy Carter warned our Country that we were to dependant on foreign OIL. Does that sound familiar????? President Carter, had solar panels put on the White House to hopefully make it clear to the general public that he was serious.

Soon after Ronald Reagans election, this moronic fuck, had the Panels removed. Once again proving that he may have had brain problems before his illiness was made clear to the public. 28 years later you dumb fucks still want to bring Carter into the blame game, again Jimmy Carter was to damn honest to have been President......

We are not going to let you fucking Assholes drill in San Francisco Bay or our National Parks get over it it will not happen...

And look now, the Democrats once again control Congress, and our economy is already declining.

Yeah, I'm sure that the war in Iraq and the trillion dollars we borrowed from China have nothing to do with that!

Solar panels on the White House. Solar panels on the White House. Reagan had them removed. So what, celery? Do you really think solar panels on the White House could save that much energy? Get real!

We are not going to let you fucking Assholes drill in San Francisco Bay or our National Parks get over it it will not happen...

Of course you won't. That would spoil you little "we are dependent on foriegn oil and it's Bush's fault" whine fest, wouldn't it celery? Whiners like you depend on negativity to thrive.

"We are not going to let you fucking Assholes drill in San Francisco Bay or our National Parks get over it it will not happen..."

Well, if you want for us to lower our dependency on foreign oil, then from where do you suggest we get it? Until such time that gasoline is no longer the fuel of choice, oil is a necessity. You libs whine about our dependency, yet fight any and every effort to remedy the problem.

"Do you really think solar panels on the White House could save that much energy? Get real!"

Depends...do you believe in the President setting an example and using the bully pulpit? For God's sake, one President stopped wearing a hat, and sales of hats plummeted.

Of course it goes beyond the meager savings of a few solar panels. Get real.

Goatman has never grasped the meaning of "get real" AKA "reality"

Carater also banned wine in the White House. Wine consumption rose.

www.wineinstitute.org

Your point, danforth?

"Your point, danforth?"

Apples and oranges. We're probably not consuming too much wine for our national security needs.

What message, exactly, was Reagan trying to put forward?

Goatman has never grasped the meaning of "get real" AKA "reality"

Danforth (and you by the followup snarky comment, sitdown) seem to think that we americans are slaves to what the president does. We are not.

BTW, solar panels are pretty expensive things. But yet you still think that because a man who can spend other other people's money (the taxpayers) thinks that everyone is going to start spending their own to install them. Sure, if I can get taxpayers to install solar panels on my home, I'd go for it too!

Tell me again about this "reality" concept, sitdown? I think it is you who needs a dose of it.

Being originally from Montana, and having just been there a couple of weeks ago, I really do not think Hillary is going to win there.

What message, exactly, was Reagan trying to put forward?

What message was Carter trying to put forward? "I'll have taxpayers put up solar panels on my house, now you guys spend thousands of your own money putting them on yours."

Great message, Jimmuh

I don't know what Reagan's message was. I don't know. If he was a live I'd ask him. It certainly could not have been any more unrealistic than Carters!

Apples and oranges. We're probably not consuming too much wine for our national security needs.

It was not an A&O comparision. You implied that the president is a trend setter. I proved he is not.

"...seem to think that we americans are slaves to what the president does."

Nonsense. I just believe, and history has borne me out, Presidents have a lot of sway with the populace. Removing the solar panels said to the country "we don't have to worry about stuff like that".

Reagan also ignored Carter's clarion call to wean ourselves off foreign oil, as did the Dems who blocked US exploration.

Nonsense. I just believe, and history has borne me out, Presidents have a lot of sway with the populace.

How long were the solar panels on the White House, Danforth? Did sales of them go up during that time? When Reagan had them removed, did sales of them go down?

If you can provided data to support this, you have a valid point. Otherwise, it simply appears you, celery, and sitdown are using Reagan as a whipping boy for the Nation's energy woes because he took down solar panels off the White House -- an absurd concept at best.

From this morning's Billings Gazette...

HELENA - Barack Obama has a big lead over Hillary Rodham Clinton in Montana's June 3 Democratic presidential primary, a Gazette State Poll shows.

Obama leads Clinton by 52 percent to 35 percent among likely Democratic voters, with 13 percent undecided in the poll, which was taken May 19-21. The Democratic primary portion of the poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

BILL, RUN WHILE YOU CAN... she `s not going to win the presidency with 21 million dollars in debt and no pussy is worth 21 million dollars....

no pussy is worth 21 million dollars....

You're forgetting all those legal fees he had in the 90s. Left office how much in debt? Hahahaha

an absurd concept at best.

Actually solar demonstration projects were exhibited in the western states. I managed a greenhouse that used passive solar as an auxilliary heating source. After Reagan got in the interest went down, but that was also because of the deal cut with the arabs to lower the price of oil.

Personally I don't know how anyone could defend that asshole. Before the end of his term drilling was at a standstill. The US oil business went from boom to bust. Of course you can blame that on Bush if you like, but Ronnie was the prez.

Bill is as delusional as his wife.

Once again, Legio is a typical example of how many of you on the left can't have a debate without throwing names and or insults in our direction.

OK, so it takes 15 years to bring a major oil field online. We would be reaping the benefits of ANWR by now had Bill Clinton not vetoed the legislation. We've got to start going after our own resources if we want energy independence. Why can't those of you on the left understand that? Thanks to the liberals and their anti-drilling mentality, they've helped to create the mess we are currently experiencing. I hope you enjoy paying four dollars per gallon of gasoline.

Sure, we can talk alternate sources of energy, but the reality is we don't have one that's cost effective yet. And, it's not going to be created by government. It will be developed by private enterprises. At $120 per barrel of oil, discoveries of alternate sources may be on the horizon.

I received an e-mail from a friend.

I'd like to share it.

A little over one year ago, consumer confidence was at a 2.5 year high, regular gas was $2.19 a gallon, and unemployment was 4.5%.

Remember the election in 2006? Since voting in a Democratic Congress, consumer confidence has plummeted, gas is $3.50 a gallon and rising, and unemployment is 5%.

Way to go Democrats.

The idiot Reagan gutted fusion research.

"The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates that if the green light is given it would take 7 to 12 years to sell leases, do permitting, environmental reviews, etc. and that initial production could start in 2010 at the earliest. Assuming an optimistic scenario in which the mean expected technically recoverable oil in the entire coastal plain (not just the 1002 area) - 10.3 billion barrels - could be completely recovered (i.e. ignoring market pricing) the EIA estimates production of 600 million barrels a year. In comparison, US daily consumption is 18.5 million barrels a day, or 6,752 million barrels a year. Thus in this scenario ANWR, once on tap, would provide less than 9% of US annual usage (given that usage is trending upward..). Assuming a less positive scenario, at a market price of $24/barrel the mean estimated commercially recoverable oil is 5.2 billion barrels, and since the oil is in multiple plays rather than one large play the costs of exploting the oil will be higher."

www.sibelle.info

ANWR is a complete waste of time.

People, all you need to do is check the latest polls in all the states; those that were red in 2004 are still red. Translation: McCain wins. Hillary cannot win and neither can Obama. It is way too late in the game for either side to make nice with the other.
