Is heaven segregated or has it been integrated? If so, when?

I'm sure that all those plaintiffs are rolling over in their graves when they see what the Black community has done with the educational opportunity that the plaintiffs fought so hard for in 1954. I agree with Bill Cosby's assessment.

How do they do it at your school? Oh, that's right, you're really not a teacher. Ok.

If I remember my con law classes, the promise of brown sidestepped the real issue. the justices emphasized the importance of an integrated school community, a value in its own right to be sure, over the importance of being sure that all children have access to a good education. All Brown did was accelerate white flight from the cities, and the problems got worse.

Integration doesn't mean so much to me if I can't guarantee my child a good education. And I don't know how great a thing it is if my child has to go to school with children who hate and ridicule her every day.

And I don't think that bussing was a great idea. Imagine if they tried to do that in the reverse, bussing white children to the black schools? I mean if integration was the penultimate goal, why didn't that ever happen?

I guess my point is that there is more than one way to be separate, and Brown showed us how that could happen.

Libs always talk about "White flight" after forced busing but ignore the fact that the Black middle class left too. Now the inner cities are packed with the poor and working classes who give lip service to education but in reality don't value it at all. Studying hard is "acting white". Pumping money into these cesspools hasn't helped either. Libs have run out of ideas in their quest to reconstuct society, but they have suceeded in destroying the black family structure and the inner cities.

People tend to self-segregate these days but at least it is voluntary rather than mandated by government which is a HUGE difference.
