There is merit in that - imo, Obama is protected due to this very threat. I'm curious what arguments Reverend Farrakhan will use to encourage American Black Muslim to vote. He thought an NRA group would appreciate a joke about someone taking aim at a black man.

I listened to Mike Huckabee on the stump and on TV debates and respected him up until yesterday. There is no place for jokes about "someone aiming a gun and trying to shoot Barack Obama". He is a black man and Huckabee being a minister and a man of God apologized later for being offensive but he apparently knew what he was saying and to incinuate the assainination of Barack Obama would make the NRA feel better is about as low as I have heard in politics this season whether from right wing radio, the republican network FOX or anywhere else.
The ganging up of McCain,Huckabee,Romney and Carl Rove at the NRA was unforegiveable.
