Burma's ruling junta warned Thursday that legal action would be taken against people who trade or hoard international aid as the cyclone's official death toll soared to 43,318, an increase of almost 5,000 from a day earlier, but still far below U.N. and Red Cross estimates. The number of people listed as missing remained at 27,838.

Burma's ruling junta are hardly the ones to declare they would take legal action against people who hoard international aid when it's the Burmese ruling junta themselves who are the ones stealing the foreign aid and food supplies and giving it to their military instead of to the starving people of Burma.

Another vicious storm is expected to hit and these people are desperate and dying. I don't know why other major countries like the U.S. and European countries are not forcing the Burmese officials to hand out these needed supplies before thousands more die -- even if we have to go in there and hand out the supplies ourselves.

The government faces a conflict with the people. The Burmese Army's primary enemy is the people of Burma.

Liberation, spreadin' democracy, taking down vicious dictators... anyone? anyone?

*1-2*1-2* Is this mike on?

I guess Burma is another country that is all rock and can't produce enough food for their people.

I guess their government is goint to bring the law down on the army there. That should be fun to watch.
