Well Barry has to get going since he doesn't have much time to campaign in those 57 states before the election... He needs to get there before McCain, after all, though McCain may just concentrate upon the 50 states that actually are in the USA...

Seriously, though I rarely listen to El Rushblow for amusement any more he did make an interesting remark... there ARE 57 states, in the Islamic world!

So perhaps Barry forgot which of his constituencies he was speaking about....

If Obama gets the nomination, I expect Hillary will be secretly doing everything she can to Swiftboat the Obama campaign. She is setting the table for a run in 2012, and it's not to her advantage if a Democrat wins the White House in 2008.

Barry takes his eyes off the Clintons at his own peril. If she can't have the Dem WH, then nobody will. Her campaign will morph into a summer project of punching holes in the USS Obama, so that McCain gets his four years and she has another chance to run in 2012.

So, Obama has the potential here to show he is a saavy end-gamer, or as many suspect simply a lucky amateur dark horse (no racial pun intended) who found himself at the front of the line without the chops to finish.

It will be interesting to see if Obama's cries of racism get interwoven with the justifiable cries of ageism which the McCain campaign can claim against his detractors. My neighbor claims he won't vote for a black man, or a guy as old as McCain, or any woman, so he is writing in Lyndon Johnson.
