Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Saturday, May 10, 2008

The U.S. military has, since 2001, cremated some of the remains of U.S. service members killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere in a Delaware facility that also cremates pets, a practice that ended Friday when the Pentagon banned the arrangement.

"Friends Forever Pet Cremation Service."

This is the saddest, and most ironic, part of the story.

And when I die. And when I'm gone, there'll be one more body to not carry on, not carry on.

When my soul or consciousness has left my body, feed me to the worms(no casket) or whatever. I am not there and will not care. The facility uses separate crematoriums for animals and people. As there isn't anyone there to onserve this procedure why worry about it. The remaining residue will be handled as wished. At best this process isn't one to watch.

Seems like an unnecessary worry.

Typical of the general lack of concern for or respect for the veterans no longer able to continue fighting in the war for oil.

I haven't heard a single one complain, and they did volunteer.
