WASHINGTON -- Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Monday that either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama must drop out of the Democratic presidential race after the June primaries in order to unify the party by the convention and win the election in November. "We've got nine more primaries ... Five hundred of the 800 unpledged delegates have already said who they are for. The remaining 300 will do that by the end of June and we'll know who our nominee is and that's what we need to do," Dean said on NBC's Today show.

was he screaming and waving his arms when he said it?

Nanc,

No, that's what he'll do when it ISN't over in June..

And we're gonna get beat in Pennsylvania,

And then we're gonna get beat in Indiana,

And then we're gonna get beat in Texas,

And then.....

RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Yeah right Howard. Let us know how your demands to the Clinton's go. You'll be screaming like you did 2004 after Hillary kicks you in the nuts.

He's right, if they don't wrap it up before the convention then there is going to be a rift in the party that won't heal in time to beat McCain.

Stay tuned...

Howard says that if they won't listen he will throw a lib fit and do another DEAN SCREAM.

I thought he died

I really don't see why Dean and the Dem elite are so scared of Obama being vetted. Hillary's attacks have been mild and it is better to get this stuff out in the open when 1.) the Dems can still get a different candidate 2.) the issues have a chance to lessen their impact with time. The only rational reason would be that Dean and the elite know that there is more damaging information lurking. It will be interesting when Rezko is put under the microscope and more Obama inconsistencies come to light. It is pretty clear Obama has put the brakes on and will try to cruise to a victory by limiting public appearances and only speaking straight from the script rather than trying to improvise (and make himself sound retarded)...

As anticipated, a litany of smart ass comments from the more war crowd.

Howard can't find the men's room.

This is getting better by the day.

Hey maybe Hillary or Obama will drop out--maybe the SD WIIIILLLLLL choose--Not!

Ha Ha Ha!

Murphy

I don't think he should have testified against Nxon.

"The only rational reason would be that Dean and the elite know that there is more damaging information lurking."

Riiight cuz Hillary's campaign wouldn't be dredging it up right about now. Uh huh, riiiiitht.

"Howard can't find the men's room."

That's why the Dems are raising far more money than the Republicans using the techniques begun by....Howard Dean.
That's why Dems are competitive in states which have always been considered red using Howard's 50 state strategy.
That's why the Dems have two candidates, either of whom can beat McCain.

Call the Dems dumb but we aren't the party stuck with 100 Years of War Grandpa McBush.

These same two candidates who you believe would beat McCain today will go down with the likes of Kerry and Gore. As long as your hero Howard Dean conitnues to play them as the two best candidates the dems have ever nominated. The people will realize these two are being pimped by the dems because of gender and race. They will see through Obama's ambition over talent and Hillary's name recognition over experience. The repubs as usual will exploit their weakness and the dems only counter of Bush blows won't be enough.

We are goood. Take the 2000 election and the butterfly ballots. We were able to infiltrate the newspaper which printed the ballots months ahead of time. The drivers who took the elderly to vote and reminded to mark #2. The laws of the state of Florida regarding the duties of the Secretary of State. The media calling the state for Gore before the northeat had voted. Seems like it doesn't take much to pull the wool over the eyes of fools in Florida. BTW... Aren't you from Florida???

Crisp asks "BTW... Aren't you from Florida???".

Yes I am, and since the average age in this state is deceased, I damn well think the rest of the country should cut us some slack.

You got it. Maybe that explains the mindset of danni. Orlack of it.

Why not just forget the convention too. The Democratic party could use a lesson in the democratic process.

How are they going to pimp their next inexperienced, racial driven, possible 2012 nominee?

Might find Florida adds up votes differently this time now that Jeb is out of the picture and we are supposed to now have a paper trail. We'll see, Crist is still a Republican but hopefully not quite as corrupt as Jeb.

" The Democratic party could use a lesson in the democratic process."

Yeah, we'll call the President of Diebold to teach us Democracy 101 like he did for the Republicans.

As much as I would love to rip on Crist, he keeps doing stuff that isn't all that awful. The Rtards probably hate him by now, though.

"The Rtards probably hate him by now, though."

Heard rumors that he could be McBush's VP but I doubt it beause Crist a bachelor. Rumors that he isn't straight have floated though classy DAvis would not even mention the possibility in the governor's race. I don't care if he is or not but I think the social conservatives in the Republican Party would have a tough time supporting him....unless they pretend they don't know.

I had forgotten about that. I think with all the furor over our other R-closet_tard at the time, everyone was too embarrased to get into it overly much.

Let's hope the bible thumpers keep him away for the VEEP ticket. He might actually help that assclown McCain and we wouldn't want that!!!

He's not straight, but he's not gay?

Sitdown,

As long as he is not a hypocrit, most liberals have enough class not to even ask the question. His problems will come when the bible thumper Rtards start sniffing around.

Who wants to bet that Hillary and Obama both ignore Dean and this thing goes to the convention?

Murphy

Better yet, the both drop out and we stop it now.

Nancy, Jon and one of the Rights, ever anxious to get in their cheap shots, lack any understanding that November will not be about Hillary or Barack, it will be about cleaning house, which is long overdue. I suspect that most of America - at least that which looks at George W. in negative terms - will understand that and check whomever is anointed. herm

"The media calling the state for Gore before the northeat had voted."

I hate to get into it with the crispy one over a minor point, but the media called it for Gore because Gore won. Something simple, for a change. Media polling proved beyond a statistical doubt that Gore won - before hanging chads, Jews for Buchanan, Jeb, Katherine and the SCOTUS Five. The "Northeat" - a Miami Beach art deco diner, I presume - had nothing to do with it. herm

Cleaning house? Funny I thought his term expires in Jan. 2009. Shouldn't be hard to clean a empty house. But since that is ALL the dems have to run on ( bashing Bush and the right) and their voters have lowered their standards to anyone who can speak english, I am not surprised you are voting Obama.

Bad enough I didn't check the spelling, but I didn't even get the correct region. It should have been the northwest. Which Hermie Boy is on a different time zone. They still had at least another hour to vote. I know that means little to you since you posted the media was correct even though the polls had not closed.

"But since that is ALL the dems have to run on ( bashing Bush and the right) and their voters have lowered their standards to anyone who can speak english, I am not surprised you are voting Obama."

Yeah, you betcha. "Bashing" Bush? As in unfairly criticizing him?
Bush and his 6 year congressional "mandate" accomplished exactly what? Go ahead, take your time...I'll wait for the answer.
You guys have nothing, absolutely nothing, positive to run on so that's why Limbaugh and the rest are out to do the only thing to win this election...poison the outcome. You sure as hell can't win on the merits of your candidate.

Bash away. Never claimed it was unfair. I claim it is ALL the dems have to run on.

As opposed to the military and experience running any branch of a state government like Obama and Clinton? How about a total of 10 years combined in the Senate and nothing to show for it?

Crispee,
Bashing by definition is verbal abuse, which usually denotes something unfair (and has been defined on this blog as unfair).
Then tell me what is positive about McCain as president. List something he has said he will do that makes you want to vote for him, besides the R after his name.
Oh yeah, and it's intellectually dishonest for the right to use military experience as criteria now when, for the past 8 years, the right has said that military shouldn't be used as a criteria, i.e. when discussing Cheney, Wolfowitz, Bush, et al.

Cleaning house? Funny I thought his term expires in Jan. 2009. Shouldn't be hard to clean a empty house. Funny indeed...Not. Is there some obscure Bush program that McCain hasn't bought into ?

You are fuckin'A right, we are running against Bush and his clone.

Ya!

Bush and McCain have gotten along swimmingly over the last 10 years!

True:

Might as well end in June....'cause it'll definately end in November.

Come November, ANY politician remotely associated with the Bushclowns will be toast. Gas should be around $4.85 by then and another 2 million families will have been evicted. God only knows how many more of our kids will have been killed in Iraq by then.

Even Democrats will have to fight hard to keep their jobs in that environment.

Regardless of how destitute....any human w/ a shred of intelligence will pull the lever for a Repub....

The democratic party can go screw itself.

2 more months, the party will lose me if it goes that much longer.

Piece of shit party of do nothing.

Since you've railed against them for years, and said you wouldn't vote for them for years, and said they are no different than the GOP, I don't think we'll miss you much.

M.War...you're a piece of shit if you're still a registered lib....sorry, man, but it's the truth.

Hear my PROPHECY:

The Democrats will go to convention without a nominee.
It will get worked out - the SD's will choose Hillary.
Disenfranchised youth (the types that frighten Obama's
Granny) will 'rebel', and there will be 'civil unrest'.

Anyone with any street smarts at all can see this coming.
(If I lived in the Denver area, I would make signs
that read: BLACK OWNED & be ready to place these
signs on my property in hopes of loss prevention).

"If I lived in the Denver area, I would make signs that read: BLACK OWNED & be ready to place these signs on my property in hopes of loss prevention"

And Republicans wonder why they don't get the black vote.

cumbaya!

Let me get this straight. Dean, the head of the Dems, wants to break the dems own rules and end it in June?

They should have thought about this when they MADE THE SUPERDELEGATES.

Are the dems just stupid morons or are they just ignorant fuck heads?

Rules are rules, its going to convention. Superdelgates are there for a reason idiot.

Damn.

Kuma

MONEYWAR! LOL LOL!

Dude, you didn't know the democrats are spineless cowards? I thought you would quit when you all elected Pelosi and her ilk after that great "see what we accomplish in the first 100 days" election slogan.

Then um....100 days go by, and they um....

Did nothing...

Well, except give Bush more blank checks.

LOL the democrats are truly stupid. LOL its hilarious.

Have you ever wondered what kind of President Hillary Clinton would have made had she been leading all the way throughout the nomination process. Well I'll tell you a few things here. She wouldnt have had to get so negative TRYING to come back. She wouldn't have have to answer the white phone at 3 am, or lied about the snipper fire. She reminds me of the bullies on the playground that scared everybody but the ones who stood up against them. Those kids where the failures, the ones who ended up shooting up Columbine HS or VTech college.
Hillary Clinton could never have changed this country, she can't, she already is one of the biggest accepters of pack money from the oil bobby, the auto indutry and the drug companies.
She would have been too trigger happy with Iran and China despite her tough talk trying to win the nomination. I feel sorry for her, she is going down fast and is going to destroy a lot of good with her. She is making sure that if she can't win Obama will not win either. What a vindictive Bitch with a capitol B.

she already is one of the biggest accepters of pack money from the oil bobby, the auto indutry and the drug companies.

When you're at school today, would you punch your Englsh teacher in the mouth for me?

"English" Hahahaha! Funnier the first time.

"English" Hahahaha! Funnier the first time.

Doesn't this represent a change of direction for Dean? If memory serves correctly, just a week or two ago he was imploring the SDs to make the decision quickly. Now he's suggesting one of the candidates pulls the plug voluntarily.

I agree it doesn't benefit Dems to have this go to the convention deadlocked. But for the Dem DR supporters, do you read anything into Dean's apparent change of mind? Why or why not? Serious question.

Serious question is will this start a race riot

If it comes down to pissing off blacks or women, blacks will lose. Come crunch time they're Dem voters deep down despite how their guy got shafted.
