the age doesn`t matter much...the problem is unpredictable reacts...

The rigors of the Presidency age men an additional 10 more years by the time they leave that office. Look at Bush in 2000 and look at him now. The same goes for most former Presidents. You literally have the weight of the world on your shoulders. McCain's health history for many years has not been top notch. Why take a chance with a man his age who is not in the best of health. Who would he pick as his VP? If McCain wins it's his VP who in 2-3 years would likely be the one sitting in the Oval Office, not John McCain.

Hasn't this country been through enough already these last eight years. Do we need to chance even more turmoil for ourselves by electing a man who, to satisfy his huge ego, decided he wants to take on the toughest job in the world starting at age 72? No, we do not.

Retire, Johnny, buy a big RV and drive around the country like a lot of other folks your age. Just don't drive down to 1600 Pennyslvania Avenue because we don't want you there.

I agree with Murtha, he has seen much. I am 57 and have seen many presidents come in too and there hair turn white and they start to make big mistakes when speaking like Bill Clinton does now too.

I said this before, but I think Obama is too young based entirely on what Jimmy Carter has done in the meantime. Obama is what, mid 40's? Maybe mid 50's before he gets done if he wins. McCain may not survive two terms, that's a given, but at least he'll have the good sense to keel over soon after like a good ex-president should.
