Barack Obama can take some solace out of Hillary Clinton's new television ad in Pennsylvania. At least one of her supporters featured in the spot hammering Obama for his small town comments isn't registered to vote in Pennsylvania.

Thomas said he was born in Scranton, but has lived his entire life in Somerville, N.J. He is a 46-year-old unemployed environmental engineer.

He said he has been volunteering for the campaign in recent weeks, handing out literature and making phone calls. He said the campaign approached him about appearing in the ad, which was filmed in Bethlehem, a city of about 72,000 residents in eastern Pennsylvania where Bethlehem Steel once stood tall.

More smoke and mirrors.

Close enuff...Jersey, Philly...what's the diff?

Environmental engineer? Isn't that the current euphemism for janitor?

Note: Unemployed environmental engineer. That's the current euphemism for wisgod.

Personally I find both democrat candidates offensive.

Neither of them could change a flat tire on their own car if they had to. The wouldn't know which end of a hammer to use and they both look at a bowling ball like a hog looks at a wrist watch.

These people have done nothing in life but attend schools and campaigned for public office.

To many companies today have these very types of people in charge. They don't know if they're getting kissed or fucked.

It's time for all of them to stand down and stfu.

It's way past time for someone somewhere who has done something useful(built a company that's produced goods and or services) for people to get involved in government.

These elitist mindsets are pathetic and damaging to our countries economy.

"These elitist mindsets are pathetic and damaging to our countries economy."

Almost nothing they could do would damage our economy as much as the supposedly "non-elitist" multimillionaire George Bush already has. I'll take an "elitist" like Roosevelt anyday over a "non-elitist" like Reagan who seriously fucked up the economy and who's voodoo economics are still creating more debt and stagnant wages.

SEE Hellary is ALL for Outsourcing. She had to outsource a bitter voter from another state than using one from the state that She is running in. AMAZING.

Larry Mohr

Seems to me they both have the stench of New Jersey about them now seeing that Springsteen endorsed Obama the other day.

I like Leno's line from last night. Elite means someone is probably smarter than you are. Would you rather have someone smarter than you in the White House or the current occupant? Is this whole regular guy/girl crap really what you want? Do you like the idea of the person in the White House being similar the the person at the end of the bar?

Should have been "similar TO the person..."

Which countries do you own?

"Ya just gotte love the BHO crowd making a big deal of this commercial."

Actually, I haven't seen anybody make "a big deal" out of this. More like poking a little fun and rolling the eyes a bit.

It's way past time for someone somewhere who has done something useful(built a company that's produced goods and or services......

....run a baseball team or been governor, i.e something that requires brains.

McCain's claim to fame is that he was last in his class at the naval academy, only because his father and grandfather were admirals or else he would have been booted out. He lost his navy jet and was captured. Spent time as a prisoner of war, and was elected to the senate on his wife's money. But I bet he's a hell of a handyman.

isn't registered to vote in Pennsylvania...

I guess he can't make a comercial for that state then. WTF over. Is that stupid or what?

"I guess he can't make a comercial for that state then. WTF over. Is that stupid or what?"

It'd be like you making a commerical saying Hillary's racist.

"Is that stupid or what?"

Yes, it is rather stupid to have someone in a commercial purporting to speak for Pennsylvanians who does not live, work, or vote in Pennsylvania.

It'd be like you making a commerical saying Hillary's racist.

And what state would have to live in to do that? Don't let me stop you.

"He is a 46-yr-old unemployed environmental engineer"

With the focus on environmental and energy issues these days, and the overall growth in green activities, how the heck can anyone in the environmental industry be unemployed? Oh wait.. it's New Jersey.... n/m

"And what state would have to live in to do that? Don't let me stop you."

Idaho.

In the city of "buc fuc" no doubt.

"In the city of "buc fuc" no doubt."

The article said he was born in Scrotum.

Yeah! Pennsylvania ... the Guns and Bitter State!

I want to lick your crack of Liberty!

CrunchyPigFat, it seems you have an inferiority complex or do you really want the 'Avergae guy' as your president?

Do you know what Bush said to the Pope after the Pope gave his speech at the WH the other day. He said "Awesome Speech"! AWESOME SPEECH? WTF? We have a complete retard in the WH now and you're afraid of somebody with an education?

You righties like to call any democrat with an education an 'elitist' and part of the 'liberal academia'. Did you ever stop to think that many of them busted their ass and got there through hard work?

I don't want a president that has time to sit around and know how to bowl and do other stupid 'average joe' bullshit. I want somebody that has spent their lives dedicated to learning about economics and foreign policy ad other matters of state. I want a person that is always 'too busy' to take 5 weeks off during the summer after getting us into a war.

As for your line about it being "time for someone somewhere who has done something useful(built a company that's produced goods and or services) for people to get involved in government".....I believe it was you and your party that nominated a candidate that called himself the CEO President. HA! AS a CEO, he bankrupted all three of his companies, but not before he sold off the stock days before the news was made public. You still want your CEO president?

And finally, your part about 'elitist mindsets' being 'damaging to our economy'.....you do acutally KNOW the Bush family history, right?

Chicharrone. You are my little crispy pork fat.I will drink your beer.

"is actually registered in New Jersey."
==========
Is anyone really surprised at this?

Hello,
I'm an unemployed loser. I have nothing better to do than protest what is going badly in my life. I can't figure out why I keep failing in life, so I moved to PA to protest someone who won't give me a free ride. Man, this sucks.
