I'm part of Rush Limbaugh's "operation chaos". I registered as a democrat, and am voting for Hilary. The idea is to keep her bashing osama, i mean obama. I truly believe that Rush is the reason her campaign is still viable enough for her to stay in it.

I truly believe that Rush is the reason her campaign is still viable enough for her to stay in it.

I truly believe you'll believe anything oxycotin man tells ya to believe.

I would agree that we will definitely see an effect of republicans voting for hillary in PA. Politically, it makes sense to draw out their battle as long as possible.

At sportsbook.com you can bet on hillary winning the dem nomination at 3-1 odds, I like those odds, because she will do anything to win, and she will gladly accept republican votes.

HILLARY AND OBAMA DEBATE -- WEDNESDAY APRIL 16, 2008

Hillary and Obama will participate in a televised debate in Philadelphia
Don't miss it.

HILLARY AND OBAMA DEBATE -- WEDNESDAY APRIL 16, 2008

Obama will claim she clings to hope. Hilly will claim Obama can't handle a shot and a beer.

Yeah, both are qualified to be president.

Oh boy!

"Clinton's Delegate edge Slim in Pa."

At least she has something slim. Have you noticed how huge her ass is getting lately? Too many late-night hot pockets and poptarts on the campaign trail...

hILLARY HAS ABOUT A 9% CHANCE OF WINNING THE NONINATION PER SLATE .COMS "HILLARY DEATHWATCH".

I'm part of Rush Limbaugh's "operation chaos". I registered as a democrat, and am voting for Hilary.

Gosh, I'd really hate it if that was illegal in your state and you went to jail for it.

Don't worry, once rush gets off his drugs and the 12 year old dominican whores, maybe he'll do a radio segment about you poor stupid bastards in prison.

Mega dittos!

"I'm part of Rush Limbaugh's "operation chaos". I registered as a democrat, and am voting for Hilary."

What a clueless fucktard. The only reason Rush wants Hillary in the running is that it will help his ratings. If she becomes president? He'll make a mint due to clowns like JOESMITH tuning in to hear about all the ficititious Clinton horrors.

We should take away Joe's voting and gun rights. He obviously does not know how to use either properly. He can keep his freedom of speech as it is a constant reminder of the utter ignorance that is endemic in many parts of Redneckville, USA.

The parties have decided they will take crossover voters in certain states' primaries. It's awfully presumptuous to judge one's reasons for voting unless they state them like JOESMITH. That Dems would even consider of some sort of illegality or violation is absurd. "

Oohrah,

It shouldn't be illegal but it is an indication of their lack of principals and integrity and therefore open for ridicule. In a democracy you should be voting for who you think is the best candidate, period. If you wish to switch parties to vote in the other primary because you believe the other candidate is best then that's fine as well. To do it as a "poison vote"? Really pathetic and an embarrassment to democracy.

As for Rush he made his tremendous growth during the Clinton era. The man's business thrvies on controversy from the Left. Obama is relatively boring. The Clintons on the other hand are despised by many of his listeners and get them worked up with ridiculous rage. Also the Clintons have this arrogant aristocratic attitude that causes them to make some ridiculous claims. Such as being the First Lady and going into hostile war zones to promote foreign policy.

"He is a behemoth - his audience size won't continue to grow at the same pace indefinitely. But he has continued to be huge during Dubya's 8 year run, including time when Reps had the White House and both sides of Congress. His 'influence' is greater than ever."

Sure but apathy on the Right will decrease his listenship. He has no where to go but down in the ratings. Now that Bush has made is obviously that just being right doesn't make one right it kind of challenges Rush's vitriol to the Left in general that they are the cause of all ill in the US. Hillary and Bill will be able to bring back old times of course. Hey, I'm a fan of Bill's presidency but really dislike Hillary. I could imagine the coronaries that would occur on the Right if Hillary became President.

I believe you are correct about Rush and you may be honest in your claim about being a dem in order to vote for Hillary. However unlike Ohio and Texas it takes effort to change your registration in Pa and somehow I don't see 140000 plus republicans going to the trouble to switch parties unless they are committed to change and I don't see 140000 plus former republican voting for Hillary. By the way I am one of those 140000 republicans that did switch parties and I do intend to vote for Barack and I know several others who did the same.

In the debate tonight someone should ask Hillary why she voted in favor to confiscate guns during a national emergency. Barack Obama voted against it.

"the greatness of possibilities which exist in America. It's Jimmy Carter all over again. Pols talk of angst, defeatism, all the horrors which exist - presumably to position themself as the savior. An opening for increasing government's influence. "

Oohrah,

As someone who is now on the outside looking in I have to say the "greatness of possibilities" have really shrunk. The 1980s were fueled by sudden low taxes and massive wealth growth. The 1990s by the collapse of communism and huge growth markets in asia and central/eastern europe along with Tech growth. The 2000s? Low interest rates. Nothing more but now retraction. Of course we are also looking at deterioriating infrastructure and massive debt due to the 1980s and 2000s tax cuts and raise in military expentitures.

The "greatness in possibilities" are generally taken adavantage of by foreigners immigrating to the Us who are the best and brightest from where they come from but live in a place that it is impossible to succeed. But there are now many more places in the world to succeed in than the US today.

The US is in trouble. It's mortgaged a lot of its future away to making the wealthy even richer. The average schmuck has to work much harder just to maintain the same standard of living. Forget improvment.

Of the state's remaining 84 slots, only 55 pledged delegates will be distributed based on the statewide popular vote, with the state's remaining 29 seats going to unpledged "superdelegates."

Hillary is hoping for a big popular vote victory, so she can put pressure on superdelegates to vote for her.

It's my "right" to act XXX way.

----

In a XXX way this early in the morning? Horn dog.

In the future, why would ANY Democratic candidate drop out of a race? These rules are crazy.

Only the Dems could've come up with a process this complicated and complex, and have so little to show for it. Words to the wise, regarding the bunch who wants to take over the delivery of American healthcare, and who's already managed to take over public education.

"In the future, why would ANY Democratic candidate drop out of a race? These rules are crazy."

No they are very democratic. When you have a country of 300M people a simple yes or no popular vote doesn't suffice. I would prefer the Presidential election to also be proportionally based rather than winner take all in each state. This way whole states and communities cannot be ignored by a candidate nor someone seeking reelection.

I would do away with caucuses though as they are a bit old fashioned and exclude people who don't have all day to bullshit.

"I would do away with caucuses though as they....exclude people who don't have all day to bullshit."

While I understand that a republican might feel that way....what else do democrat voters have to do? I mean, the dems doll out welfare money like it is candy...why is it unreasonable to expect the recipients to take one day off every four years to attend such a meeting and a few hours to vote a couple of times in November?

A Citizen has a point. Most professionals, i.e. Democrats, can take a day off to attend to something as important as exercising their rights as citizens of this country. But the Republicans working at McDonalds and Wal-Mart don't get to just take a few hours or a day off without losing their job.

Monte,

You must be more out of touch with reality than any of the democrat candidates if you think hourly employees at Wal-mart or McD's are republicans. After all the republican message of self reliance and make your own way would probably not be as well received as the democrat message of "screw the rich...they don't deserve what they have and it should be taken from them and given to you." Based upon the tax scheme, there is no reason that someone that knows how the country works and appreciates the fruits of their own labor could ever be a democrat.

"After all the republican message of self reliance and make your own way ....

Hilarious Flag!!

The 'wealthy' states like Mass are blue states, full of well educated rich people. The welfare mantra doesn't apply there, nor a lot of places.

"After all the republican message of self reliance and make your own way would probably not be as well received as the democrat message of "screw the rich"

Sure the Bear Stearns bailout wasn't welfare for the rich? Oil company tax incentives promotes "self reliance"?

Grow up. Repubs just don't want to give their money to anyone else but wish to takes everyone else's.

Furio,

How dumb you must be...

Bear Sterns - a bail out for the rich only if you think only the rich have retirement accounts. Do you think that the working people that had 401-k's or other retirement plans with Bear Sterns deserved to lose it all? Not surprising a Dem would want to put more people into the welfare line.

Oil Company Subsidies - Government wants the oil companies to look for other reserves and develop other "green technology' someone has to pay for it. End the subsidies, but don't expect to be able to control their behavior....and certainly don't bitch about the price of their product.

Of course, on further consideration, I can see why you - as a dem - would prefer that people with retirement accounts pour out of the market, resulting in a horrifying deflation of the value of the market, cratering companies and investors alike, giving the democrats the economic disaster that they get on their collective knees every night and pray for - at least so long as there is a republican in power and there are people that do not depend on the government tit for their retirement income.

A-Dumbfuck:

Bear Sterns fucked up and lost cashflow. Also the people affected would not have been those holding a variety of nice safe stocks, mutual funds or bonds but those in volatile highly leveraged investment schemes. for your ignorance that is like putting $1M of your money up to take out $20M in loans to buy $21M in investments hoping to make a mint off off the difference between gains and loan interest. This is how Bearn Stearns fucked up. No little retirement funds were impacted.

Second. you are utterly full of shit about oil subsidies are to help for reserves and "green" tech. Every other industry does R&D without government handouts the only reason the oil industry gets theirs is to help profts. Oil subisidies only hurt alternative energy as it makes oil artificially low. It also encourages consumers to waste energy by using less fuel efficient cars and appliances.

"resulting in a horrifying deflation of the value of the market, cratering companies and investors alike"

A-Dumbfuck,

Really so you beleive dumb investers should have their investments artifically propped up so the rest of us who were more safe have to pay for them? If people had sound investments they would recover quickly by any drop. The speculators would take it in the ass. Have some sense of responsibility you fucking welfare whore.

Furio -

I assume you would have felt the same way about the run on the banks in 1929 when people who put their hard earned money into an institution that they believed was sound lost it? Why do we need or have an FDIC? Must be to protect them welfare whores that try to save THEIR MONEY.

"so the rest of us who were more safe have to pay for them"

Really, how were you victimized here? Balancing the harms, do you think your tax dollar benefits these people more...or someone on the welfare line. Do we get to make that decision? If so, I am pretty content to direct my monies to defense and the market place. Certainly, I get no return from welfare programs or services, so can I get my tax dollars excluded from that?

Based on your statement, I can tell a couple of things about you. 1. you have no idea how a retirement account works. 2. you have no savings of your own. 3. If you are employed, you have your name securely sewn on your shirt.

Yeah. And you old folks. There are plenty of aluminum cans out there. What's more important, profits or whether your high-blood pressure (which is your fault) is under control. In fact, screw you guys. We've got a war to pay for, so no more Social Security. No more Medicare. Go get a job.

I Put The Issue Historically

When America Hits Economic And/Or Security Hard Times Plus Not trusting The Government.

1. They Look To The Lord

2. They Arm Themselves And Hold Fast To This Right Because It Is A Source Of Recreational Enjoyment And Their Last Line Of Defense When They Feel Threatened.

3. Who Ever Is At The Bottom Of The Economic Ladder When It Comes To Job Competition Will Get Shit On IE The Blacks, Irish, Italians,Jews, And Now Mexicans.

4. Intolerance Will Prevail Against Anyone Different, Suspicious Of Or Who Does Not Conform.

5. Crime/Birth Rates Will Increase.

All These Issues Have Happen From The Revolutionary War Forward.

Might want to check yourt facts as to the impact:

"It would have been highly risky for other Wall Street firms if Bear Stearns had been allowed to go under because Bear is tightly interconnected with them as both a borrower and a lender. Any firms that are owed a lot of money by Bear would have fallen under suspicion, on grounds that they might not be able to pay their own debts if Bear failed to pay them. That could have triggered a dangerous wave of defaults. The rescue by JPMorgan Chase gives the financial system breathing room to pay off Bear's debts gradually."

www.businessweek.com

That crisis, which was triggered by a prolonged housing slump and cascading mortgage defaults, has made it harder for consumers and businesses to get loans and helped to push the country to the brink of a recession.

Democrats on the Senate Banking Committee questioned why the Fed was willing to put such a large amount of money at risk to protect Wall Street while as many as 3 million homeowners are facing the risk of defaulting on their mortgages with the administration balking at greater efforts to help them.

"Was this a justified rescue to prevent a systemic collapse of financial markets or a $30 billion taxpayer bailout for a Wall Street firm while people on Main Street struggle to pay their mortgages?" Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd asked Bernanke and the other witnesses.

Bernanke said that government's effort was not a bailout for Bear Stearns shareholders, who will suffer big losses, but an effort to protect the financial system and ultimately the entire economy, which could have faced severe consequences from a Bear Stearns bankruptcy.

"The adverse impact of a default would not have been confined to the financial system but would have been felt broadly in the real economy through its effect on asset values and credit availability," said Bernanke. On Wednesday, Bernanke had for the first time raised the possibility that the current economic troubles could push the country into a recession.

A_Citizen,

This was an investment banking failure. I know these guys, a lot are fucking arrogant greedy assholes. Think American Psycho. They are being bailed out with cheap debt because of overplaying their hand. If you or I screw up with our margin buys and get called are we going to get the Fed to loan us more money at below market rates to hold off our "ill liquidity"? NO. The only reason to keep Bear Sterns from failing is because no one had a clue what the effects would be on the rest of the market. But these guys are getting no penalities, nothing for their massive arrogant fuck up.

And I also don't think home owners should be protected in foreclosure either the faster bad debt gets removed from the books and home prices come down to reality the faster the economy will recover.

But if anyone should be bailed out it should be the homeowners since they are clueless about finance and were heavily manipulated by the banks, realtors and media into buying a "home".

It's not your opinion on the banking bailouts that pisses me off but the fact that you don't consider this a welfare for the rich and begrudge any little schmuck to get help from the goverment. Your hypocracy makes any argument of your into a joke.

Furio,

We agree with regards to homeowners, although I suspect for different reasons. I think it is BS that government got onto the backs of lenders to get everyone a home, thus creating the idea of a "subprime loan".

Let's be clear with regards to bail outs....if we were talking about Enron, GM, etc, we are on the same page. Do I think that the government should re-pay stock holders that had Bear Stearns at $150? HELL NO! However, do I think that people who had accounts with Bear Stearns should be protected? Yes. Would I want to see Bear Stearns fail at the cost of risking the parade of horribles that was predicted? Hell no!

A_Citizen,

The weatlhy make their riches through controlling large corporations. When they get bailed out for their fuckups they are getting in effect government welfare since as you said they also have put the rest of the economy at potential risk. But as SOXLEY is now holding executives responsible for lying about profits they also need to hold them responsible in the case of extreme fuckups like Bear Sterns and all the shitheads playing with subprimes. They knew they were crap but quickly securitized them into bonds and floated them. The real interesting thing is that many of the mortgages the lenders held onto instead of selling to SIVs have a much lower default rate than the shit they sold at a higher tranch to SIVs. Criminal

A_Citizen,

To follow up I think Reagan's "trickle down" theory is utter bullshit. The government should be there to regulate for stability and to help both large corporations and the little guy.

Thats why Bill has been looking for other women. Hillary doesn't have hind sight and Bill can see her big ass.
