who cares, the one throwing hte punches on the tape will be sent up the river for sure. So instead of getting time served in a holding facility for the trial she will have to serve the whole sentence in prison when she gets convicted

Another reason for me to hate Dr. Phil.. he gives puke a bad name. The only reason for me to watch him is to see how he avoids slipping on his own trail of slime.

WTF?

If the teen was caught on tape, his conviction is almost certain, as it damned well should be.

Why, then, would anyone from Dr. Phil want to bail him out? This is the kind of kid who needs to be behind bars paying for what he's done, not on TV getting his 15 minutes.

I've long held that Phil McGraw is the worst kind of media whore, but I never thought he'd spring a perp to put him on the show.

Did he learn nothing from his little visit to Britney, and the resulting outcry?

Guess not.

He thought she was a hottie.

Part of the condition of bail was an exclusive for the Dr. Phil Show.

You have to excuse Dr. Phil.
He had a 'compassion attack'.

You know he will have this skank on
his show. There will be 'analysis' to
determine why this unfortunate event
happened.

Has anyone seen Dr. Phil parodied on
'Imus in the Morning'? Now Dr' Phil
is his own parody (the shrink that needs one).

Old Dr. Phil is making some $90 million per year according to Parade. So, his exploitation of anyone and everyone is marketable in the USA.

He bailed this young girl out. Now, he'll exploit her situation. The bail is a cost of doing business for him, not a charitable undertaking.

Anybody can present the material that Dr. Phil does. He seemingly does it in a way that attracts many Americans. His popularity is a commentary on America even more than it is a reflection on himself. He has a market. He makes good money. The people he deals with for material, would be in their situations with or without him. And there are sufficient numbers of members of the public who eat it up, to make him a financial success.

Maybe his show has finally "Jumped the Shark" and will now go away.

Not a chance Humans love to watch the lowest common denominator in action. We just can't look away.

$90 million a year for charlatan Phil.

Would this taint the jury pool?

Another example of television producers doing anything for ratings.

His popularity is a commentary on America even more than it is a reflection on himself.

Yes, you hit the core of the issue Johnson. I think the popularity has something to do with giving even trailer trash someone to make fun of, or to relate to. I'm guessing the "red staters" are tuning in the most--just a wild guess with his dumb accent and all...
