Hillary winning the election will have nothing to do with his legacy. It would give him another four years to make a bigger fool out of himself. He has been dooing a good job at that during this campaign.

If anything I think Bill wants her to lose. Why else would he bring back up the Bosnia story and make further incorrect statements about it just when it was starting to lose its legs?

At first I thought, "of course Hillary won't drop-out - as long as they stay in the Dems get all the free press coverage."

But I think it's coming back to bite them - they're getting a lot more negative press coverage - treating it like a reality TV show - but McCain has had months to get some cash and build his foundation set while the Dems are ragged - making mistakes. McCain is probably getting 8-9 hours sleep a night and has weekends off - Clinton and Omaba are running 20-hour days, seven days a week. Killing themselves.

Judging from the current poor scores on surveys of how well high school graduates are familiar with history my guess is that in 100 years no one will know that the country and earth has 100+ years of history to learn about.

Much as Spud loathes agreeing with Joe he's actually correct here. The two biggest things (beyond her unelectability and pathological lying) to give Hillary grief this campaign are Bill and Bill's boy from back in the day Mark Penn.

Spud thinks on some level maybe not even conciously Bill does not want Hillary to accomplish wot he did because it will somehow diminish him in his own mind.
