It may sound strange or sick to us, but this is their culture. They are brought up this way, and it's just the way their society works. Every culture is different and has a completely diffent perception of what is normal. For these people it is that at a young age a girl is given the choice between seeking marriage or going into prostitution. In one culture in Papau New Guinea, in order for a boy to become a man he has to suck the chiefs dick. Strange, perhaps, but who are we to judge? Likewise, other cultures find things we do to be immoral. People need to realize that culture is relative and get over these sort of stories.
