Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

In Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer's view, the long march to the Democratic convention is a good thing. States like Montana that hold late primaries are energized, with unprecedented interest in the Democratic Party. On Saturday night, a dinner that usually draws 600 will have 4,000 for chow and brew with attendees Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

The first Vietnam anti-war rally I attended as a college student there was in Missoula...

10% of the population of Missoula went to the overflow rally.

Born and raised in Big Stump by the meander of an ice cold river. I did not know what a Democrat was.

Go Obama!

Fell in love/karma with Bud Lilly's daughter in West Yellowstone eons ago...

You know the hospital with the big blue cross ?

My fathers uncle owned the B bar L in the Big Sky, a little 128000 acre home for soon to be eaten cattle. As far as I know some cousins of mine are the current owners. Haven't spent much time in that cold neck of the woods.

For those curious about the hospital with the big blue cross? That place is in Billings. In that small(at the time) burg a child was born in January the 15th, 1952. This date shared with MLK. That was one hell of a cold time!

And I'm just as pumped up that Montana is pumped up.

...and this is news?

I am pumped up
that you are pumped up
about Montana being pumped up

Dear Montana,

You don't count. You are a red state.

Sincerely,

Cork/beg on behalf of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton

Montana where gun control is hitting wot you aim at"

Ha! Spud likes this Gov Schweitzer feller right off the bat fer that bon mot.

Sounds like Montana has a similar streak of dry humour like Texas does.

Also sounds like they got fully functional Bullshit detrectors there, as well.

That'll work to Obama's advantage and to Hillary's disadvantage.

How's the Goveernor's SD vote and endorsement gonna go?

Bill Clinton told hard-faced souls on the high plains that enough wind blows from Texas to Montana "to electrify America." Schweitzer had a slightly different take. "His speeches went on long enough to run a wind turbine," he said, when I spoke to him this week. The governor has yet to endorse a candidate, but take that as a hint on which way he's leaning.

Nice hint.

Now, if Obama can just get Hannah Montana on board he's sure to capture the majority of the supa-delegates as well.

Moving to
Montana soon.

Gonna be dental floss tycoon.

Just me and my pygmy pony

And some zircon encrusted tweezers.

Yippe Tie Yo Tie Yeah!

Be Well.

Obama gonna be toast in November.

He's already alienated white folks.

Hillary's getting an overwhelming majority of whites just in the dem party.

Aint no white repubs gonna vote fer him and we know latinos don't like him either.

Adios amigos Obama(send crack)

CPJ

Obama gonna be toast in November.

If you haven't been back in a while you probably wouldn't recognize it. The cost of property there is ridiculous and it has become mostly another playground for the rich and famous.

I was in college in Bozeman when it opened.

That's no supprise to me. Missoula and surrounding area is a hot spot for libs. Always has been. Most natives don't even claim the area is in Montana.

Ah, Montana. Where else to have a testicle festival?
