I for one, and most people I know, were better off 8 years ago, mostly undoubtedly because of the .com bubble. I know multiple people who have lost their jobs recently. Let's examine the fact that you had to go to Afghanistan to make the kind of money you're making. Things here are not so good for most people here in the states. 69% of people say they're worse off now than in 2000. I'm hardly alone in that feeling.

Things are better for YOU because of Bush's actions. Home values have plummeted because of the emphasis Bush put on loose credit markets with little oversight. Funny thing is 2 years ago Bush was touting home ownership rates, and yet 2 weeks ago he said too many people own houses.
