Their problem is that they can't believe that they're losing. They're ENTITLED, dammit and along comes Obama and blows them away because he's running on what the country needs and they're running on what they need.

Richardson's endorsement is FAR less important than Obama's wife closing that plant in Aurora Colorado and 153 mostly Hispanic workers losing their jobs thanks to her. Aurora only has a population of 1,500 so that was over 10% of its people and probably 25% of its entire working population thrown out of their jobs by Michelle.

To add insult to injury, Obama and his wife were both too cowardly to go there (the Mayor of Aurora offered to pay their plane fare) to face the people she tossed out of their jobs.

So if you think Hispanic voters are going to support Obama, you are kidding yourself.

And unlike Jewish voters who seem to enjoy being abused by an anti-Semetic preacher (Wright) so they flock to his spiritual student Barack "Slumlord Lover" Obama, the Hispanic population doesn't forgive nor forget despite turncoats like Richardson.

The chances of Richardson beecoming Vice-President are about the same as the Democrats nominating Jeb Bush for the job - None and less than none.

I don't think increasing the level of hostility between the Obama and Clinton camps will help Richardson's chances of being VP, exactly the opposite. Whichever candidate gets the nomination will almost be forced to choose someone to bring back the other candidate's supporters and if Obama gets it that won't be Richardson now. I think Bill Richardson made a foolish mistake, he should have remained as the "peacemaker" and been the friend of both sides. As far as the Hispanic vote goes, I think the states remaining in the nomination process don't really have huge Hispanic populations and both candidates can pretty well depend on the Hispanic vote in the election.

When compared to the effects of NAFTA that is an infinitesimally tiny problem and Hillary lied about supporting NAFTA and right now, her lack of credibility is killing her. If the Clintons (or anyone else)tries to make a big deal about a plan in Colorado it will just bring back up her lie about supporting NAFTA so I doubt she or her surrogates will try to draw much attention to that town in Colorado.

Why is this news? He has been doing that for over 20 years. It is only news now because the press is in the tank with Obama. The prior 20 years it was kept away from 'Joe 6-Pack' as much as possible.

Bill needs to be more statesmanlike in this whole process.

If his wife wasn't running, everyone would have been vying for his endorsement and he would have been able to play the role of party elder statesman -- the wise sage every pundit and DEM decision-maker would be currying favor with for a favorable quote or sound-bite. But as a candidate's husband, he has lost all of his appearance of impartiality and his potential to be an elder statesman within the DEM party. Without his ability to play the role of fair-dealer, it seems that he is hurting the party.

Further, Bill's emotional commitment to taming would-be defectors from his wife's camp smacks of an attempt to build a "dynasty" that flies entirely against the party's higher ideals. Shades of Juan and Evita Peron, perhaps?

If I were Bill's adviser, I'd be sure to re-emphasize the need to assume the mantel of fair dealer and elder statesman as soon as possible. Bill's value to the nation, world and DEM party is much greater when he can hold the high ground as a popular and intelligent former POTUS than as a mean-spirited, partisan would-be, could-be, might-be "First Husband".

I've said it here before but was ignored or laughed at. The book 'Unlimited Access' details the Clinton's behavior how it really is in private, and both Bill and Hillary have been exhibiting more of it publicly since things started going against them.

The left will just dismiss this book as another right-wing conspiracy, but it's written by an ex secret service agent who worked in both the Clinton and Bush 1 WH. It tells of absolutely horrible behavior from them and very bad treatment of the WH staff. But, like I said, it's just a right-wing conspiracy again.
