This is BIG news. Bill Richardson was one of the famous "FOB" ("Friends of Bill") circle. He was also tagged early on as one of the most "experienced" candidates. His defection from leaning toward Ms. Clinton resonates in the pro-Clinton circles as a big disappointment to her campaign.

And, yes, Spud -- back in August 2007, I gave you a detailed explanation as to why I thought Richardson would ally with Clinton. All I said was valid then -- he did ally with her in the subsequent early debates when Edwards and Obama were tag-teaming against Clinton -- but the campaign has unfolded more strongly for Obama than one would have expected early on/

Good for Bill. I know it had to be a tough decision given his long history with the Clintons, but kudos for making a sound, reasoned decision.

Spud agreed with yer assessment at that time which kinda explains why Spud also was a little suprised, not only at the endorsement itself here but also at the timing.

In fact, SNL have made Richardson sucking up to ClintCo in order to garner the Veep spot a staple, running joke in their unoffical 527 campaign fer Helldawg.

"Live from New York, the city who's Senator is running for President of the United States it's Saturday Niiiiiiight!"

Spud imagines that this is Helldawg slitting her own throat again. Her egregious behaviour by trying incessantly to label Obama as merely "the black candidate" has blown up in her face before. By using proxy/hubby Bubba in order to try and portray Obama as a kind of Jackson/Sharpton V2.0 fer '08 she pissed off the black voters especially in South Carolina and got the Kennedies to endorse Obama openly a move they had sed they weren't gonna do. N

ow that Hill is hemmoraging the entire Dem party by tossing those Wright sound bytes to the MSM it becomes imperative that the DNC shut her evil cakehole and get Obama the Nom before she straps a suicide vest on and blow Barack up at one of his rallies in a fit of despair.

She stoops to conquer but only sinks herself in the long run.
