A classic exchange between Sean Hannity and John McCain last night (bolding mine):...

HANNITY: He's been -- but he's been going to the church for 20 years. His pastor -- the church gave a lifetime achievement award to one of the biggest racists and anti-Semites in the country, Louis Farrakhan. Would you go to a church that -- where your pastor supported Louis Farrakhan?

MCCAIN: Obviously, that would not be my choice. But I do know Sen. Obama. He does not share those views.

Well well, look who came to Barack Obama's defense over the Wright controvers?.

Was it a member of his own party? Of course not! It was the Republican nominee, John McCain!

I'm not going to vote for him, obviously. But maybe he's telling the truth when he says he will not allow gutter politics to invade his attempt in winning the White House.

Too bad the other Democrat doesn't have the ethical stones that McCain does.

The Clintons and ethics are two things that never go together.

The Clintons were silent on this, expecting Obama to sink himself without their help. But I think today's speech help Obama a lot.

"I can't believe I just wrote that, but honor and decency means something to me,"

and don't forget his "experience" tony, Hilary says he has lots of "experience" and is ready on day one to be Commander in Chief.

And that's why Hillary should be President. She won't let crap like honesty and integrity get in the way like that crazy old coot does.
- Corky

I want to see Obama give McCain a hearty "thumbs-up" on this one.

Compare this one to Hillary being unable to come straight out and say whether she thinks Obama is a Muslim or not.

Gawd, I hope the superdelegates are watching and put a stake into the heart of this bloodsucker that Hillary has become. I do not understand how women can be thrilled with the complete lack of integrity which Hillary bases her campaign upon.

Should Hillary pilfer the nomination from Obama by any means but a clear victory, I'll have to look more closely at McCain.

I can't believe I just wrote that, but honor and decency means something to me, especially after the complete lack of ethics we've endured over these last eight years.

"Too bad the other Democrat doesn't have the ethical stones that McCain does."

I'll second that Tony, and even vote for McCain like many many others will do for exactly that reason.

DEMOCRATS can NOT be trusted.
Many even on this site are despicable hate mongers and those here who allow them to spew hatred and racism and anti Semitism are every bit as bad.

Obama gave a great speech today and did something that's been a long long time coming in modern American politics. He told it like it is.

Instead of his polls sinking, they should have sky rocketed. There are few who could stand equal to him in this respect.

Today I honor Obama for his words.

GZ...

I think his poll numbers will climb very quickly and put Hillary in a further bind from which she cannot escape.

The difference between Hillary, McCain and Obama is like the difference between two mud puddles and the Pacific Ocean.

Interesting to find out so many would rather wallow in the shallow muck than to bask in the clear azure waters.

McCain has class, HillBilly has none.

Snippet from the Politico:
But, for the first time, Obama admitted what he previously had denied: that he was present when Wright had made some of his outrageous comments.

"Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church?" Obama said. "Yes. Did I strongly disagree with many of his political views? Absolutely -- just as I'm sure many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests or rabbis with which you strongly disagreed."

Obama did not say, however, that he had ever expressed his disagreement to Wright or in any way attempted to get Wright to moderate or change his views.

Obama lied, chicken fried, but not from Popeye.

Actually 101, Obama said he wasn't at any of the sermons which produced the clips we have seen over the last few days. He never said he wasn't at church when any controversial statement was made.

Now proceed with you attack that I am just and Obama hack.

~101 Fuckhead

Do you even bother to read the threads around here Airhead or does yer retarded cousin just give you the gist of them and then type up yer replies?

Obama was accused the other day by Bill Kristol the walking wankstain and neo-fascist propagandist at the New York Times of lying about being in church on the day Reverend Wright made the "God Damn" comment.

Bill myKristolballisbroken (just like his other tiny balls) took a fucking Newsmax story as his confirmation. Jesus FUCK Billy Boy, thought Spud, why not just use World Nut Daily or the freakin' Onion, ya POS?

Turns out he was wrong.

(Has he EVAR been right?)

Obama was in Florida that day.

Spud would give you a link to all that but you wouldn't read it so wots the fucking point?

All the right has this time around is lies.

Oh, and a major moronic PTSD case with no economic sense and a serious case of the flip flops who wants to stay in Iraq forever despite America's economy going down the shitter as we speak.

Good luck with all that in November.

He'll be lucky to win ARIZONA.

Be Well.

Tony,

And in an email I wrote to a good friend of mine just after watching Senator Obama I said:

"But truth be told, after watching O speak this afternoon, I want him to be President as much as I fear it.

If only he had more experience. I'm concerned he'll be rolled around like a rag doll by various interest groups and those with their own agendas.

I fear he will have little support from the military.

Nevertheless today I wish this were the person who were leading the country"

Damn, SpudFace! Take a valium or something. Chill out, ol' buddy. I have this mental image of your fat ass sitting at your monitor with bulging eyes, veins protruding in your neck, and a beet red face. You're gonna have a stroke, pal. I know it has to be eating you alive, what with your being IMPOTENT in all this matter. It must kill you to know that everyone on the DR you have been flaming CAN VOTE...and will VOTE AGAINST your guy...and YOU can DO NOTHING!
It would behoove you to take a break, Spudsie. Maybe go watch MTV or something. Go have some nice tofu and a bottle of Perrier. God, I hate to think what might happen to your blood pressure if PINCHE-MAO was to show up now.

GZ...

I haven't seen the type of judgment that Obama continues to show us from any politician in my lifetime and I'm 48 years old. I saw him Saturday here in Indiana, and what I saw is a man who understands the enormity of the tasks ahead of him and who doesn't think it will be easy in the least.

I don't worry about the corporate masters because they don't have anything on this man, and this is why I believe he'll be able to do more of the people's work than anyone in generations. Look at his campaign organization. He's done what everyone said was impossible in defeating the vaunted Clinton machine while making it look old and tired. But he did it from the ground up, not from the top down like Hillary.

Of course, he is no god nor superman. But he will have the wind of an energized public blowing into his sails and hopefully a re-emergent America ready to retake its place as the true purveyor of freedom and the bastion of law-abiding citizens in a free-for-all world.

Actually 101, Obama said he wasn't at any of the sermons which produced the clips we have seen over the last few days. He never said he wasn't at church when any controversial statement was made.

Take it up with the Politico my man, I'm simply relaying the info.
That aside, I'm just busting your chops in regards to Hussien. Although there is some actual "concern" in regards to your over-zealous support of him, I'm aware that you are an ordinarily grounded poster.

I know and I read the same piece as well. If you scroll down in the comments section of that piece you will see readers made the same point.

I don't consider my support "over-zealous" as to many of my friends and some other posters here, but I will admit to being an ardent supporter.

Rev Wright has 8% poll support... Isn't that less than Bush? (and congress)
