To be honest, I have been wondering why he didn't use this point when she first proposed the idea. He is experienced enough to take over on day one, should something happen to her, but not experienced enough to be eleceted to take over on day one?

I'd just pose the question - why would the person running second for the nomination be trying to offer the #2 spot to the one in the lead?

I can't believe he didn't accept the offer. I bet he's the kind of man who doesn't open doors or push in womens chairs either.

W, I know you are joking, but if you watch the debates he actually pulls her chair out for her and stands until she is seated.
