Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

The official record states that senator Robert F Kennedy, like his brother before him, was killed by a crazed lone gunman. But the assassination of a man who seemed to embody so much hope for a bitterly divided country embroiled in an unpopular war still troubles this nation.

Sirhan Sirhan

It's not like it wasn't in public.

"It's not like it wasn't in public."

And it's not like the assassin wasn't wrestled to the ground with the gun in his hand.

"Who killed Bobby Kennedy?"

Thane Eugene Cesar, who was dressed as a security guard. Who fired three bullets point blank into the back of Bobby Kennedy's body when Sirhan provided the distraction firing blanks. it's Cesar's bowtie that Bobby K pulled off as he was falling, and which lays a couple inches from his right hand in the famous photo of him lying on the ground - bleeding from BEHIND his head. Not a drop of blood on the FRONT of his starched white shirt.

Tom Naguchi, L.A. County Coroner, did the auotpsy on RFK. It states that NO bullets entered from the front. An "H-Walker Acid Test" found gunpowder on the front of RFK's clothing - indicating blanks.

The three bullet holes that killed Bobby Kennedy were fired at point blank range behind his right ear, his right shoulder blade area, and his right lower back.

" Los Angeles Coroner Thomas Noguchi, after an autopsy, testified that three bullets entered the Senator's body from the rear and that the fatal shot was fired into his brain from only inches behind his right ear.

A hotel security guard, Thane Eugene Cesar, was behind Kennedy, drew his gun, and at the time owned a .22-cal. revolver similar to Sirhan's."

Cookfish/American 1st.

What assholes you are---we definitely need two countries.

Facts are in this country nobody really cares about the truth and will accept whatever bullshit the government tells them no matter how outrageous it is.

My next door neighbor, and a very close friend of mine, co-authored a book with Bill Turner, who was with the FBI Field Office in L.A. the night of the shooting.

Vince Bugiosi did the legal stuff on the book. I saw a lot of documents.

The book they wrote for Random House, "The Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy - Conspiracy and Coverup" contains the autopsy report, and many pictures from FBI and LAPD files of bullet holes photographed - in door jams and ceiling tiles that later disappeared, this getting the total number of bullets fired down to 8 - the number Sirhan's gun could fire.

Problem is, Sirhan had blanks in his gun. The H-Walker Acid Test (that proved blanks), and the fact there were no bullet holes in the front of RFK prove this point.

"Take the coroner's autopsy. Dr. Thomas Noguchi testified that Kennedy had been killed by a bullet fired no more than three inches from the back of his head. Sirhan, according to many witnesses, was at least three feet in front of the Senator when he shot all eight bullets from his .22-cal. pistol. What's more, FBI investigators found evidence -- from tiles and door jambs destroyed by the L.A.P.D. shortly after the trial -- that 12 or 13 bullets had been fired in the pantry. According to a weapons expert for the L.A.P.D., DeWayne Wolfer, the bullets that killed R.F.K. were unquestionably fired from Sirhan's gun. However, some experts believe that Wolfer did his forensic testing not with Sirhan's gun but with a different .22 cal. weapon -- which police also destroyed."

You clearly speak for yourself, mr. "smokestacks on the moon"

Thanks,Bufflochip...that means a lot coming from such a straightforward thinking individual such as yourself.I mean,it's not like you're a conspiracy theorist, right? You're not looking for hidden agendas/meanings anywhere, are ya? Spare me your hate, loser.

Diagram of bullet entry points from the autopsy of Robert F. Kennedy - fired from behind

No matter which way you look at it,he still comes up dead.

Let me ask you Am-1, if someone shot your dad would you want to know who it was and see them punished? Maybe you Eastern Hillbillies are more sophisticated than your Mid-Western counterparts about things like murder. Maybe I should brush up on my French so we can communicate...
Comme ci, comme ca?

Oz...If it had been my dad,it wouldn't have made the news.I don't much care one way or the other about a rich idealist who "got hisself kilt". During that particular age of Camelot,I was totin' firewood to a number 5 washtub to build a fire under some greenbeans we were canning nine miles from the nearesat paved road. If my manners aren't to your liking'then I dunno what to say. You've got two options at that point, either accept my point of view for what it is,meaning I really don't give a rats ass who killed RFK,or not.Either way,he's still dead, man.

Too bad, he was on the side of common man. From his speech just before being shot:

"Speaking to an ecstatic crowd of eighteen hundred, Kennedy concluded, "I would hope now that the California primary is finished, now that the primary is over, that we can now concentrate on having a dialogue . . . on what direction we want to go in the United States: what we're going to do in the rural areas of this country; what we're going to do for those who still suffer in the United States from hunger; "

Very few people worked as hard as Robert F Kennedy in alleviating poverty - especially in the South.

America lost a golden opportunity with his death. Instead we got Richard Nixon and 8 more years of war and sadness - along with the loss of faith in our government.

I don't know what America you live in America1st. Doesn't sound like it resembles this particular one much. Sad to see someone so cynical that rather than come off as 'American First' your attitude is more of a 'Me First'.

That's what's wrong the most with America: We don't have a sense of national unity over anything. Not even the death of a politician who did the right thing - going after the mob, seeking peace and an end to poverty - even when he paid with his life.

In case you didn't know, the slow moving train carrying his body from Los Angeles east was met with multitudes of mourning Americans, millions who'd lived through the assassination of JFK, Vietnam's huge death toll, and the assassination of MLK,only 2 months before. That in under 5 years. Pile Watergate on top of that and we went into shock - from which we've never recovered. We split along generational, antiwar, rich vs poor regarding draft or no draft, conservative vs liberal.

God it's time we ended a 45 year era of a bushel over America's light and start reaching higher again instead of pointing fingers at each other, or holding disdain and sarcasm for half the American public.

Bobby Kennedy's loss was a huge one for this country.

Oz,I'm looking at it from the viewpoint that it was none of his business if I was hungry or not. That's not the governments place. It was my father's place to feed us until we were able to feed ourselves. The government should not be in the business of making people dependant upon it.

I don't know what America you live in America1st. Doesn't sound like it resembles this particular one much. Sad to see someone so cynical that rather than come off as 'American First' your attitude is more of a 'Me First'.

That's funny as hell,AU,considering the hate you spew on a continual basis towards the right..."Unity" in your world must mean "your way" EH?

I think it was probably Marilyn Monroe who did Johnny and Bobby. It was probably one of the first cases of aids and in order for the govt. to hide it from the people until they could figure out how to deal with it they had both of them shot by offshoring the job to kgb hit men.

I can't say for certain, but it is plausible.

AMERICAN1ST

It's pretty clear you have no recollection of the 60's. I'd guess you're too young.

Poverty was not a result of laziness. It was a product of a system that didn't leave a level playing field for millions of Americans. Where there WAS no opportunity to make enough to feed your family for millions of Americans.

During the Great Depression, most of the country was out of work. There were bread lines that stretched for blocks. Mostly white people. Proof that when there is no opportunity anyone is susceptible to being unable to feed their families.

Those in a democratic society who have enough, or more than enough, have always pointed to those with less and blamed their laziness.

Count your blessings.

"Those in a democratic society who have enough, or more than enough, have always pointed to those with less and blamed their laziness."

What utter bullshit. Neighbors have always known/observed who's trying and who isn't.

You only bullshit yourself pal.

I have nothing whatsoever against the 'right'.

I do have a problem with NeoCons who use flippant rhetoric to mock the loyal opposition.

What hate spewing are you talking about? My calling Bush a spade? Anyone with 2 brain cells knows he's a horrible president who's done a terrible job. Nearly 80% of the country thinks so. Only 13% think he's done a 'good' or 'excellent' job. So, that's hardly a partisan view.

The Republicans I know personally have good hearts. Real conservatives are just as angry at those who parade as conservatives yet never hesitate to tear 'THEM!' down. Face it, Bush and this bunch aren't conservatives.

Barry Goldwater. Now THERE was a conservative! But, he said it's none of his business what a woman chooses to do, fiscal responsibility and a strong military are priorities, we don't need to tear the other side down.

I don't know what to call the Rush types. "Complete Assholes" comes to mind. They haven't done a thing to build us up as a country. It's all about tearing "THEM!" down. They got their 6 years of total control and look how they squandered it.

I don't believe in the government running people's lives, but fair labor standards, roads and bridges, safe drinking water and sewage treatment, building schools...all that stuff is what government can do if it has leadership.

We ate well enough, though you could tell which day it was by the meal, mom had a routine, and my family was straight ticket Republican. So there was no love for the Kennedy family. Yet that also means we believed in Law and Order, and that means finding and punishing anyone connected to a crime.

I'm just saying...

AU,I know way more about poverty than you ever will. I have the cane press from 1909 that my family made molasses with...and the dump-style hayrake from 1928 that my great grand father bought new. I also have the entire blacksmith shop ,a couple of plows, drag harrows, and slipscrapers. Applebutter kettles, stirrers, along with a lot of other stuff.I have the mandolin my daddy worked for a nickel a day to save 20 dollars to get when he was 13 yrs old. I have the egg carton my great-grandfather carried eggs into the mining counties to the south of here and traded for staples lik coffee and sugar. I know more about being self-reliant than 99.999999% of the people on this board. I've been on welfare and I know too well the phsycological damage it does to a man's ego, even if that ego is but 7 yrs old. I've lived my life clawing and scratching to get to the point that I am,not by waiting on the government, but by the sweat of my brow and the ache in my back.I do not want a government to solve any of my problems, unless, and until,I have exhauseted all other avenues of attempt. Do NOT presume to tell me anything about blessings...I am one.

Me too American1st. Nothing was given to me - but opportunity.

Too many young people won't have the same opportunities you and I had to crawl into the middle class. Times are a changing in a bad way. Without decent paying jobs - millions of which have left our shores the last 7 years - your story and mine will be more the exception than the rule.

Oz,I've eaten a tractor-trailer load of pinto beans in my life...and they're STILL one of my favorite meals.

FYI

My dad was left fatherless at 12 when he dropped out of school during The Depression to feed his 7 younger brothers and sisters. He made $5 a month.

We don't need to have that conversation.

Bobby Kennedy helped bring oopportunity to millions.

I'm very sorry he was killed. Part of America died with him.

AU,I know way more about poverty than you ever will.

Oh yeah? Well my dad was poorer than your dad. *grin*

Here are a couple of pictures of him when he was a baby and the house he was born into. Olahoma ca 1935 aka "dustbowl". Real grapes of wrath stuff.

i239.photobucket.com

No can presses, no blacksmith shop, barely a house it looks like.

Goat,I've pictures that would "equal" those...just as hardscrabble...

Times are a changing in a bad way. Without decent paying jobs

AU...you do not see it as I do. This country is so wealthy that our kids no longer will work, period. They've lost the shame that I felt for drawing welfare. They're immune to ridicule in the way I wasn't. They look for nothing more than tomorrow, because the world is such a crappy place,it's not gonna be here next week. They're told this all the time by the media. The core principle that used to bind us all, good or bad, black or white, was the fact we were all Americans, first. There's no promotion of citizenry in school anymore...no sense of civic duty to hold country above self. The left has eradicated it from the conscious of America. They have, most likely, won. The only thing remaining is the slow agonizing death.

A good cook can make anything taste good. I like pintos too, especially with peppers, little beer, and slow cooked for a day or two.

Anytime I start to feel sorry for myself I look around for someone who has it worse.

I have to say that list of implements and mementoes you've got makes me a bit jealous. My sister forced an auction of my parent's stuff - one bid, all or none - but I got my dad's tools out of there, and all the family photos.

Heritage is something too few value.

I'll have to admit the cane mill is now junk, since it was in a barn fire, but It's going to reside on this hill at least as long as I do,Oz.

AMERICAN1ST

I trace your apt description of many of today's American youth to the events I listed above: The threat of imminent nuclear annihilation by the Soviets, assassinations of JFK, MLK, RFK, the Vietnam War, Watergate. However,

It all added up. We became a consumer society where 'he who dies with the most wins'. Greed set in. We became a 'live for today for tomorrow we die'.

If we're going to have a future that inspires young people again, it's going to take a leader who can express that. Motivate and mobilize. Much as JFK did in his 1961 inagural address. We reached for the moon. Anything was possible.

I'd just like to point out that it was Democrats who won every worker right there is from the 40 hour workk week, minimum wage, working standards, FHA (so you could buy a house), the GI Bill (that enabled millions to get an education and buy a house), and on and on.

The days of 60's liberalism and huge government programs as the solution to solve all our problems were tried and now the problems with the 60's versions were fixed via Welfare Reform, etc. That label no longer is apropro to today's progressive agenda.

But, if we're draining living wage jobs like a cracked dam, sooner or later no amount of hard work will be enough for most to acheive even the minimum of the American dream - buying a house, supporting a family on one income (which is hard now), paying for college and health care.

You have to admit we're not exactly on the rise in America. All indicators are that we're falling fast. An agenda of tax cuts won't bail us out of our looming fiscal crisis. Heck, we're spending only $50 billion shy on interest to service the national debt as we do on Defense. What a waste of money going into a hole that leads to China.

I support Barack Obama because I see him as our best shot at restoring some vision, balance, and trust in our government. To inspire young people to care about their country and fellow citizens. Obama's campaign has proven that they're willing to work for a better future. They want the same opportunities we had to live comfortably in the middle class.

We're all in this boat together. If we continue rowing in different directions constantly we'll continue to go in circles, and eventually run out of energy before we ever get our feet on solid ground again as a nation with a common purpose.

. I like pintos too,

I know what you mean. Of all the other choices to eat this evening, I just got through eating pinto beans, catfish, and a jalapeno. An orange for dessert. But they didn't make cornbread tonight. Pissed me off! It's almost always on the line.

Passed by the lasagna, gumbo with real crab, and baked chicken.

(sorry for all the typos and bad punctuation. I didn't proof before posting)

I like pintos too. Good for ya.

Anytime I start to feel sorry for myself I look around for someone who has it worse.

LOL. My dad used to say a very similiar thing. Whenever I started whining about something he'd always tell me, "Son, there's someone somewhere who has it worse than you".

Of all the other choices to eat this evening...

We're a sad bunch when it comes to taste. I bought fresh jalapenos, a 6 lb can of beans, and another of crushed tomatoes, and four pounds of hamburger today at the store. I'll have the freezer stocked this weekend.

What I really miss is my mom's fried chicken. I've give up trying.

Howya doin' GOATMAN? I meant to contact you the other night, but we had a trashcan fire in the basement that resulted in 2 fire trucks and a basement full of one of our chemical extinguishers to clean up. First and last time I ever empty an ashtray in the trash unless it's been sitting a long time. It turned into a 2 day project getting everything vacuumed, cleaned off individually, etc.

I counted my blessings when that's all it turned out to be. The house was full of smoke. SCARY!!!!! God was watching over me for sure! I usually seem to get the least of what could have been a horrible situation. Maybe there's something to Karma afterall.

On your dad's saying, how true, how true. My life is a testament to all those who helped me without anything to gain. Only later in my life did I find their secret: Helping someone else is the best feeling in the world.

What I really miss is my mom's fried chicken. I've give up trying.

Ditto, but grandmother's chicken. (That's the woman in the picture above. She was 1/4 Indian. She looked it) For Sunday dinner when I was a kid, she would kill one of the chickens from the chicken house. She chose decapitation vs neck wringing. For some reason, she always sent me and my cousin away, but we peeked around the washhouse and watched with morbid fascination as she put the chicken's neck on the block. After she gutted it though, my cousin and I had to pluck the feathers.

Every dinner in the summer always had sliced cantaloupe, tomatoes, and sliced onion from her garden. We usually had black eyed peas (which I had usually shucked the night before) and fried okra from her garden.

Anytime I start to feel sorry for myself I look around for someone who has it worse.

Unfortunately, you don't have to look far here in WV for that. But even here,I can't hire anyone to work for me for 10 bucks an hour. Everyone wants me to pay them up front, and catch them when(and if) I can. It's ridiculus.

AU...I don't think socialism is an option, and Obama (as well as Hillary) have made more than overt gestures in that direction. Not that McCain't is any better. I feel we need to preserve what we had,and by trying to punish the large corporations thru taxesmwe only tax ourselves. If you lay a levy of a million bucks on them, they jack the price up by a million buvcks. Never-ending cycle.

fried okra from her garden.

NOW you're talkin'! I love fried green tomatoes,as well as zuchinni and summer squash.

I'm doing great, AU. Just got back to the rig today. Had a water survival course in New Orleans yesterday. We had to escape underwater from a simulated helicopter upside down in a pool. My nose still stings from being suspended by my seat belt upside down and underwater. Bi-annual requirement. But OTOH, I would not want to be doing it for the first time during a real crash in the Gulf of Mexico

I had a household emergency last week too. LSS, toilet exploded and flooded the entire back part of my house. I ran to walmart and bought a 12 gallon shop vac. Took me four hours to get it all up. I'm hoping no permanent damage (I don't have carpet) 'cause insurance is a pain in the ass to deal with.

Not at all. Day after day post after post. YOu should know what that's like.

We need two countries--Americans hate each other too much to be unified. America is dead---poeple you killed it.

After she gutted it though, my cousin and I had to pluck the feathers.

hmm. Now that I think about it, it was the other way around, I believe. First plucking, then gutting. Hell, I can't remember.

Obviously something I never did again after she died!

I'm speaking for you and every other poster on this thread who hasn't questioned the bullet count of asked questions about what really happened. My point is proven by your posts and every one elses. No one is seeking the truth--no one cares about it. Case closed.

With two countries--we'd know who killed Kennedy. I'm sure Sirhan could be tested to see if he is telling the truth, and if there were mind control involved, maybe he could be deprogrammed and find out the source. But what do you care--that would involve questioning the government.

AU: So no damage that required an insurance claim? Was the fire contained to the trash can? With two firetrucks and all the chemicals, it sounds a bit more serious than a simple trash can fire!

we only tax ourselves

That really gets me, especially on public works projects. Tax money pays for it, but then they skim it back with income tax. You'd think they be smart enough to cap the profit at 10% and zero the tax. Companies could save on accountants and lawyers and probably do better than now because they could focus their energies and assets on doing the work.

Obama says he'll cut taxes on corporations that do business in American, but any tax is a hidden tax on the consumer.

Tax imports not American goods.

Two countries fixes it. One country for liberals and one for conservatives. I guess you don't question this either. How many gunshots heard on the tape? How many in the gun? Hey look--something shiny. You aren't an American--you need your own country.

Yes, boob -- two countries, two countries, two fucking countries are what we need. You are right. That would solve everything.

Now STFU, please?

Christ on a crutch!

How many corporations have passed along the savings they gained outsourcing to India and China to the American consumer? Most don't care about America in this day of globalization.

Taxes smaxes. Giving them tax credits to outsource jobs is about the dumbest thing our government could do. How many billions in income tax revenues do you think unemployed and underemployed workers suffering the effects of outsourcing aren't paying anymore?

They don't have OUR best interests at heart. For example, I for one feel that corporations like Halliburton and KBR - who reap billions in profits from government contracts - should pay U.S. taxes on that income rather than open offices in the Caymen Islands (with no one in the office) to skirt tax laws.

Heck, we're still paying off the $250 BILLION we spent bailing out the Savings & Loan mess from the 90's. Fair is fair. One can't say it's fair to give corporations every tax benefit there is and then gripe about the government helping out citizens who suffer as a consequence is it?

AU: So no damage that required an insurance claim? Was the fire contained to the trash can? With two firetrucks and all the chemicals, it sounds a bit more serious than a simple trash can fire!

No damage. The can was smoldering and filled the house with thick smoke. I called 911 as soon as I saw it. Thought at first my wife had burned the casserole in the oven (which was charred and smoking), but when I saw it heavy in other rooms I dialed immediately, got the dogs to the neighbors, and grabbed the extinguisher. The smoke was so think in the basement I couldn't tell where it was coming from, so I sprayed everywhere and created a hell of a dry chemical mess (the dry chemical extinguishers fire out a fine powder). The firetrucks responded due to my 911 call, and they were nice enough to pull out fans and blow the smoke out of the house. I ended up going for a huge chocolate cake and we all had a victory party for a couple of hours. My lucky night for sure.

How many corporations have passed along the savings they gained outsourcing to India and China to the American consumer? Most don't care about America in this day of globalization.

Could globalization be a natural equalization of the world's wealth? What do you think?

Who killed Bobby Kennedy. Who cares.

I ended up going for a huge chocolate cake and we all had a victory party for a couple of hours.

Sounds better than burned casserole. *grin*

No one is seeking the truth...Sirhan could be tested

b00b you are a drama queen for sure.

Why would a guy make a movie if he didn't care.

Why the effort to find Cesar's gun?

Why do we find blogs and website dedicated to illuminating the facts?

BTW, Sirhan has been tested and hypnotized to no avail.

It's true that most people are either ignorant or absorbed in their own lives, but people do care, and those with the skill and resources continue to investigate the murders of the Kennedys.

There are two Americas though. The one we live in and the fantasy that you and who knows how many freaks live in.

What we know is that you hate America, and love anyone who would tear it down. Good thing you're an impotent old fart. Why don't you go "clean" those guns you don't have a right to own.

Who killed Bobby Kennedy.

Who cares.

I do. We haven't been the same since.

I wouldn't know. I threw the casserole in the garbage - except for about 1/4 of it that wasn't burned I fed the dogs later for being such good sports amid all the turmoil.

"Could globalization be a natural equalization of the world's wealth? "

Depends on what sense of the word "globalization" you are using. There is the form of globalization that has been going on since the beginning of civilization as technology develops and spreads, and then there is corporate managed globalization enhanced by neoliberal trade and market policies adopted beginning in the 70s .

I fed the dogs later for being such good sports amid all the turmoil.

The article clearly points out the obvious...

Audio recording

"Now Van Praag has added new weight to the 'two shooters' theory. He reanalysed the only audio recording of the shooting, which was made by an independent journalist, Stanislaw Pruszynski. "At the time Pruszynski was not even aware that his recorder was still on," said Van Praag.

The recording quality is poor, but it is possible to make out 13 shots over the course of just over 5 seconds, before what Van Praag describes as "blood-curdling screams" obscure the sound. That is more than the eight rounds that Sirhan's cheap Iver Johnson Cadet 55 revolver carried.

Also, there are two pairs of double shots that occurred so close together it is inconceivable that Sirhan could have fired them all. The third and fourth shots and the seventh and eighth were separated by 122 and 149 milliseconds respectively. In tests, a trained firearms expert firing under ideal conditions could only manage 366 milliseconds between shots using the same weapon. And he was not being pinned to a table at the time.

Frequency anomalies

Lastly, five of the shots - 3, 5, 8, 10 and 12 in the sequence - were found to have odd acoustic characteristics when specific frequencies were analysed separately. Van Praag thinks this is because they came from a different gun pointing away from Pruszynski's microphone.

To recreate this he recorded the sounds made by firing the Iver Johnson and another revolver, a Harrison and Richardson 922. At least one member of Kennedy's entourage was carrying this weapon when the killing happened. In the acoustic tests it produced the same frequency anomalies Van Praag had seen in the original recording but only when fired away from the microphone.

He presented his results on Thursday at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences annual meeting in Washington DC."

www.guardian.co.uk

so why would mainstream press finally allow this sort of info out? JFK jr's & Wellstone's ghosts are inquiring!:>)

Who killed Bobby Kennedy.

When after all It was you and me

Well according to Mick.

But I have an iron clad alibi.

When JFK died, I cried. I cried that day and the day after and the day after that.

Of course, I was an infant then.

Cheers

Just like his brothers assination, the investigators, and the media tried to make this sound like a completely investigated and solved case, but there are many unanswered questions and anomalies about this case, that deserves more scrutiny.
Much like 911.....

The Cover-up

In 1968 it was not a federal offence to murder a presidential candidate. The case, therefore, came under LAPD juristriction. The investigation was based on the wish of Police Chief Ed Davis that it would not be "another Dallas." Whether this meant an intense, professional investigation or a tighter cover-up is debatable.

As the case was the responsibility of the LAPD, there was no pressure to release their findings, the "Summary Report". Researchers into the RFK Assassination finally forced the Report and the LAPD's files to be released, in 1988. Compare this to 1964 for the Warren Commission Report (the year after JFK's assassination) and it becomes obvious why the official version of the assassination has been unchallenged, despite the obvious complications.

After the release of the files, it became clear to what extent the cover-up had been carried out. Evidence which contradicted the official version was destroyed. The more extreme acts of destruction included:

* 2,400 photographs burned because they were "duplicates." In fact, there were no lists precise enough to show that all the photos destroyed were indeed duplicates.
* Ceiling tiles and the door frame from the pantry destroyed, because, according to then Assistant Chief Daryl Gates, they wouldn't fit into card files.

In addition, LAPD records showed that they had recorded 3,470 interviews during the course of the investigation. Only 301 interviews were released. Examination by researchers showed that for 51 key "conspiracy" witnesses, there were no interviews.

The LAPD were not alone in conducting this cover-up. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office was also involved. The scope of this involvement was seen in the files released to researchers in 1985, due mainly to the inclusion of a box of tapes, videos and documents sent from the LADA branch at Van Nuys. This box contained evidence which went against the official version. The most graphic examples were the video reconstructions from 1968 and 1977, which prove that Sirhan could not have inflicted the wounds on Senator Kennedy. However, by using selected stills from the reconstructions, the official version was supported.

The coverup of the RFK assassination has been maintained because the facts are simply not known. Whereas the Warren Commission report was released the year following the JFK assassination, LAPD's "Summary Report" was not released until 1986. The files were released two years later. Both of these achievements were made despite strong LAPD/LADA resistance, for obvious reasons.

The RFK assassination was not investigated in by the House Select Commitee on Assassinations because of the seemingly open and shut nature of the case. Now that the facts are known, perhaps it is time that the RFK assassination was investigated. While the JFK assassination has reached the point where the answer is "Oswald might have done it or he might not have", there is no possible way that Sirhan could have inflicted the wounds on Senator Kennedy. All that is required is the official investigation.
homepages.tcp.co.uk

Stupid question!!! How many people saw the man shoot RFK???

I guess it makes more sense to investigate that than the baseball deal.

Smells like a bucket of BS.

SNIPER

Everyone was looking at Sirhan, but the facts are that RFK was shot at point blank range 3 times from behind. So says the autopsy. Sirhan was at least 3 feet in front of Bobby Kennedy. There were no bullet holes in the front of his body.

You may ask, "why didn't they bring that up at Sirhan's trial?". Well, Tom Noguchi, then a junior coroner, wanted to testify on Sirhan's behalf for the defense. He was given a temporary 'sabbatical' during Sirhan's trial, and promised permanent removal from the L.A. County Coroner's Office if he spoke out publicly.

I'm no conspiracy nut. I just know you can't shoot someone from a distance of 0-3 inches in the back of their head or back when you're standing 3 feet in front of them. I've also seen FBI and LAPD photos of FBI forensic techs measuring bullet holes in door jams and ceiling tiles that later disappeared - getting the number of shots down to what one gunman could fire.

Something definitely stinks about RFK's assassination.

"...either accept my point of view for what it is,meaning I really don't give a rats ass who killed RFK,or not.Either way,he's still dead, man."

Way to go, American1st. You speak for many Drudgies!

In jarring situations where violence occurs, ordinary people slip into altered states of shock; details become a blur. It's not surprising that the witnesses were all giving conflicting accounts of exactly what happened at the moment of the shooting. Professional assasins can count on that virtually every time. Most people have never even been within 8 feet of a handgun firing; to experience that for the first time must have been completely unsettling and disorienting.

Oz...If it had been my dad,it wouldn't have made the news.I don't much care one way or the other about a rich idealist who "got hisself kilt".

Who Killed RFK?

"A great American hero did it"

-The Right

Nixon and the mafia

Wow, who'da thought the LAPD would be involved? I remember watching a doc on this on the history channel, the LAPD destroyed the evidence and the officer who undoubtedly shot RFK had given an interview about how RFK was going to give the colords the advantage in the upcoming race war.

LAPD: America's #1 terrorist organization.

Facts are in this country nobody really cares about the truth and will accept whatever bullshit the government tells them no matter how outrageous it is.

RFK knew all about the fake Apollo missions and was going public with it. He HAD to be neutralized

God it's time we ended a 45 year era of a bushel over America's light

"America is a bright shining city on a hill."

I've eaten a tractor-trailer load of pinto beans in my life...and they're STILL one of my favorite meals.

I grew up eating beans six days a week.

Before he died I had my uncle over for dinner, and he said the kindest thing: "You made chicken I could eat."

He grew up on a farm during the Depression and for probably 10 years they had nothing but apples and chicken. He always said that he was thankful for World War II -- only because the Navy fed him potatoes three times a day. It was a welcome change.

It's pretty clear you have no recollection of the 60's. I'd guess you're too young.

Poverty was not a result of laziness. It was a product of a system that didn't leave a level playing field for millions of Americans.

I am old enough to remember the 70s and what a misery the Left made of it.
Sure The Left leveled the playing field but they leveled it so that everyone was poor.
The Left levels things out by stomping on people's faces.

The facts are these:
80s-now - Republicans in charge of either the White House or Congress == prosperity with recessions thrown in
70s - Democrats in charge == stagflation.

I also know enough to look beyond the MSM headlines and look at the true economic numbers and how my neighbors are doing (well).
During Republican administrations, the MSM out and out lies about the economy. They can no longer be trusted.

You take issue with my point of view? If so,too fukin' bad,jack...it's a free country, lest ye forget.

Just to get the conspiracy theorists going-Jackie O had Bobby killed to revenge Bobby having John killed-his romances were about to get public and kill RFK's chances as Pres. Jackie had Onassis set it up because Ari had ties to the PLO, whom he was paying off to protect his fleet (this is true). That's why she married him..
Do I believe it? No.

I'll save everybody the trouble....Bush's fault.

American1st, the more you post this bullshit the more obvious it is - even to you uptight Conservatives - just what an astoundingly lousy President Bush has been. What you want to try to do at this stage is to just forget the past eight years. Typing "Bush's fault", "Bush's fault", "Bush's fault" over and over does nothing to defend the Republican cause. It's just a lame and constant reminder of massive failure.

Bush sucks. You suck. The whole Conservative movement right now sucks. Learn to live with this reality and one day you might actually start to develop.

Shooters were coordinated to fire at the same exact moment?

Theres the same kind of enigma in the JFK assassination,as far as multiple shooters are concerned. This enigma is about "Timing"! How did two or more shooters at the JFK or RFK assassinations, coordinate the timing of their initial gun blasts so close together? Oswald,in the Tx.Book Depository bldg.was a long distance from the other purported shooter on the grassy knoll. So how did they time their initial shots so close together that it was almost split second timing?
The experts are claiming that the same "split second" timing of different assassin's shots occurred at Robert Kennedy's murder. In either case how could this have been so well coordinated that the shooters fired at virtually the same instance?

"How did two or more shooters at the JFK or RFK assassinations, coordinate the timing of their initial gun blasts so close together?"

Car A reaches Point B - Fire. Pretty fucking easy.

In either case how could this have been so well coordinated that the shooters fired at virtually the same instance?

Robert Kennedy Assassination: Intimidation of a witness.

Click for Serrano Interrogation. Wave format(732K)
This is the official LAPD audio tape of the lie detector test given to witness Sandy Serrano who claimed she saw a woman in a polka dot dress running from the Robert Kennedy assassination exclaiming "We shot him". The interviewing officer, LAPD Detective Hank Hernandez, was rumored to have intelligence connections, which would explain his having administered a lie detector test to the dictator of Venzuela just prior to doing the same to Sandy Serrano. This audio tape excerpt of the interview was obtained by Serrano's lawyers when she sued the LAPD.

I include this audio sample here to prove an historical tendency for law enforcement officials with intelligence connections to harass and intimidate witnesses. There is no confusing whatsoever that Hernandez' intent is to convince Sandy Serrano to alter her story. Hernandez spent 50 minutes trying to get Sandy to alter her story. This tape covers only a small portion of what went on.

Given this prior proof of such practices, claims by present witnesses of attempts to coerce their testimony in regards to the Vincent Foster affair cannot easily be dismissed.

www.whatreallyhappened.com

RFK was a lousey Attorney General and people forget that he had been boinking Marylynn Monroe. We're better off that he never made President.

One other point about the JFK assassination I never understood is just why did Lee Harvey Oswald, after he shot JFK,just "leave" his incriminating rifle in the same room at the Book Depository, that he'd just shot and committed this major crime from? Oswald must have done some planning and had gathered the necessary info he needed about JFK's parade route etc. - plus the official story stated that Oswald had bought that scoped rifle previously from a mail order store to shoot JFK.This indicates that this wasn't just a spurt of the moment assassination!

It doesn't make any sense that Oswald wouldn't at least try to take and conceal the rifle somewhere else during his get away - like even behind a bookcase or dump it in the alley.I mean just the fact that he was an employee at the Book Depository would eventually have brought him into focus at some time in the police investigation.Did Oswald consider any of this "self incriminating" evidence when he first planned to shoot JFK from his place of employment?
Its either Oswald didn't care if he was caught (but then why did he run and why later did he (purportedly) shoot that cop at the theatre?) or theres the remaining possibility that Oswald never actually committed the JFK shooting - that it really was all a set_up?

One other point about the JFK assassination I never understood is just why did Lee Harvey Oswald, after he shot JFK,just "leave" his incriminating rifle in the same room at the Book Depository, that he'd just shot and committed this major crime from?

He probably didn't want to be seen wandering downtown Dallas with an assault rifle right after the President got shot, ya think?

This is the thread in which I finally realize that the DR is pointless.

If you think it is a coincidence that every energetic idealist leader in this country gets whacked or "Bushwhacked" and replaced by a pro-war, corporate whore, than you are too stupid to rationalize anything written by a real student of politics.

Sirhan Sirhan.

That was easy.

Anti- The JFK conspiracy theories have been fully debunked every which way -- and there is a great documentary titled "Beyond Conspiracy" that has been aired numerous times which uses modern forensic technology to prove that Oswald acted alone.

Here's a link to that documentary:

HA! I've got you all beat: my dad was so poor he never got ANY fucking photographs. Just a lot of stories that describe a Grapes Of Wrath-like experience, only without the nice government camp they finally found.

In my neck of he woods for a reprted fire inside a structure such as yours would be a "first alarm" response; 3 engines, 1 truck, 1 light & air, 1 BC.

Bowa - your continuing ability to accept what information authority hands you, without question, possibly goes a long way to explaining why you are now an officially lost, but talkative, sheep in the 2008 election debate.

Sitdown, and just who do you believe, Michael Moore????????

This is just as plausable as the other B.S. thrown around here by these freaks, The Kingons killed RFK.

your continuing ability to accept what information authority hands you, without question,

Sitdown, am continually questioning and researching information to form my opinions. Unlike you apparently, I've heard from all sides before coming to a conclusion. You on the other hand are the worst kind of "sheep" -- your hatred of "authority" blinds you to any ability to be objective.

And anyone who thinks the Oswald did not act alone or 9/11 was an "inside job" for that matter has got to be a total moron. There is just too much information to the contrary.

Wait, it was Darth Vader who killed FRK. Yeah, that's the ticket...... Wait, it was corpoate america, no it was Bush, It could have been my neighbor.

Funny how obama sounds alot like rfk, all talk no substance.. hope, dreams, blah, blah blah. Pandering to the lazy masses who want something for nothing.

08R4EVER and BOWA:

I did not in any way express my own beliefs on either the JFK or RFK assassinations.

But you assume that by questioning your blind faith in what you receive as truth, I, by definition, believe something else. Not the case.

You, BOWA, simply announce that my "hatred of authority blinds (me) to any ability to be objective".

Evidence for that pronouncement is ZERO.

You see why I question you now?

Sit, If it was a conspiracy we will never know for sure. To much tme has passed and I am sure any participants are long since dead. Time to move on.

OK, you are ignorant. BTW the Klingons killed RFK.

bocaink;

my brother has a MA in business, he is a lettercarrier
my daughter has a MA in art history, she is a bartender.

me, I only have an AS and I retired at 51.

What is your point here boy?????

I am sure any participants are long since dead. Time to move on.

With no regard for the truth of the matter?

There is some deterrence in being found out, even if you die before the revelation - unless of course you're psychopathic. But perhaps more germane is how such a person would develop within or without a government. There's no sense in enabling people who would do such a thing.

All that aside, there's no statute of limitations on murder. If it can be proved that Sirhan did not kill Robert Kennedy, but only attempted to do so, then the case should be reopened.

How can you prove it if everyone is dead? If there is nobod to tell how eerything was faked, reprts doctored, etc? you can't, it would all be conjecture. maybe mike moore can in his nex movie.

How can you prove it if everyone is dead?

That's your assumption, which is at least one step below conjecture, born of apathy or some perverse form of indulgence.

Whatever...... When you actually prove who did it, get back to me.

The Klingons killed RFK----Spoken like a true American of the last half of the 20th century. Who blew up the WTC---Klingons blew up the WTC, Who fucking cares---they didn't raise my taxes did they?
Some people care about the truth. The truth is that there are millions and millions like him

Sirhan attacks from the front. Kennedy suffers four shots from the rear with the killing shot coming from so close behind his ear there were powder marks. More shots were proven to be fired than came from Sirhans gun. Our nations future was changed. The true and best answer from fellow Americans?

Klingons did it.

Hey Bob, Elvis is stil alive. It is all a conspiracy, no really............... Quick go fid him.....

08R4ver

Elvis was a Klingon. Elvis killed RFK and attacked the WTC and actually shot Lincoln and spends his weekend as Michael Jackson.

Your posts are full of stupidity and hatred for America and everything America stands for. Join your millions of fellow Klingons and vote for McCain. He's just like you and will lead America further down the path you love so much. The path of ignorance and the Truth of "Klingons Did It".

Oh bob, that was not nice... You should just stay there in your parents basement, it really is much safer for you there than in the real world.

Who sold arms for hostages? Klingons did it. Who got a blow job in the White HOuse Klingons did it. Who attacked Iraq? Klingons did it. Who sold us out to China? Klingons did it.

My point is "Pops,"

that I know what I'm talking about.

I really don't care what you do with the second half of your life. I've devoted mine so far to knowing what the fuck I'm talking about.

Ignorance is bliss, but stupidity is entertaining.

BTW,

If you "retired" by age 51, it means that:

A: you didn't like what you did for most of your adult life.

or

B: you really sucked at it and gave it up.

Either way, I wouldn't want to follow in your footsteps.

Who Killed JFK?

May 28, 2003 - 19:02

Shortly before President John F. Kennedy was murdered in Dallas, Texas, he made certain statements, any one of which would align powerful antagonistic forces against him:
1) He would eliminate the CIA,

2) He would issue Treasury greenbacks (which don't pay interest) in lieu of financing government deficits through the Federal Reserve, and

3) He spoke against empowering the state of Israel with nuclear capability.

Final Judgment: The Missing Link in the JFK Assassination Conspiracy
"...Conspiracy theories abound regarding the Kennedy assassination. However, a new well-written and documented book sites compelling evidence that the Israel's Mossad and David Ben Gurion were behind the assassination. The reason: Kennedy's disagreement with Ben Gurion's nuclear program...."

"...What the book does say is that: When New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison charged businessman Clay Shaw with participation in the JFK assassination conspiracy Garrison stumbled upon the Israeli Mossad connection to the murder of President Kennedy. Shaw served on the board of a shadowy corporation known as Permindex. A primary shareholder in Permindex was the Banque De Credit International of Geneva, founded by Tibor Rosenbaum, an arms procurer and financier for the Mossad..."
