Bottom line here is that if Hill gets the nod this will sink her in states where it is uber close. If Obama gets the nod it will have less impact but it could still hurt in places like Ohio and Florida.

Gore lost the state by 500 votes (it is alleged).

To get an idea consider that Florida elected Jeb twice. Jeb may be brighter than George but he is also less ethical, more "devious" and the only good thing I can think of to say about the GWB presidency is that it will probably prevent brother Jeb from ever becoming president.
