Pelosi is such a strong leader that they'll be certain to listen to her......

Further FL and MI should not count if it changes the result of the contest.

Any democrat crying about the Florida elections or diebold or whatever from hear on out, that does not call for Pelosi's resignation is a hypocrite.

Only count the florida and Michigan votes if it doesn't matter. If it means something just piss on them and throw them in the Gulf...

She was going to cut Bush's war spending too. A good politician always tells the children what they want to hear.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi -- who may be the most super delegate of all as chair of the Democratic national convention in Denver -- gave an interview with Bloomberg TV's Al Hunt in which she laid down the law for super delegates:

Hillary to Pelooney..."Why don't you talkto Al's brother Mike? I'm sure we can werk this allout if you'll just talk to Mike Hunt...yeah...that's the ticket,Nanci...talk to Mike Hunt..."

A1st - what are you, seven years old? I'll bet you still ding-dong-ditch and make crank phone calls too.

She said the Florida and Michigan delegates should not be seated if those delegates would decide the nomination. "Well, I don't think that any states that operated outside the rules of the party can be dispositive of who the nominee is. That is to say they can't make the difference because then we would have no rules," she said.

the bottom line of this makes sense though i would carry it further and not allow fl or mi in at all. they broke the rules their party set down... send them home with their collective tails between their legs or it'll happen again and again.

and here is another problem with this democrat nonsense of upper class, mucky muck, holier than thou superdelegate stuff....
reported in houston chronicle that both the clinton and obama committees have given at least 890,000 to campaigns of super delegates according to center for responsive politics.
obama gave 694,000 and hillary gave 195,000.....what a scam this must be.
and if its not a scam it has to be a really large you scratch my back and Ill scratch yours party......

The rules are the rules,

FL and MI should not count as they knew the rules and broke them anyway. Letting those votes count will only encourage more of this same behavior.

The super delegates, as much as I don't like them, are the way the party was setup. Don't start changing the rules in the middle of it because you don't like the outcome.

BTW, righties, why are your panties in such a bunch? It's not your party so shut the fuck up about it.

It has no bearing on your candidate, the flip flopping grandpa munster.

Pelosi is just another War Profiteer as far as Spud is concerned. She's not the baby, merely the dirty bathwater that needs to be thrown out.

The FL/MI delegate thing? Coupla thoughts.

First, a do-over. Hillary won't want this, of course, with Obamentum coming on strong but it is a possibility. Second, split the delegate right up the middle so that there is no advantage to either Hill or Barack or conversely no delegates from either place in order to impose the will of the DNC carrying out threats in order to forestall further troubles of this sort in later election cycles. Third, split the delegates up the middle but give a larger number of them to Obama because Hill broke the rules by leaving her name of the ballot.

All of those scenarios work out in Obama's favor, btw.

Later Shrillary. Hopefully you will go back to the Senate and do a fine job leading there but you aren't welcome as a Veep candidate and you aint gonna be POTUS.

Be Well.

/If the superdelegates counter the will of the people they will destroy the Dem party. The rethugs look pretty broken up right now considering they've broken up into their three component warring camps again but never doubt that those mindless herds of sheeple will line up dutifully come Novemeber and vote for whoever they are told to cos that's wot dittoheaded GOPhers do.

//Hillary's campaign seems to be mostly about Hillary, her "inevitability, the fact that she's the first serious woman candidate, the "fact" that it's "her turn"

///Obama's campaign is about the fierce urgency of now that calls so loudly for change from one end of the country to the other. It's about people working hard together to affect that change. It's about the future.

////Aren't slashies fun?! Woo Hoo! Yes, we can!

Members of the house (if any) certainly will. Ask Jane Harmon. Pelosi can be a tough bitch when necessary, and she hold ultimate power in the House, nothwithstanding Ride's cutsy little remark.

I think Pelosi is hot... Anyone else see what I see?

You're an Oldman Oldman. Anything younger than Dirt is attractive to an Oldman.

Oldman, stay away from the Viagra!

RETN-

So true. My problem is that most of the people here want to put an inexperienced Obama in the Whitehouse to compliment this incompetent woman and her sidekick, Harry Reid, who's got to be the worst Senate leader ever, and should be doing hard time in a Nevada state prison.

Rogers , thank you for changing the headline, I could not figure out what I wanted to say in 40 characters :D
