I heard someone point out yesterday that Dan Quayle was skewered by the Mainstream media for not having enough experience to even be Vice-President and yet at the time he had been a US Senator for 7 years, and spent 4 years in the US Congress prior to that.

This lovefest between a kook and a cork made me throw up a little bit in my mouth. And so nice to see Oohrah jump on the bandwagon by picking up one of Corky's favorite terms of endearment for the Senator from Illinois. I guess imitation really IS the sincerest form of flattery.

I think Quayle was more skewered at the time because he was, well, dumb, not to mention vapid. And I say that from the standpoint of one who was a Republican at the time.

As for the article itself, outside of the recitation of Obama's voting record, which should perhaps bother very conservative Republicans, but reflects hard core Democratic positions, the rest seems to be a regurgitation of old scare tactics, innuendo, and a bit of old fashioned truth-skirting.

Coming from somebody like Bowa it would be no big surprise. But Corky - you should be ashamed of yourself oh great hatchet man.
