Clinton's campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, left the position today, to be replaced by Clinton's former top White House aide, Maggie Williams. The change formalizes a shift in the campaign's power structure that began to set in after Clinton's win in New Hampshire.

Hillary is not paying her senior staffers.

Well, we all know what happened when Rudy started to doing that.

Hillary loaning herself money.

Does the name Mitt Romney ring a bell?

Hillary's support is a mile wide, but only an inch deep.

Did she or Hill-arious cry?

"...the more ornate language in Clinton's speeches..."

That would be yesterday, when she said:

"This is not about ME. This is about YOU"

Lifted by Maggie Williams right from Obama!

Priceless.

With Hillary, you never know.

A. Cackle
B. Cyring
C. Uncontrolalbe coughing.

etc.

your guess is as good as mine.

True enough!
Good thing we have a president who has his own unique non-verbal vocabulary, consisting of:
A. smirking;
B. smirking with both hands moving up and down, as if holding a large basketball and testing the weight;
C. one hand in the "see there?" gesture...while smirking
D. pursing lips together in a "thoughtful" manner

I used to think Godzillary was invincible, now I am starting top have my doubts, I don't know if Obama has the experience, but he is alot better that blubbering hag. I will still bet my bottom dollar that if she gets the nomination, she will pick Wes Clark as her VP.

No matter the topic, it never takes long for some clown to come up with a completely idiotic and irrelevant "Bush is worse" post.

Bush fills your mind. You have nothing but anger and hatred inside, directed at someone who doesn't know you and doesn't care if you are alive or dead.

How sad!

They got smart! Loser candidate!

Quit? Try FIRED.

Clinton's campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, left the position today, to be replaced by Clinton's former top White House aide, Maggie Williams.

Maybe Doyle didn't like the idea of not getting paid for a month.

Huffington has posted an article: "Who is Maggie Williams?"

The announcement that Maggie Williams just became Hillary Clinton's new campaign manager sent me back to a column I wrote about her over ten years ago:

Fallen Angels In Clinton's Rogues' Gallery

November 17, 1997

One of the most distressing features of our current political system and the Clinton White House in particular, is the way they turn otherwise honest, caring, idealistic individuals into spinning, rationalizing, truth-twisting defendants desperately trying to stay out of jail. Last week, we saw the results of this transformation in Hillary Clinton's former Chief of Staff Maggie Williams and in Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt, whose testimony to Congress is now under investigation by the Justice Department.

Maggie Williams' case is particularly poignant. Last week, she testified at the House Government Oversight Committee hearings about her relationship with serial donor Johnny Chung. After spending the afternoon mesmerized by her contortionist testimony, I watched an actress in Anna Deavere Smith's new play "House Arrest" portray Williams and express her hopes that she would really make a difference in the lives of children and those in need. And I have no doubt that is what Williams originally believed her tenure at the White House would be about. Instead, it turned out to be about lie detector tests, racking up over $300,000 in legal bills, and spinning -- the committee, the press and perhaps even herself.

You can see at once the toll this has taken on her. I remember meeting Williams at the start of the first Clinton term and being impressed by her presence, her passion and her sense of humor. And here she is now, having chosen to leave the White House to live in Paris, looking tired, heavy -- defeated.

What made last week's testimony sad and laughable at the same time is her pretense that that same hatred of injustice toward the little guy explains her relentlessly solicitous behavior toward Chung. "As an African American," she told the committee, "I know what it means to be different in politics in America and be on the outside of things and struggle mightily for insider status and recognition, and so I perhaps had an especially high tolerance for Mr. Chung."

Maggie Williams' story is a "Pilgrim's Progress" in reverse. She started out trying to do good and has ended up in the City of Destruction, trying to spin her way out of the rogues' gallery.

Is "quit" really the right word here?

Good thing we have a president who has his own unique non-verbal vocabulary, consisting of:
A. smirking;
B. smirking with both hands moving up and down, as if holding a large basketball and testing the weight;
C. one hand in the "see there?" gesture...while smirking
D. pursing lips together in a "thoughtful" manner
E. Making Reid and Pelosi his bitches

Kerrin, I believe that was the Edwards story that never took off. Look at the date of the posting.

lol. what simpletons some of you are ...

Geee ... she does ALL three of these? Maybe I won't vote for her, after all.

I hear Patti left the Clinton campaign to work for Obama's. Something about Obama having a better health plan.

Maybe she wasn't into the heavy lezbo action required on the campaign bus.

"You can't fire me , I quit".

TAX...article says....

"I've been sensing hints that something's going on, something's going unspoken in certain insider coverage of the campaign (and by the way this rumor the LA Times is supposedly sitting on is one I never heard in this specific form before. By the way, t's not the Edwards rumor, it's something else."

articles says...
" I can't decide if I think it's relevant. But the fact that "everyone" in the elite media knew about it and was keeping silent about it, is, itself, news. But you can't report the "news" without reporting the thing itself. Troubling!

It raises all sorts of ethical questions. What about private sexual behavior is relevant? What about a marriage belongs in the coverage of a presidential campaign? "

makes you say hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

"Quit"...

Riiiight.

From the LA Times:

Some Democratic strategists questioned the wisdom of downgrading Solis Doyle when so many had a hand in crafting Clinton's message.

"It always makes me uncomfortable when somebody is moved aside like this in the middle of a troubled campaign period, because I really never think it's about one person," said Bill Carrick, who has advised Democratic candidates and is unaligned in the 2008 race. "When a campaign has problems, it's probably much more systemic than it is caused by any individual."

Some of Clinton's supporters have been unnerved as they watch her fortunes take a turn for the worse. They've expressed discomfort over what they see as a pattern of reinvention: First Clinton was tough and seasoned, then she tried out a softer persona. She announced in Iowa she would start attacking Obama; then she drew back.

After repeatedly touting her experience, she repackaged herself as the candidate best able to bring about change. Don Fowler, a Clinton backer and former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said the campaign should have moved more quickly to show Clinton's warmer side. "That should have been a concern from the beginning, and I don't think it was," Fowler said
If Obama sweeps the Potomac, then Hill-Billy's campaign will start circling the drain even faster.

Hillary is done, Righto. She lost this nomination on Super Tuesday.

What I want to know is why Hillary won't release her tax returns now? That bugs me. She will have to release them if she gets the nomination, so why not do it now? Even if she isn't hiding something, it gives the impression that she is. Is she afraid all those blue collar union workers might not support her if they knew how--and how much money--the Clintons have earned?

Hillary needs to quit!

Ohh Maggie Williams, she has a long histroy of "experience" in the white house....

"A Secret Service officer today flatly contradicted the White House account of the night of Vincent W. Foster Jr.'s death, telling the Senate Whitewater panel that he had seen Hillary Rodham Clinton's top aide remove files from Mr. Foster's office. The aide vehemently denied doing it.

Testifying under oath before the special Senate committee investigating Whitewater, the officer, Henry P. O'Neill, said that on July 20, 1993, several hours after Mr. Foster's body was found in a Virginia park, he saw Mrs. Clinton's chief of staff, Margaret A. Williams, carrying two handfuls of folders from Mr. Foster's office.

Miss Williams, who testified that she had gone to the White House that night after being called twice by the First Lady, said she had been drawn to a light in office of Mr. Foster, the deputy White House counsel, in the irrational hope that she would find her colleague still alive there.

She said that she had gone inside and wept as another aide looked for a suicide note, but that she did not remove any material from Mr. Foster's office that evening and had never been instructed to remove any files. To support her position, she produced the results of a lie-detector test she said she passed last year in response to questions by Whitewater prosecutors about what she had done.

Asked whether he was certain that he had seen Miss Williams carrying folders out of the office that night, Officer O'Neill replied, "I'm not in any doubt about it, sir."

Sooooo she even admitted to being there, to having entered Vince's office, and to "thinking she'd find him alive".

isn't the clinton machine the masters of deniability??????????

Now who had a reason to lie, the Secret Service agent or Ms Williams?

Hillary is done, Righto. She lost this nomination on Super Tuesday.

That may have been when whe started swirlling around the bowl, but Tuesday will be when the Coriolis effect really kicks in (and yes, Zat, I know that most toilets dictate water rotation by the angle in which the water enters, and the Coriolis effect is several orders of magnitude smaller then that on drain rotation, but you get the point.)

"But Williams' influence has already been felt, I'm told, in the more ornate language in Clinton's speeches, and her presence adds a new dimension to the politics of Hillaryland."

She even invented 'Clap Clap Point Point'.....

whe = the water

Actually it is gravitational pull that dictates the direction water travels inside of a toilet bowl. Counter CLockwise above the equator and clockwise below the equator. Oh and it works just as well with bolts and nuts. If You put a bolt onto some peice of machinery verticly then place the head of the bolt down and the threads sticking straight up and THEN place your nut on the bolt that way it will not loosen while the machine vibrates. The opposite south of the equator.

Larry Mohr

And on the Equator?????

I would guess that on the equator it would depend upon which side of the mouth of the toilet bowl was sitting on. Of course if You would only use an outhouse then it wuldn't make a shit bit difference cause it would go straight down.

Larry Mohr

I was told that on the Equator, they don't flush!

Somebody has been spending too much time studying this shit.........

The crying. The $5M personal donation. Firing her manager. I read this as the general sending signals to her troops to rally behind her. The crying got her a NH win. The personal donation brought in a flood of money. This is likely to have some positive effect too.

this was news while I was bound and gaged in the basement so I didnt get the source but I am pretty sure that this was just another clinton lie. that ALL the staffers havent missed a check and this story was a lie to get more donations. its hard to get a source when the MSM is so much behind one party.

AND.........right now we all need to check records and phone numbers.....a woman has left the team and that usually means that blowjob billy is involved in some manner, as in putting his privates where they dont belong.

...this was news while I was bound and gaged in the basement...

Speaking of your being "bound and gagged" -- WELCOME BACK.

We missed you -- ESPECIALLY Lisa hahahaha
