Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee delivered two humiliating defeats to Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) in the Kansas Republican presidential caucuses and the Louisiana primary, but barely lost to McCain in Washington state, according to an Associated Press projection.

Nice headline for McCain, but why is CNN not reporting a McCain victory in Washington State?

edition.cnn.com

Just askin!

Cheers,
Walt

CNN is still not reporting a victory for McCain. Maybe the AP just want McCain to win?

Cheers,
Walt

This is going to force John to go hard right for his Veep, which will kill him with the moderates.

John will have to do than "go hard right for his veep" no matter what. He shot himself in the political foot with conservatives when he sponsored the bill to grant amnesty to all the illegal invaders. I just hope more people remember that when they walk into the booth.

Cheers,
Walt

McCain 3,468 25.74% 0
Huckabee 3,226 23.94% 0

So 242 votes separate McCain and Huck in Wash. 13% of the votes are not in and yet the AP and Fox predict McCain the winner. That may well be the case, but I would have to call it too close to call at the moment. Hardly worth a McCain Wins Wash. comment at this point.

Cheers,
Walt

Jeeze, Walt. What's your point? That the repube party, for the first time in years is divided? That's what primaries are all about - it's normal. We can thank Bush, can't we? There's nothing like a sitting president so hated by his own party to get the people to the polls.

CNN just now jumped on the bandwagon. They have been reporting the EXACT same numbers for hours, but now all of a sudden they project McCain the winner.

What happened?

Cheers,
Walt

CNN still report the EXACT same number of votes.

Cheers,
Walt

Huckabee wants an ivestigation into the Washington call for MCain with so many uncounted votes.

SOunds like John McBush learned a thing or two since 2000.

Did you know Huck fathered an atheist baby?

Huckabee wants an ivestigation into the Washington call for MCain with so many uncounted votes.

NG,

Where did you hear this?

I think it is reasonable to question, as I have been since yesterday, why they declared for McCain when 13% of the votes have not been counted and the margin is only about 250 votes.

Cheers,
Walt

Still they say McCain, but 13% of the votes are not counted.

Cheers,
Walt
